RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 5 ends May 3rd at 10PM EST)

There the crew sat at the bridge, confused and, for a select few, in a groggy daze. Some of them felt like they were being watched for the last couple of nights by some unseen and sinister being. Some of them had a faint picture of a tall, dark figure, haunting their memories. It was like... It was like it didn't have a face...

"Someone -- or rather, something -- visited me last night... I... I don't think... It was like he was watching me, but with no eyes. Like he had no face..." one man said, clinging tightly to his phaser nervously.

A cringe went over Dark Void's face. Had they noticed him? They couldn't have known it was him; he was out of his disguise at the time. He was safe... He hoped.

"What kind of freak has no face!?" another man exclaimed.

Another cringe. He hated the general assumption that he didn't have a face. Dark Void swore, if he came across Victor Surge...

"I know! The same thing happened to me! Someone who has no face? Idiotic." another man said.

"For the last time, I have a face!!" Dark Void suddenly cried out.

Everyone stared at him. He was tall, clothed in black instead of the usual attire, accented by his albino-white skin. He was a Bolian, meaning he had no hair to speak of.

Dark Void stood there, paralyzed. What had he done? He just sealed his own fate! The crew was staring, but for completely different reasons. The two stood at opposite ends of the room, staring at each other.

"Oh my gosh... It's the Slender Man!!" one especially history-tuned man said, reaching in his pocket.

Dark Void prepared for phaser fire, bracing himself, only to have himself pelted by what seemed to be green cloth. Lowering his hands, Dark Void realized that this wasn't just green cloth, it was money. Twenty dollar bills, at that. This only seemed to infuriate the Bolian, knowing full well that he was not who they said he was; he was much worse.

Transforming from a Bolian to a large, three legged alien, Dark Void was revealed to be an Undine! And in an instant, the crew stopped throwing money and grabbed their phasers from their hips, brandishing them.

"Wow, you're almost as ugly as your boss. Give it up, we have you cornered." a voice came from the left of Dark Void. It was the captain.

"'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder', isn't that one of your old sayings?" Dark Void replied, turning to face the captain, who was resting his arms on the bar behind the center chair.

"Depends what you consider old."

"Perhaps."

"Either way, you're outta luck. There's nothing you can do."

"I don't have to do anything. Tell me; have you been keeping an eye on your crew?"

Clemmins turned to see the entire assembled crew brandishing their weapons at Clemmins instead of Dark Void. The captain couldn't believe what he was seeing; take the most dedicated crew in Starfleet and you still wouldn't get the devotion these people had to each other and the captain. It was just... Insane. What was wrong with them?

"Guys?" the captain began, taking a quick glance to make sure Dark Void was still in the same place, which he was.

Without warning, blue beams of light leaped from the barrel of the crew's phasers and soared towards the captain. Acting fast after the first two beams buzzed by his face, Clemmins ducked behind the console, taking cover from the rest of them.

"They are under my command now, captain." the Undine spat out the last word, as if a bad taste was in his... Mouth... Thing.

This gave Clemmins an idea. Lurching forward, the captain rolled from console to console, paying no mind to the insults hurled by the Undine in it's own language. Out of the cover of the console, Clemmins leaped forward and grabbed hold of the slender Undine and grabbed hold of his back.

"I don't think you'd kill yourself, would ya?" the captain said, pulling his phaser out and jamming it into the neck of the larger alien.

As the Undine stiffened, the people under the Unidne's control seemed to stiffen as well.

"Now, my friend, you need to answer some questions. Who and what are your friend's disguises? Answer me!!" Clemmins bellowed into the shallow indentation on Dark Void's head, presumably his ear.

Twitching, Dark Void made a split second decision. He knew what he signed on for when he joined Ulginesh, and he knew it may come to this. Twitching slightly with his fingers. The Undine sent out a collective psychic signal to the crew to focus their fire on him.

"For... The Empire!" Dark Void bellowed, just before the lasers struck him and almost in an instant, he was gone.

