To those of you who say it is too bright: what parts of the layout are you referring to? I honestly just think you're not used to it yet. We've been on that bland, grayish layout for so long that this brighter, vibrant layout is probably too shocking a transition. But you'll adapt to it soon enough.

I think WPM may be right. Viewing it at 11pm in sharp contrast to the old theme...well, my eyes did hurt quite a bit (after all, it was nighttime and then BOOM everything changes).
It might be that the orangey bits are the sand bars that border each thread and which are above and below the quick reply box. They look...almost too bright to be sand-colored.
Also...I agree with that one guy (I'm too lazy to look up the thread for his name) who said that all the threads got clumped together, stickies and all. I think at the very least there could be some sort of dividing line between the two, because at the moment the threads look all bunched up and it gives a rather cluttered feeling.

The current way is like vBulletin.
I felt the old way of separating them made it way too easy to completely ignore the section.

The new theme is siiick. Simply amazing. Kudos to all who helped put this together!
I really enjoy the new theme. I personally love the logo too, I was having my own fan boy moment. I don't really mind the colors and the forum looks better this way.

i find the orange accents a little too bright for my taste.
not about getting use to it, its just a little too vibrant for my matured eyes. too much of a contrast. although aethetically it may look very nice and stand out, in the long run, it just causes more strain on my eyes

The forums look good, a little bright, but still good. One suggestion I have is to have an easier way to see which threads you've posted in. I know the icon switches to Starmie when you have a post in a thread, but it's difficult to see against the current background.
