End of Day 8

"Porygon-X is a vigilante!" ComfortEagle yelled from the crowd. "They're brothers, so it makes sense - they have to be in cahoots with each other!"

"My brother just died and now you want to come after me?" Porygon-X retaliated. "How cruel can you people be?"

"Speak for yourself - you guys are the ones trying to kill us all off! Get him!"

"Fine, be that way. But mark my words...this town, and everyone in it, will die screaming!"

Porygon-X was:

The Dragon
Alignment: Vigilantes

You are "the Dragon" - namely, the second-in-command of the vigilantes. The big boss man has put his trust in you completely, securing your position as his most loyal confidant. And, like the boss, no one dares disobey your orders.

Ability : Big Boss
Use : Once per night.
You can't use this on night 0. When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 non-vigilante player, plus the name of 1 of your vigilantes (it can be yourself or anyone on your team). The first player you chose will be killed, and the vigilante you chose will be the one who does the killing that night. If you are killed, this ability will pass to another vigilante at random (chosen by me).

Ability : Criminal Mastermind
Use : Always on.
If anyone tries to read your alignment, it will show up as "Dusty Gulch". This ability stops working when 1 of the following conditions is met, whichever happens soonest:
  • When Day 4 is over
  • When 2 vigilantes are dead
  • When the ringleader is dead

Ability : Secret Hideout
Use : Always on.
You have free access to the Vigilante's Hideout, and can use it to communicate at will with your team.

Win condition: Vigilantes must match, or exceed, the remaining number of players

Turbo-lynch much? This game seems to be full of them, but it seems like you guys have another vigilante! With six vigilantes now dead, it looks like the town might actually be able to win this! Or will they?

Day 9

With the mad rush to stop the vigilantes once and for all, the remainder of the town mustered what was left of their strength to nip them in the bud. One particular individual, flush with the smell of victory, rushed out into the dead of night. "I'm so close!" he whispered, running across town to the house of another person.

However, his visit there was anticipated, and a vigilante who spotted him shot him dead on the spot. It was HypnoticLuxray.

HypnoticLuxray was:

The Police Chief
Alignment: Dusty Gulch

You are the police chief of Dusty Gulch. In conjunction with the sheriff, you help to apprehend and imprison the bad guys. Plus you wanted to join the job for all the notoriety you get. Cops are cool. They have guns. You have a gun. That was the ulterior motive for joining the force.

Ability : Snoop Around
Use : Once per night.
When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 player, except yourself. At the start of the next day, I will tell you the name of that person's ability (for example, this ability is called Snoop Around). If the player has more than 1 ability, you will learn one at random. If you choose the same person more than once, you will learn a different ability each time.

Ability : Police Force
Use : Always on.
You have a police force that you can communicate with at will (mason group). Their names will be given to you in a separate PM.

Win condition: All threats to Dusty Gulch removed

On the other end of town, someone else was suffering from insomnia. He kept hearing noises outside his window, and a meow jolted him awake. Looking around feverishly, he looked out his window and noticed someone knocking on his door.
"They're coming for me!" he hissed, in a panicky sweat. He reached under his pillow, pulled out his rifle, and shot the man on the doorstep, killing him - it was Argetlam.

Argetlam was:

The Bartender
Alignment: Dusty Gulch

Everyone knows you. You're the bartender, one of the friendliest guys in town. You help to run the saloon and keep everything running smoothly. And, of course, every now and then you serve up a beer to whoever wants one.

Ability : Friendly Banter
Use : Once per night.
When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 player, except yourself. Three nights later, at the start of that night, you will be told that player's alignment. At that point, that person becomes a "regular" at the saloon. You may have multiple regulars. (This is explained in the next ability.) There is also a town drunk, who is automatically one of your regulars from the start of the game. (His alignment is "Dusty Gulch", and his name will be sent to you in a separate PM.)

Ability : Regular
Use : Once per night.
When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 player who is a regular at your saloon. Then, based on that player's alignment, you can choose apply the appropriate effect.
  • If that player is aligned with Dusty Gulch, that player's lynch vote counts as 2 during the next day.
  • If that player has an alignment that isn't Dusty Gulch, and you vote for that player, your vote counts as 2 during the next day.

Win condition: All threats to Dusty Gulch removed

Meanwhile, Bippa, now finally succumbing to the disease that ravaged his body, died that very morning.

Bippa was:

The Desperado
Alignment: Dusty Gulch

You're one of the guys with the local police force - the desperado. Although you definitely have the best interests at heart, your methods are a little...unorthodox. You want to drag evildoers out into the light of day and have them beg for mercy while you administer your special brand of justice.

Ability : One-Shot Wonder
Use : Once per game.
When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 player, except yourself. At the start of the next day, that player will die.

Win condition: All threats to Dusty Gulch removed

ComfortEagle was also lying in bed with the same disease. He was still alive, but barely - one more day at most and he was bedridden. Hopefully he would be the last in the string of victims of this strange ailment, but who could say for sure?

Three people dead in one night - all of them innocent. Not good.

It sounds like there is only one wolf left. It might really be time to get TheGuy now or it could get dangerous. Even tonight there were three deaths so we don't know what surprises await us - especially because we might fail to kill TheGuy and then there might be another kill-rich night. Also TDL might die next night so that already makes (probably) two deaths at a minimum (= only 9 people left by day 10...).

Ok, you have made it weaker, but it's still the "godfather" ability I said is just unfair. .___. At least we got rid of it, so no harm done. But still...
On the other hand, HypnoticLuxray's ability can scout through that so I guess it's ok.

This Regular thing confuses me. Wasn't Argetlam's ROLE supposed to be Regular? Not his ability?

So we have two choices today; try and get the wolf, or get Guy. I am going to vote for Guy later today, and I explain why below.

Guy wins in final 7, right? So wolves kill one tonight, TDL dies tonight, that's 10 left (So we have 2 days to get guy = 75% we can kill him in two days, 88% we get him in 3.)

Also, since I am able to tell when a night role has been used three times, after two more nights happen I will be able to deduce who got the new wolf killing role.

Seer, I know who you are and who you seer'ed last night. I advise you to continue to seer that person in the future (Because I can find the wolf in two nights anyways). The second part of my role allowed me to become informed of one of that player's roles, and if you continue to seer them he/she will be able to kill any wolf that also tries to kill them on that same night. (If two or more people target him, he can choose one of them to kill [I assume that is why Argetlam died])

Seer, If you understand this, please begin the third word in your post with the first letter of the person that you seer'ed last night. Otherwise I will be more clear when explaining it a second time.