Slenden

Alligence: Undine Empire

You are a rather slender Undine named Slenden. You are the most noticably... Well, creepy of Ulginesh's group. You like to stay in the dark all of the time, you speak in slow, dry sentences and you have the bad habit of constantly fidgeting with your fingers. This makes you perfect for spying on others. This also makes being friends with anyone impossible. Good thing you can disguise yourself. Contrare to popular belief, you don't kidnap people, you do have a face and you would never wear any sort of suit. You have disguised yourself as Zankor, an albino Bolian.

Ability 0: Stalk

Once during the night, you may PM the name of one living player. You will learn one of his abilities at random.

Ability 1: Proxy

Once per night phase, you may PM me the name of a living player, and another in bold. The former player's vote will be for the bolded player, even if the former votes for another person.

Ability 2: Telepathy

You may communicate with your Undine allies. There is a chance you may get your own sub-forum, but don't count on it. You may communicate through PM, but messages must be sent to all members of the Undine and me. I have to archive this, you know.

Win Condition: You survive until all other factions have been neutralized.

"NO! Dangit!" the captain howled, feeling the ashes of Dark Void falling through his fingers.

The crew collapsed, unconscious for a brief moment and almost as soon as they fell, they caught themselves and stood back up. It was some time later when Gareb, the CMO, came to and gave everyone a quick once-over with his eye for medical deficiencies. He told them to get back to their quarters and get some rest, for their mental health would be at the verge of breaking if anything else stressed them out too much.

On their way back, however, there was a rather big surprise. The body of The Yoshi, except from the silver blood pouring out of his chest. He suddenly changed before their eyes to become... Ulginesh!

The captain knelt down and grinned with a mocking glare, but it disappeared when the third arm of Ulginesh grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him close.

"G... Gorsha...! Different... Plans... Much... Worse... Disguised as-" then, the Undine died. It would be one thing to say the light faded from his eyes, but then again... There was no light to begin with.

Yoshi was:

Ulginesh

Alligence: Undine Empire

You are Ulginesh, the Commander of the Undine who wiped out the crew of the U.S.S. Gorganzola. Currently, you are disguised as the late Commander Travis Garfield. You killed him yourself, but not before making his memories your own. Now you are the perfect copy, and you are also the closest person to the Captain. No one but you and your small company know why you have eliminated the engine capabilities to the Gorganzola and sent a distress signal; It is to gain the much more powerful ship coming to help. But first, the crew must die.

Ability 0: This fool has use yet!

You cannot use the ability "Kill Him" on the Captain (His name will be sent to you in a seperate PM) until Night 5.

[UNLOCKED WHEN CHOSEN BY THE CAPTAIN] Ability 1: Captain, a word.

You are in a Mason group with the Captain of the Farstar for the next three days, whose name will be messaged to you in a seperate PM. The two of you may speak to each other at any time via PM.

Ability 2: Kill him.

Once during the night, you may PM me the name of an Undine and another player. The Undine you have chosen will go out and kill the other player you have chosen. This player may even be an Undine, but you must specify who you want to be killed and who you want to have killed.

Ability 3: Telepathy

You may communicate with your Undine allies. There is a chance you may get your own sub-forum, but don't count on it. You may communicate through PM, but messages must be sent to all members of the Undine and me. I have to archive this, you know.

Win Condition: You survive until all other factions have been neutralized.

"Well then... That changes things, doesn't it?" Clemmins stated the obvious, standing up and gazing down at the Undine, not sure what to think of him.

_____

"Ulginesh is dead." one voice said.

"I know." another said, and if it was in person, it would be through a frown.

"Shut up, both of you. Ulginesh was weak. He could not see the beauty of our Empire through his web of devotion to a lost cause. I, Gorsha, am now your leader. If you have a problem with that... Then you shall suffer the same fate..." Gorsha replied with his own telepathy.

