I may not be so good with IV's and all that stuff, but not bad with EV's. I have played every single pokemon game for the Gameboy/DS (excluding Japanese game that are not out in English, if any) so far. I have played Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, PMD1, PMD2, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Colosseum, Pokemon XD (Had high hopes for this one, but it turned out worse than I expected), and Battle Revolution. Forgive me if I have left any out. And this is not counting the Wii Download able games. I do have a Wii, and Wifi, and everything pretty much, except Wii points.
Grammar is my number one priority whenever writing stories. I have good grammar, I would say, but lately, my stories have been lacking them. I've been slacking off. Whenever writing my stories, I always think of grammar before storyline. Well, thats not totally true, since I have had many stories (most failed except 2). But I'd have to say that I have good grammar.
When D/P came out, I pre-ordered it quickly. I knew I had to get this game since it would be revolutionary. I quickly beat it so I could start EV training my pokemon. I had just learned about EV's at this point, so I wasn't great. The only good pokemon that turned out really good that I use in all my battles is my EV trained Rhyperior (forgive me if I spelled it wrong). This pokemon won me many battles back then/ It may have been slow and always attacked second in battles, it had high defense. But it has been unlucky sometimes when I would get struck by a water type move, either KO'ing me in hit, or close to KO. I also had an EV trained Shiny Glalie that I used in every battle. But I later realized that Glalie wasn't such a great pokemon, so I put him up on my player thread.
Back when D/P came out, I was pretty popular on my My Player Thread. I had beaten my game quickly and started to hatch many Eevee eggs to get good IV's. Sam Von Noobenshtein (sorry for the misspell) had started to teach me more about Iv's and EV's. Since I was aiming for a Leafeon and Glaceon, he told me what IV's in what stats I should be looking for. I hatched so many Eevee eggs, I would stay up late at night, riding on my bike (In-Game) just trying to hatch the eggs. Then, I got so bored. As I walked to the PC to deposit all my eggs, one of them hatched. *crack* *crack* *crack* Shiny Eevee. This was so awesome. People may have already had Shiny Eevee's, but this one was so special to me. I kept him, never trained him one level. I got some people to clone him for me. The benefit for them was they could keep one.
But after many people got rare pokemon, the rare pokemon were not rare anymore. That was when My Player Thread declined. People who were more advanced began to EV train pokemon for others, and me and some other peoples My Player Thread were dying. I would get about 1 request a week, and it would usually be someone who would say, "Sorry, I don't need it anymore." Eventually, people stopped posting, and I was all alone for a few moments. After that, I trained among myself and eventually I returned, and got a more prosperous My Player Thread. People we glad to see me return, but some didn't remember me at all, which was the most sad part. I quickly went to the Battle Arena and battled someone, and won. I started to record my battles on my Player thread. That battle when I returned was a No Legendary, 3 pokemon only, single battle. I used Rhyperior, Leafeon, and Glaceon. I defeated him, and only lost one pokemon in the battle. That was when everything turned and I became better in competitive battling. Later on, I joined some teams and actually learned a lot. It was a great moment. I began entering tournaments and everything. I was not bad, but there were still many better than me. After a few tournaments over a period of time, I had stopped playing D/P, and possibly just dashed through the GTS every once in a while. My Player Thread, I had neglected, and stopped trading, but still battled once in a while. Right now, I had continued to battle, but in the process of creating a new team. The Dawn of PokeLen shall continue.
