I know a Ganondorf main who beat Ally's Meta Knight. But it's not nearly as hard as it would sound...Ally has that kind of memory with characters that makes it hard for him to transition his strategy from one character to another. I mean, he fell for the good old flame choke -> reverse fsmash on Ganondorf. Normally he doesn't make mistakes like that.

Meta Knight is banned sometimes, but the only thing that is ALWAYS banned is Meta Knight's Invisible Cape Glitch.
@TFO: That battle you're talking about sounds like me, I always fall for the sutpidest things I should be able to get out of

The Infinite Cape glitch allows MK to remain under his cape indefinitely. It's banned from competitive play because MK can use it to stall or feint his opponent too easily.

Hahaha, sorry, I missed that post :p I don't understand some of the terminology, like "gimp" "DACUS" and "desynching."

Gimp is when you hit someone with a move while they're offstage that will make it either harder to recover, or will stop them from recovering completely. This is different from a spike, however. I already explained DACUS and desynching earlier in this thread so just look back a few posts.

TFO, this is exactly why I said you should be a Co-Leader. I know how to do all this stuff, I just don't have the vocabulary :p
Anyway, Gimp is one of the funnest things to do, and it works great with Pikachu. (I believe one of the best with Gimp)

No, his laser does damage, but doesn't stop them from moving, like Falco's gun. More importantly, Pikachu's Jolt travels across and down the stage, so they can't wall jump up, or can stop them in the middle of recovery and they fall and die

Thunder Jolt doesn't really work on people like Snake, though...dang super armor. :p

Actually, I think Snake is the only one(unless Meta Knight uses his Tornado thing) but that's one of the million reasons Pikachu is #9 on the tier

Only scrubs use Thunder spam. Pikachu can be a technical character if you choose to play him properly.

Sheik is extremely good at gimping. Even in Brawl, that's probably the most efficient way for her to kill besides a DACUS. Ganondorf actually has some good gimping game too, but you have to be careful when recovering.

And just a note, YOU DO NOT GIMP META KNIGHT. Don't even try. You will get owned so badly.

Yeah. Play Jirachinick to find out how awesome Pikachu is. =P. I went to Atlantic City for a few nights so I hope I'm still in the group . Sheik gimps are so pro. Look em up on Youtube. Wish I could do that...

Man is Meta Kinght a good character. Mostly cause he's so easy to use. I once tried fighting Meta Knight vs Meta Knight in a stamina match. It really works if you play on FD and have Dissapeared (KH1FM or KH2 version doesn't matter which) playing while theirs no music

I'm just starting to use meta knight(along with marth). I decided I should learn to use some characters higher tiered than pikachu. Its working out pretty good so far. The only thing I dont like about him is that he doesn't have many moves that really throw people off the stage. You have to spend alot of time damaging them or gimp them really well to get any KOs.