The two of them could not argue with that.

"All hail Gorsha!"

Night 5 begins now and ends @ 10:00 PM May 4th

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 5 ends May 3rd at 10PM EST)

Just to clarify, Yoshi's death was a modkill.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Night 5 ends May 4th at 10PM EST)

A shadowy hulk of metal and a Starfleet Transporter operator walk into a transporter room. It sounded like a bad joke, but this time, it was actually happening. The shadowy being had already been trying to talk one Blui, otherwise known as Water McDurin, into doing something he'd rather not do.

"No, I'm serious, it's fine! We can get us both out of this! We can do what I said we could do, eh?" the shadowy hulk of metal said, kneeling down and giving Walter a good shake because he was beginning to fall asleep again.

Out of a snore, Walter looked up with groggy eyes and squinted at the bright light that was obscuring this being's face.

"I dunno, man... I just can't," Blui paused to yawn openly, "I just can't leave these guys... They're family..."

Frowning, the mass of metal squinted it's blue optics behind it's visor and leaned in close to Walter, who was starting to get a little scared.

"Are you sure you want to say no to that...? I don't think you'd want to back out now..."

"Why? That sounds like a threat."

"It was."

Walter felt a pang of fear course through his body. There was an emergency terminal off to his left with a button that calls security... If only he could reach it! Bravery bubbling up through the fear that was washing over his body, Walter made a break for the terminal and jammed his fist through the glass covering the emergency button, slicing up his hand, but managing to press the large, red button. As Red Alert sirens blared, the being grabbed Walter by his feet in one hand and slammed him down upon the transporter pad. With his other hand, the hulk of metal threw the switch on the console controlling the transporter.

"Don't do it! Don't do something you're going to regret!" Walter cried, feeling atoms in his body begin to be removed and transferred to another place entirely, save his feet, since the being was holding onto them.

"Scrap, would you be quiet? You'll burst my audio receptors!" the mass of metal used his free hand to rub against the side of his head.

And suddenly, Blui was gone, save two smoking shoes with a surprise inside for anyone wanting to put them on. But Blui met a worse fate than the discoverers of his shoes, he met nothingness. No pressure, no warmth, no air, no gravity. Icicles grew over Walter's face as he tried to scream, but ice merely clogged up his throat and there was no air for sound to be heard. Suddenly, Blui felt a burning feeling spread all through his body, then he went into cardiac arrest for a moment, then, nothing at all...

Blui was: said:
Walter McDerin

Alligence: Starfleet

You are Walter McDerin, the Farstar's Transporter Cheif. You skillfully operate the Transporter at the Captain's whim without delay or doubt. Recently, though, you have learned of the addition of the Undine to the crew. Needless to say, you are probably going to beam someone out into space if you learn of someone's guilt. But that is because the crew is family to you, and you would sooner protect someone than kill them. Unfortunately, you have to get some sleep, too, so you are usually groggy.

Ability 0: Transporter

Once during the night phase, you may PM me the name of a player. You will beam that player into a safe place where the Undine will not be able to find him for the night. Put simply, that player will not be able to be targeted with any killing role for the night. You beam that player back in the morning.

Ability 1: Sleepy

You cannot use any abilities on even numbered nights.

Win Condition: You survive until all threats have been removed.

Night 5 continues

Just a quick reminder to get in your roles!

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Night 5 ends May 4th at 10PM EST)

@Machamp: I know you aren't a girl. Your character is, though. Make of that what you will...

_____

It was in the middle of the night. Suri Boheeva was walking alone, grumbling to herself about today's happenings. She had been sensing more than just the usual overwhelming fear and confusion... It was something sinister, yet satisfaction at the same time. That same feeling was encroaching on her still, after she had gone back to her quarters. Of course, a complainer's job is never done, and Suri, also known as Machamp the Champion, was heading back from her recent complaint. It was the usual complaints, of course. But this time she had struck out; the person Machamp went to wasn't home, leaving the complaints fruitless for the night. Of course, that was excessively odd, considering the fact that no one was supposed to leave their quarters at night if they knew what was best for them.

