Someone threatened PCL? That's bad... I wonder who it was? Some supporter of a rival TCG? An extremist Yu-Gi-Oh fan? OK, so that's just not believable... So who'll go to Worlds from Japan then? Will they host more smaller tourneys to decide? Either way, I think PCL made the right decision. They actually care about their fans over there, unlike... (see next paragraph)
As for the MD theory, it's definitely right. It's really a filler set. Please, no more Rival reprints! I'm sick of them! What really needs a reprint is Memory Berry. Now that would get sales. The Glaceon's an interesting card, [W] for flip-dependent protection is decent, nice second attack, but with 80 HP it just won't survive in a world where much stronger Water types exist. I'd actually like it if they included Basic Energy, but they'd better include Darkness/Metal Basic. Mind you, they'd have to not reprint the Special Darkness/Metal. Too many reprints of cards that'll be in the format for at least one more year. We need reprints of Memory Berry, Celio's, Energy Removal, that sort of thing. Yes, I did say Energy Removal! And a reprint of Cessation Crystal would be cool, too. Call me a Gym geek if you like, but I'd actually like a reprint of Misty's Duel, although the card text would need a lot of updating, and it'd be really cool if they left the old artwork on, as the last remains of the old color style that'll be all gone when GSC gets remade. That's the one problem with a GSC remake. Apart from that, I'm completely for it. One thing, though... Please, no more rubbish trainers!
