Pokemon VENUSAUR VS TORTERRA

They both do normal damage to each other (Venusaur-Grass, Torterra-Ground)
And to what watermaster said, I would think it can be a tie
 
^how it can be a tie..??torterra's attack is higher than venusaur's defence..mmm but venusaur's sp. attack is higher than torterra's sp defence..well..it might be a tie in fighting each other but torterra is much cooler than vanusaur..
 
^cooler yes..but i never checked its stats...anyway..i like it cause its head its like figure i had when i was 10...i loved that figure.

Sick is totally right...Venusaur gave "ugly" a whole new meaning.. well, at least for me. I stil like Grotle over Torterra though, Grotle has that awesome shell...good shape, nice bushes :p
 
Whoa, how about we give venasaur some credit in the looks department...at least he doesn' look like jynx.
 
well..i can see that torterra rules..of course it rules..its the best..and as Beowolf said,torterra's shell is cooll..and its big tree too..

Yeah, I also like the Mountain Range on the other side of his shell.
 
Looks arn't everything, and a tree on the back doesn't garantee anything. It's probably be a draw, but Venusaur has the added ability to poison the opponent, which would put a dent on Torterra. But Torterra may have some abilities of his own. At this point, it's really hard to say. But since I am a fan of the original pokemon, I'd say Venusaur.
 
sorry if I was carried away by torterra's looks.:D venusaur was once my fave pokemon until torterra came, but 'till now venusaur is still part of my team and i am still and will always be a "venu-fan":D

Aw, no worries! ^_^ I actually was impressed by the way he looked too the first time I saw him, lol. I must admit he looks quite awesome. Aww poor Venusaur is #2 instead of #1 on ur cool pokemon list eh? Haha tis okay, he is still a part of ur team tho ^_^ I like it when people are loyal to the original pokemon :D
 
Venusaur = Grass/Poison
Torterra = Grass/Ground

If Venu is Poison too then it gains weakness against Tort's Ground typing ( Tort = 1 pt. ). But Ground is weak against Grass ( Venu = 1 pt. ). And Grass itself is weak against Grass ( both = 1 pt. ). Grass is also weak against Poison ( Venu = 1 pt. )
....so....
Torterra - 2 pts.
Venusaur - 3 pts.
*Venusaur won >.< ( let's just all wish Torterra recieves Fire Blast the next generation,...that's when Venusaur falls..hhaha )

...Anyway, I think Grass typing alone can beat Grass/Ground so...If Tort were to face Mega, then Torterra loses..( thats what i think )
 
yeah, that'd be nice. Meganium vs. Sceptile !! of course, the much faster Sceptile would win. Speed alone can beat the life out of Meganium :p

It'd be great that we try other match-ups on Pokemon :D
 
I am and always be loyal to the first two series of Pokemon. Venusaur, Meganium you are the best.
 
I personally have Diamond and are very disappointed in its quality... RBY/FRLG Are better. Venusaur all the way! New Pokemon stink!