A sudden creak of the floor behind her and a silent hiss.

"Who's there?" Suri commanded, feeling quite uneasy with the emotions she was getting.

She knew she was being watched... But there was no one there. No one except for the lingering feel of... Anticipation, excitement and most worrying of all, disgust.

If I can get to the captain, maybe he'll back off! the champion of machamps thought, walking at a quickened pace through the hallway.

She felt panicked, like someone was jamming a knife to her back and pressing it, just hard enough to quicken her pace further, which she did. Suri was now at a dead run, dashing down the hallway. Turning a corner, she made for the bridge, and along with it, the Captain's Quarters. Dashing into the bridge, Machamp caught herself on the railing overlooking the rest of the darkened bridge. Turning back, she saw a dark shadow dart from one side of the doorway to the other. Scared, the Betazoid ran forward and reached for the control panel, only to have her hair grabbed from behind and a milky white hand cover her mouth so she couldn't scream, even with her best attempts.

A hot, stinging pain flared through her stomach as a glowing knife was suddenly thrust from another hand coming from behind. A twist of the sky-blue blade, and... Nothing... Not a single pain in the world...

Machamp the Champion was:

Suri Boheeva

Alligence: Starfleet

You are Suri Boheeva, a Betazoid. You enlisted in Starfleet to seek out new and bizzarre life-formes in the far reaches of space. But instead, you got posted at a boring job on a Constitution Class vessel. Not even a Science vessel! You have constantly mouthed off your want to be on a Science vessel, not some work-horse. Like all Betazoids, you have the ability to read minds. Sometimes it is simple emotions such as happiness or sadness, but you are growing your skills to read thoughts or strong telepathy.

Ability 0: Mind Reader

You have managed to hone your skills as a mind-reader, and you are shocked to have found that you can read the minds of the crew, including the Undine! You may PM me the name of a player, and there is a 30% chance that you will learn of one of their abilities chosen at random.

Ability 1: "Carla the Complainer says..."

Since you are a wonderful social butterfly, you must PM me the name of a living player and a ten-word sentence detailing a complaint about something. You may not detail anything about your findings of Mind Reader, nor can you reference the fact you have such ability. You must do this, otherwise you will be either replaced or modkilled. Your name will not be revealed to the person you sent the message to.

Win Condition: You survive until all threats are removed.

*****

That morning, captain Roger Clemmins exited his room, usual captain green attire on and cup of black coffee in-hand. In his hand, that is, until he saw Machamp the Champion's body, lying in the captain's chair in a slump. Suri Boheeva was dead. The shock caused Clemmins to drop his coffee cup, shattering the mug on the ground. Clemmins was used to death, but to think that the killer was outside of his very home, to think that during the night, Machamp the Champion could have very well been him... Was disturbing to say the least.

The thing was, he still felt like he was being watched. Like this was some sort of scare antics and that his reaction was being gauged. It was a sickening feeling. Without looking away for a single moment, Clemmins thrust his fist into the comm on the wall.

"Security. Get up here... Now."

Day 6 begins now and ends on the 12th of May, 10:00 PM EST! 9 votes required for a lynch!

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

Slightly random but potentially relevant question: Do you think the one who wasn't in their "home" was a wolf?

Flavor doesn't matter. It's just flavor. On the topic of this day well here:
Vote: Bo$$_89

I believe I already explained my reasons.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

If you guys think bo$$ is suspicious, that's fine by me. But could you please wait until something happens with the teddy bear? I don't want my role, whatever it may be, to go to waste.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

Well, here we go... Vote: RogueChomp

His posts have been relatively unhelpful all game, mainly either going along with whatever everyone else is doing or pressing for a pointless Astra lynch. That alone isn't enough, but then there was day 5. Despite claiming that DV was the most suspicious player (which could have easily been a cover up), he didn't actually vote for DV until the lynch was inevitable. This, as we all know, is a common wolf move, in an attempt to fit in with the town. Also, this was his post:

RogueChomp said:

Plus I think its inevitable at this point... Voting for wolf once the lynch is inevitable anyway? Very wolfish.

