Anyways, is there any set criteria that the judging is gonna go by yet?
 
Yes a set criteria would be helpful otherwise I will make my own. Also to help represent the Writer's Haven I have made my own entry as well. So I guess I shall be a contestant and a judge.

Yeah, I'd rather not do anything other than say 1st+2nd+3rd. Otherwise it's too much work and I might as well have entered lol.

This is how you judge the stories:

Read the story, then ask yourself, "Does this story suck?" If yes, no vote. If no, continue to the next entry. Repeat until all entries have been read. Find all of the stories you said no to, then rank them from suckiest to least suckiest. Post the top three. If this number ends up being less than three, pick the least suckiest out of the suckiest.

In short, there are no set criteria. If you think a story sucks, don't vote for it, it's that easy.

There is also no official signup period although it would be cool that you tell everyone you will be competing. Anyone who submits an entry by the deadline will be considered.

Monday noon on CDT time. Best to just send it in Sunday.
 
Oooh, Monday's the deadline? That will be difficult since im at Nats now. But I will do my best to get it in.
 
Lol, I was going to ask to join, but I see I'm already counted. I'll try to post something on Sunday (tomorrow), since I'm lazy enough to avoid messing with time zones

So on Monday, will the storys be posted up on the thread, then we judge them, and say which one is the best? And the on which is the best wins, corrrect?

You are thus giving 10, 7, and 4 points to the people you choose (the higher the place, the more points). The person who has the most points of that round wins and gets their section added to the story.
 
But what about the next round? Does everyone compete again, or does someone get eliminated? At the end of the 7 paragraphs, are all the points collected, and someone named a winner? I need to know!
