Day 3

Puff was quickly surrounded by a group of Ashes calling for his lynching. "Wait!" one of them said. "If he is going to die, at least let him explain himself!"

The other Ashes agreed, and Puff made his case. In the end, the Ashes decided leaving Puff alive was too risky a play and so he was lynched. Puff was:

The Ashes all went to bed after tossing Puff's body outside, each wondering which of them would not wake up in the morning.

Okay, got talked to by The Yoshi, who claimed he didn't know he had to check in.

This is not acceptable. When you all signed up, you all claimed to have read the rules, which states that everyone must post during the Day in order to be considered active. Because the day does not always go a full week as planned, I extend the deadline to the end of the Night (which would have been seven days after the start of the Day anyway). I always say that anyone who doesn't post during the Day must post during the Night so ignorance is no excuse.

If you can't find the time to post _once_ in this thread over seven days' time, then I don't want you in this game. Yes, the game is moving fast. No, that is not a valid excuse for not posting. Neither Nengeni nor Rock Wrecker posted during the day, but they weren't put on the inactives list because they PMed me saying they were still in.

If they can do it, so can the rest of you. If you're going to join a game that depends on your being here to be successful, then I don't think it's too much to ask that you, y'know, be here so the game can be successful.

Night 3

The Rockets sat down to play some SSB 64 and discussed who to kill. One of them was being lame and didn't wanna play, so he went off by himself to play PlayStation.

During this time, evil spirits visited safariblade, Dark Void, and TheGuy. When they were done, each of the players felt helpless and weak.

After the remaining Rockets got done playing, one of them went out and gave Dark Void a present.

...It was murder. Dark Void was:

Role: May Langford-Ketchum
Alignment: Sketchmore Industries

Congratulations, you're May! Beaten and traumatized a year ago, you've lost your sight and can't see. Ash has sworn his life to protecting you.

Ability: I Am NOT Useless!
You may use this ability once per game. PM me the name of a player. That player's role PM will be revealed to all at the beginning of the next day phase. (You can't use this on night zero.)

The Rockets all went to bed after that. They all slept in the same bed, because it was cold and they wanted to cuddle to stay warm.

In the morning, everyone was awakened by a bloodcurdling scream. They rushed to find Ice Arceus over Dark Void's corpse. Unwilling to go on after losing two women he loved, Ice Arceus took out a pocket knife and stabbed himself in the heart. Ice Arceus was:

Sending out night roles that have been resolved now. I usually do this in reverse, I know. Don't freak, I didn't forget.

Ash and May are dead. They cannot communicate with each other because... they're dead.

Two for one? Not good. The real Ash is gone, leaving us with a bunch of clones. (On an unrelated note I have no idea how that'll affect the story in the future, but okay.)

I've seen a few hints so far this night:

First there is a Rocket playing PlayStation. It's possible I'm reading too much into this, but maybe we might be able to look for someone who's somehow restricted (not counting Safari or Guy obviously) this day? I don't know.

Second, there's Safari and Guy being weakened somehow. An indie role, perhaps? Or it could just as likely be a townie or a Rocket role. But why were Safari, Guy, and Dark Void picked as targets to weaken?

And third...why is Ash's role illegible? Rusticks' role was illegible too, so maybe the two are related somehow?

Just throwing out suggestions here to see what the next course of action should be.

My bets are on that I was weakened by a townie. Also, the curse is that I become a vanilla, I assume its the same for safariblade.

I'm thinking that the illegible role is something to the effect of "You are a Zombie!" or whatever. Looks like we're gonna get some interesting things happening soon.

And now for the necessitated "did anyone get any useful information during the night?" question.

Also, I just wanna say that I love what PMJ is doing with this game. Many people probably are taking all the work he's doing for granted. He's such an involved host, and the story and roles are all awesome. This just might be the best game of WW that Pokebeach has ever seen.

Well, another one two bite the dust. ESP may be onto something, but wouldn't PMJ have said something if ash was still playing? (or maybe it happens during the next night or something, idk)

If ESP is right I would say that he gets automatically revived after one or a few days/nights. But you should consider that he commited suicide, so that seems kinda... stupid. xD

Seriously though. I have no idea about what we should be debating now... :C My memories of the past days are getting hazy and I at least don't remember we got any clues that might help us at all. :/ (Especially cause Puff was innocent.) I don't feel like re-reading this thread either. .__. (Anyone? Anything? ;P)

Maybe on every odd night, either a part or a whole role becomes illegible.

That's an interesting idea, though, but if he does come back, what would that mean anyway? Would he just be undead but with more (or less) powers, or would he just go rogue and go indie or something?
Either way, I don't think the illegible role is something to dwell on, really.

Well, it might be.
Rusticks' role was illegible for some reason; could these two roles be related?

We need to step up now, the Rockets are moving at a blistering pace.

A theory for DNA's post would be maybe another mason group or something? Townies usually also do get the role-blocking abilities and knowing Guy and SB are also good players maybe the townies just targetted them or something. I dunno.. The illegible role is creeping me though but at the same time it could be one of those abilities that could revive him or do something nice for us.

I could be that that specific ability continues to work after death, but they may not post.
