At the Beach
Darkrai, currently Drake, walks robotically over to the Beach. He decides to take a long walk to get used to this body, and then trains Drake's Pokemon until they're all Level 30 - if every single owned Pokemon on the island needed to be Level 50, he would train them himself. Then, he could abandon them, absorb Night's soul and steal his Pokemon, then leave The Void, trapping Heatran and the citizens inside. It will be perfect - while they train, they're actually endangering themselves in a way. They will need to decide if they'd rather die here as a castaway in years' time or risk their lives in an attempt to escape in a few weeks' time. It will be a hard decision, and he expects some to attempt to leave, but they're not going to get away on his watch...
In Fauna Forest
Night has almost every single Normal-type Pokemon back in Insomnia - his PC box was full of them, with Stoutland, Togekiss and Exploud as just a few of the many examples of great Normal-types he owned. He can't access them now, and might never be able to, which is a chilling thought. He decides that he can compete with the big stuff, sending out Chandelure to deal with a passing Cinccino.
"Chandelure, use Flame Burst!"
The chandelier Pokemon attacks by sending flames at Cinccino.
"Now, use Curse."
He lays a curse upon Cinccino, halving his own HP.
"Now, go, Ultra Ball!"
The ball shakes thrice, then sparks. Cinccino is caught.
Not in an Ash-like mood, Night simply smiles and makes his way further into the forest.
Update
If someone doesn't have any Poke Balls left and needs one to catch a Normal-type, they can have one Luxury Ball.
If any trainer obtains over 6 Pokemon, the rest will be stored in the shacks.
