Actually, the nerds killed their own defector. Pretty funny, actually. Anyway, since both DNA and Meaty were surrounded by a "protective veil" its likely that the same person protected both of them. This means that either we have another bodyguard other than Meaty, or Meaty got a power-up, right?

Whoops! Yeah you're right; I didn't notice that bit.

1) I'm glad that the double vote thing is finally cleared up.

2) Here's what I think on the protections: Meaty protected either safariblade or DNA, and it caused both of them to be protected from the spirits because the spirits seem to be a two-person targeting role. However, that doesn't explain how Meaty was protected... Maybe another priest of some sort?

3) Speaking of inactives, is Gale still playing? Because if he is I don't think he's posted once, making him a prime candidate for a lynch.

But if meaty got a power-up, wouldn't it have been annouced?

I think it's more likely that the spirits came from the same person as they did in night 3
As the students were about to sleep, someone was chanting a weird spell and spirits were sent out. These spirits both went to DNA and PMJ's room and they both felt a bit weirder as the spirits engulfed them.
and
It was then when spirits tried to encircle DNA and Safariblade but mysteriously, a protective veil around DNA stopped these spirits from further doing anything.

If that's true, someone really likes targeting DNA.

Yeah, we need to find out was was protecting DNA, Meaty, and Safari.

"It was then when spirits tried to encircle DNA and Safariblade but mysteriously, a protective veil around DNA stopped these spirits from further doing anything. The jock leader also went out of the room and tried to kill off Meaty. As he approached Meaty, a protective veil had also surrounded him and warded the jock leader off."

It sounds like DNA and Safari are linked by some sort of a role, and that 2 different roles protected Meaty and DNA.

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

I doubt that Safari and DNA are linked, I think that they were just both targeted by that spirit role.

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

Well, did the spirit role affect safari but not DNA? How were they both targeted by the same role?

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

Remember the previous night? DNA and PMJ were both targeted by spirits. The same thing happened last night except it targeted DNA and safariblade.

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

I don't know why me and DNA were together, but whoever saved me, THANKS!

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

From what I can tell, the spirits planned to use you as a meatshield for DNA (just like they used PMJ as a meatshield for him the night before), not save you.

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

It's 50/50, DV. It could have gone either way. We have no idea who was the meatshield and who was protected.

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

No, but it doesn't make sense for the spirits to protect DNA one day and then turn him into their meatshield the next day, does it?

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

Remember how you guys thought I was the nerd defector yesterday? Well ... haha! That was rather hilarious, though, that the nerds basically shot themselves in the foot.

This night gives us very little to go off of, unfortunately. The idea that DNA and Safari are linked seems like a shot in the dark, really. I just think whoever targeted DNA and Safari has the power to target two people at the same time.

He's going the distance. He's going for speed. She's all alone. All alone in her time of need. Because he's racing and pacing and plotting the course. He's fighting and biting and riding on his horse.

Unless TDL is pulling a really bad joke on us, the singing is definitely part of his role. I highly doubt a neutral would have singing as one of there "abilities."
I think we should either lynch TDL or Gale.

Are you serious? Have you ever played a WW game before? There's almost always a neutral with either a singing or gibberish role. They're usually the town drunk or something.

This is exactly what I always talk about whenever you make up some ridiculous theory for who we should lynch...

Blah, would you please just shut up? No one would ever, EVER give a hostile role a dead giveaway ability like that. There is always some townie that does something like that.

Also, why Gale? He's at least posted several times. Blue Thunder has only made one post so far, and that was Day 1, and it held a single word. "Confirming."

I'm seriously getting tired of you Blah. Can we please kill him if we get no other leads by the end of the day?

Exactly what I've been saying for days now. If there was any suspicion of him being a wolf (which apparently there is none), I'd have already pushed incredibly hard to get him gone.

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

I checked Gale's posts and I'm pretty sure he hasn't posted since day 2, even though he's been on a bunch since then. So, he definately is an inactive. Also, we killed the town drunk day 1, so its not TDL. But seriously Blah, you want to lynch him for posting song lyrics....I'm sorry to say it, but that's stupid.

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

An inactive lynch is probably the best thing we can do right now. Killing Blah is kind of pointless, as I've said before, and I think it's better to lynch someone who has an actual chance of being a wolf than someone with virtually no chance at all (also what I said before). But seriously Blah, some of the things you say, scratch that, ALL of the things you say are absolutely, positively insane.

RE: Werewolf XI "Revenge of the Nerds" - Day 5 End 12/17/2011 8AM GMT+8

Blah might not be a wolf or a good lynch at all, but he's still dangerous in the fact that he tries to lynch people with zero solid evidence. A dumb townie is just as dangerous as a wolf; they both get people killed.

He might not be the best lynch, but he has been posting silly stuff throughout the game. If we don't find any leads by the end of the day, I say we lynch him not in the hopes of getting a wolf, but rather in the hopes of having more intelligent days and less innocent deaths caused by a silly bandwagon with no evidence.

That's just my two cents on Blah. I don't think he's a wolf, I just think he's a bad player. No offense, dude.

She's overbored and self-assured. Oh no, I know a dirty word. Hello, hello, hello, how low?
