up to 200 damage on the 2nd or 5th turn with honchkrow! say what?? nationals :)

I have a new deck idea everyday
Member
4-4 honchkrow (vengeance) ud
4 sableye sf
4 spiritomb ar
3-3 electrode prime
10 {D} arceus ar
4 nuzleaf rr

trainer cards
4 sage's training
2 pokemon collector
2 petm
2 vs seeker
2 junkarm

6 {D}
4 {D} sp
2 {C} {C}

start with either spiritomb or sableye with at least 2 voltobs and 1 murkrow on the bench and maybe 1 arceus for back up and counter against celebi. if you dont have them use impresonate the pokemon collector or use it from your hand for them next evolve the voltobs to electrode *note this works best with at least 2 electrode* use energymite both of them and any energy found there attach it to murkrow or honchkrow any extra energy attach to the arceus or your active pokemon for retreat cost. all other cards a discarded most of them will be dark pokemon. need extra damage start using sage's training and pick any cards but the dark pokemon also make a differant stack of cards that only have the dark pokemon to count your damage that you put out

Juniper would work wonders in this deck.

i used them in this deck a long time ago and i end up decking myself

10 Arceus? Why 10. That is way to much... Not even 3 are needed, because they only serve a purpose as a tech based of what I've read.

^They are more darks to discard, fueling Honchkrow's attack. Great idea by the way, I tried building this deck before but I never thought of using the dark Arceus.

this is a great looking deck. ever run into an issue where you cant get honchrow out? prized/discared with energymite?

RE: up to 200 damage on the 2rd or 5th turn with honchkrow! say what?? nationals :)

with 4 honchkrow, I don't think all of them in the prize cards is very likely. so I'm sure he could get it out just fine. as far as discarding, why would he be discarding all of his honchkrow?

what's the purpose of nuzleaf? if it's for more dark pokemon in the discard pile, there's a few pokemon out there that could be discarded and still serve a better purpose in case you need something else. even more dark arceus would work.

RE: up to 200 damage on the 2rd or 5th turn with honchkrow! say what?? nationals :)

I personally would
-4 nuzleaf and add in
2-2 Weavile (UD)
It's a dark pokemon, so it serves as a discard for more damage pokemon. It will allow you to disrupt your opponent early on (to help stall while you are building your krow damage)

@ ghost bear
with 4 honchkrow, I don't think all of them in the prize cards is very likely. so I'm sure HE could get it out just fine. as far as discarding, why would HE be discarding all of HIS honchkrow?

(i am a girl thank you very much) and the nuzleaf are in there because i have to many of them. i am thinking about adding 1 or 2 pokemon rescue what do you guys and gals think i should take out but not any nuzleaf

@ cole'a
spiritomb is the best staller because you cant play any and i mean any trainer, supporters, and stadiums do to the fact that they are all called trainers now :) but it won't stop me. but thanks for the advice ;)

Spiritomb doesn't stop Supporters and Stadiums. The Poke-Body will be read as stopping "Trainer - Items" only.

There's really no reason to have the Nuzleaf. A 2-2 Weavile line or 4 Absol Prime serve more purpose.

since I did not know your gender, I was grammatically inclined to use the word "he." otherwise I'd have to use your full screen name, and to be honest, I'm a lazy person. so I didn't want to do that. so with that, I apologize.

back to pokemon, spiritomb, like julliant pointed out, will now be read as preventing "trainer - item" cards. so in a sense, it'll block the same cards as it used to and no more. and having nuzleaf in a deck simply because you have many of it doesn't make any sense strategically, as both 4 absol prime and 2-2 weavile would both be much better choices as active pokemon, and would do the same effect in the discard pile.

however, it is your deck, after all, so you absolutely can do whatever you want with it :) we're just offering our opinion in hopes to aid you competitively.

RE: up to 200 damage on the 2rd or 5th turn with honchkrow! say what?? nationals :)

i dont want to dark pokemon to the lost zone that would be pointless

you could use a 2-2 umbreon to stall against powers/abilities/bodies. or 2-2 houndoom prime to possible burn the defending pokemon. or 2-2 zoroark for countering, stalling and faster setup.

you dont have to lost zone them its just a better starter then just have 4 useless cards in the deck.
-4 Nuzleaf
+4 Absol Prime
-2 PETM
+2 Bebe
-2 dark
+2 DCE
-1-1 Electrode
+2 Prof Juniper

replace PETM just in case you never know, Put juniper in -1-1 electrode should help you not deck out and u will love juniper.

@ghost bear: i didnt mean she would intentionally discard her honchkrom but when shes discarding doing energy mite twice with electrode thats 14 cards. plus the 6 prizes. thats a third of the deck not to mention the initial 7 card draw. i know that spiritomb can get it out but again not garunteed to start with it.
@mr. ferrari: i think she already said she didnt like juniper in the deck. shes probably discarding enough with energy mite and sages training. but i agree one wouldnt hurt to clean out your hand

if you are running the energymite strategy, twins or blackbelt might help you out with set up or extra damage if you didnt get enough poke in your discard. maybe -4 nuzleaf for 2 twins 2 blackbelt. just a thought
