Im with ya there.
I think Canada will do pretty well in figure skating as well.

I think Japan is gonna do well in figure skating this year, but I don't follow the Olympics too much, so I don't know if they've been successful before.

Kenya will win all and every event. They are Kenya. Its what they do. They will win the 100 meter sprint as well, and the hurtles, and the swimming events and-wait-we are in winter now? Lol ooooops haha. Idk, I don't follow this much, but I would LOVE to see Israel make gold in an event.

I agree, but Team Russia is gonna give them a run for their money with Alex Ovechkin and Evgeni Malkin teaming up. But I do prefer Canada's roster.

Opening ceremony was so long... o.o
The first poem that was read i remember presenting to my class last year.
lol the Hydrolic system was down so someone didn't get to light the fire.
I'm upset that Gretzky got to be the torch runner. :/
EDIT: I'm also upset that Canada had 10 less people than the U.S. participating and that Vietnam isn't participating.

Lets go USA! Norway has the most Gold medals in the Winter Olympics so I hope they lose every challenge so USA will win lol.

I'm predicting that the best teams (overall) will be:
1. USA (Gold Medal)
2. Canada (Silver Medal)
3. Austria (Bronze Medal)
Reason being, for one, USA has the most people. They automatically have the highest chance of getting Gold simply for their sheer numbers. That, and they are monsters at everything they try to do (except for Soccer, in which case they're a laughing stock).
Canada has some incredibly strong players this year, and with their expertise in ice Hockey, they might even slaughter the US in that sport. Really strong team overall, and I'm thinking they'll be the biggest answer to USA this year.
Austria always does incredibly well here. Watch out for these guys: they know their winter sports.
Honorable mentions go to Germany, which is a decent country in this overall. They should at least get a few silvers, if not a few Golds.
Japan also boasts themselves as the master of ice-skating, and I expect them to sweep that event.

Just a quick guess, I remember Austria do quite well on these games. USA, well, they always do well, and Czech Republic because from what I have seen so have, not too bad.