I could be wrong, and I'm probably screwed if I am, but I do believe RogueChomp is a wolf.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

Not really. Think about it. Dark void had like ten votes against him. The chance of anybody else being lynched was near impossible which is why I posted that. And if you remember,i pressured the lynch in the first place.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

You pressed for more information at first, then completely stopped when he posted this:

Dark Void said:
RogueChomp said:
But out of those people, you were roleblocked. And no wolf kill went through.

I don't see how this matters. If the alpha wolf is one of the other 8 inactives then there would be no kill regardless of me being roleblocked.

Your only response was "True."

Not another word about it, until you suddenly voted when the lynch was inevitable.

Now that you mention it you are pretty scummy. Let me outline a few:
1) You say you pressured DV, however you didn't back it up with a vote. That is pretty scummy.
2) You can't really pressure someone without a vote. (I think I already went over this)
3) Your posts don't really help the town. Your posts contain information we already know. You are really just bandwagoning.

All in all I still this Bo$$ is more suspicious right now. I will be keeping an eye on you though.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

Not voting immediately, isn't scummy, just shows how some people don't have the (wrong) manner of instantly voting whenever they have the chance. If you noticed, I didn't vote immediately either. And no, you're wrong if you believe that someone isn't pressurized without a vote. 'Cos you're gonna feel pressurized right now. Know why? I suspect you. I don't like the way you're going after Bo$$, you now also pressure Rogue, and you fulfill the most important (in my opinion) of the wolf criteria you presented. You are not helpful, you just repeat what others have said before you, throwing suspicions around.

Yes it is. We town can easily switch around our votes. We don't worry about it or withhold it. Scum however tends to not vote for people. Why would town not vote for someone they find to be scummy? Now answer me Chillbill: Why do you think hunting multiple people to see if they are scummy is scummy? It is called scum hunting. You also say that I'm not helpful. I suggest looking at my posts instead of making an assumption based off me agreeing with someone..

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

My phone mislead me and made me think I never posted, disregard that.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

Also Chillbill, why do you think Bo$$ is town? You think I'm scum because I placed a vote on him. Bo$$ defended DV who turned out to be a wolf. Why would town defend someone that strongly? I'm ok with defending someone but what Bo$$ did was act like there was no chance at all that he was a wolf.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

No, chill bill thinks your scum because you pressure votes on people often.

The reason that I stopped pressuring the dv lynch until it was inevitable was because I didn't want to be accused of over pressuring somebody. I simply wanted to see what dark void was up to, and hey, look at that, I was right about him.

RE: Werewolf XV II: The Final Frontier (Day 6 ends May 13th at 10PM EST)

@camoclone, having a different playstyle than other people by no mean of the thumb makes anyone scummy. You can't attach voting often to townies, and voting rarely to scum. One game I played, I didn't make a single vote until Day 9, and I was a townie. I tend to not vote for a person unless I'm sure of their conviction. I've never been a wolf in any main series game. I played about 8. This 'scumhunting' tactic which you seem so fond of, didn't come around to Pokebeach until quite recently; I think Teal introduced it. In my experience, it doesn't work and those who are so eager over it always strike me as foolish. For example, you look like a complete loose cannon to me, and I doubt you'll get anywhere. That doesn't make you scummy. It doesn't make me scummy. It's just different tactics.

That logic still doesn't make sense. Pressuring people is how you find scum. Does he not want us to find scum?

So you stopped the DV pressure so you didn't get lynched. Seems like a scummy tactic not wanting to get lynched.

How do you know what ChillBill means? Could it be through wolf chat?

You guys are digging yourselves a hole.
