Why did we get a new forum layout when the forum is closing?

I actually really like it, good job WPM and whoever else worked on it.
 
I LOVE it! its amazing. looking at my browser, check messages, and BAM a punch in the face. only problem is, i cant figure out how to make a new thread. :/

Haha, but seriously, the forums look great, and I think it's an improvement that will actually have a big impact here. Mass, mass props.
 
I like it a lot! Its brighter then the original and now we can stop making spam trying to figure out phase moltres xD

Simpler as in easier to navigate. Once I got on here for the first time with the change, it took me a good 10-15 minutes trying to figure out how to back up to the forum I was viewing from the thread. Thus with the old theme it was simpler because it was in larger text right above the first post.

Idk how I feel about the new layout yet. I'm hoping that it will grow on me, but if now I hope we get an option in our User CP to choose which layout we shall see like they do on some forums.
 
This looks pretty awesome. I thought this is what happens when you get banned because that article was the first thing I saw when I visited the pokebeach forums. I was like 'what have I done now?'

The forums did die but were reborn with the new layout. WPM plays good pranks on everyone XD.:) However the forums are plain awesome.:)
 
Love it, it's a refreshing change, especially from not being here for a good year and more. Props to all contributors. :)
