I have a couple questions about the Pokemon Dream World, hope this is the right place to post them.

1) Has anyone figured out how they decide to give you a female vs a male? Is it just random or is it tied to the score you get in the mini game? For some reason it seems high scores don't really equate to female versions.

2) What determines what moves your dream world pokemon will have? Again is this related to the score of the game or something about hearts coming from that pokemon after you finish their game?

3) What determines when you can water a berry plant (either yours or someone else's). This also seems random to me. Sometimes you can water them when they are just sprouting up, other times when they are blooming. Or maybe will it not let you water them when someone else has already watered them.

Any and all answers to these questions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1) Pretty sure it's random, but it's more weighted towards males. (Probably because females can actually pass along their ability to their offspring.)

2) What moves it would normally have at level 10, plus one other move that is given to it, that you will see when you acquire the Pokemon/are about to send it. Each Pokemon can have 1 of 2 moves that it will be given as an extra, and it may or may not be a DW-exclusive move. And the move chosen? I'm pretty sure it's random.

3) I think each day or so, the berry plots get gradually "dryer". Watering it will cause it to become damp again. Damp plots can't be watered, nor can plots with berries actually sprouting from them. It works a lot like berry growth in Generation 3 - in fact, it's virtually identical.

As for watering another person's garden, you can water other people's gardens 20 times before using Game Sync again. Using Game Sync (and sending the Pokemon back) resets that count to 20.

Hi guys.

So I just finished up in Dream World, and I want to wake up my Pokemon. I pressed the Power Button thing and the status is "ready to wake up." But when I go on my Game Sync, it says to go onto the website and enter the code, which I already did. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to go to the Online part, connect to the DW, receive the data, go to the Wireless option on the C Gear, go to Entralink, and go into the forest to catch the POkemon you sent back, assuming you did so.

So, I have a weezing with 50 attack evs, positive attacking nature, and 20-ish ivs. Should it get explosion, or destiny bond? Its attack is estimated 248 at lv. 100. Pm me your oppinions please.

Destiny Bond is a bit of a quirky move. You will go second anyway, and they'll just avoid your Destiny Bond by switching out or using some sort of status move (since Destiny Bond effect only lasts until your next attack). Play it safe and go with Explosion - the only thing that can really screw you up there is a Ghost-type.

Dream World is giving me a headache...

Every time I go to wake my Pokemon up on my game it says "you have not received the remnants of the dream" or something like that. It says this EVERY TIME. What do I do?

Whenever you send any items back to your game, you must go pick them up in the Entralink. There'll be a boy by the Forest of Dreams entrance who will give you the items (he won't be there if you haven't any items to pick up). Once you pick the items up he'll disappear, as will that message.

I just went to TRU to download the Secret Egg, so when I evolve the Pokemon I got from it(Pansage), will it still continue to learn the same moves as the one in the anime, still?

I'm pretty sure that it will learn moves that any other Pansage would normally learn at the same levels as normal. Nothing special.

It would learn the moves a normal one would learn. Why would they make it have a different moveset...? :3

Any team. It's the Elite Four. In-game teams don't matter. You can beat the entire Elite Four with Skarmory Lv. 1 and someone that knows Leech Seed -.-
