RE: Werewolf XVI: A New Melee. Day 1 ends March 30 at 8 PM CST.

We don't have to worry about Wolfs getting power roles from townies.
Huh, odd. I didn't see that when I read his post. I must have missed on it. Thanks for that. I guess I don't have to worry. Although, re-arranging roles in any context is a little bit risky, since some players may end up with a completely different - and potentially useless - role. I might retract my vote, but for now, I'm holding on to it. Astra is acting as slippery as he was last game and it does not bode well.

I have a question; In past Werewolf games, did the win condition have a period at the end of it?
No.

Luckyfire-The fact that he is trying to use that fact that he's lynchproof(which I believe) somehow validates him as some sort of clear makes me suspicious of him.But il leave him be for now.

Man what's wrong with people. I'm a girl.

Also, back on topic: I respect Astra because he can switch roles, and if he does, then I'll get a more powerful ability, since mine right now sucks. Also because he revealed his role PM and Final Smash. I'm not sure about Yoshi being a jailkeeper (but not indie), but I'm with the Final Smash. Seems legit.

So people aren't voting me? Aw, I wanted to test whether I really was lynchproof or not. Oh, well, worth a try. :p

Do you want to be lynched?

RE: Werewolf XVI: A New Melee. Day 1 ends March 30 at 8 PM CST.

No, unless I had a secret indie get-lynched win con. Which I do not.

Woah. A lot happened since I last checked this thread.

Astra's flavor text seems to indicate that he is an indie. In addiiton, he claims that he left a role out of his role reveal and left out his final smash as well...but then revealed the latter when prompted? Maybe because he needed more time to revise his final smash? The final smash doesn't initially seem like something that would need hiding-it doesn't really benefit either the wolves or town very much (and it could hurt or help either, depending on the skill of the player who gets the good roles) which is odd for two reasons. One because its a supposedly town smash that doesn't directly help the town at all and may hurt it. Two because since this final smash is so mediocre, Astra should have no reason to cut it out of his role reveal. Also, priest role is a rather obvious one to claim if you don't want to be lynched because its generally considered a "power role". also has a period at the end of his win con, obv scum or indie I consider him very suspicious.

I recall the first ww game that cornbread played in. He played the noob role exceedingly well, getting seer and dropping hints so subtle that the wolves never noticed. Unfortunately, they were so subtle that even after he died and was revealed to be seer no townies went through his posts and went, "OH HEY SEER THOUGHT THIS GUY WAS SCUM, MAYBE HE WAS RIGHT?" What I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't underestimate cornbread just because his spelling and grammar are atrocious and he looks like he's new to this. I can understand the though behind his "rules", and perhaps he posted them without properly considering who would actually benefit from them...but as I said before, I think cornbread tries to make people think he's worse than he is. I don't think its worth using our lynch on him when we have other options though, but he's still suspicious imo.

Luckyfire has gotten a little less suspicious in my mind, if only because there are now better choices to lynch. She is still somewhat suspicious to me, but honestly that flavor text radiates the distinct writing style of PMJ and doesn't look anything like what Luckyfire would write. Still better than a No Lynch because we get to see if she told the truth about her role, but imo we can do a lot better than No Lynch now.

I'm not sure why anyone else has been voted for, and for the most part they haven't been. Based on the reasons in this post, it is my opinion that Astra is our best lynch for the day.

Vote: Astra

I do love getting to vote in excessively obnoxious colors that hurt even my eyes.

RE: Werewolf XVI: A New Melee. Day 1 ends March 30 at 8 PM CST.

I'm going to vote for corn bread, not just because of his stupid rules, but the fact that after people started voting for him, instead of defending himself he tried to push the attention onto others (like boss). In my eyes, that is quite wolf-like behaviour.
As for Astra, I believe that he is probably an indie, but he can offer us protection. If we have no one better to vote off tomorrow, I suggest we go for him due to his anti-town role.

Vote: corn bread

You know, the whole reason I said you don't have to type in colors anymore is because I thought I'd be nice, but if you guys are going to take advantage of my kindness, I can just as easily go back to making you type in red/blue.

RE: Werewolf XVI: A New Melee. Day 1 ends March 30 at 8 PM CST.

Anyway guys I have to go to rehearsal so I won't be here to end the day. Day 1 ends at 8 PM CST (three and a half hours after the time of this post) regardless of whether either of us is here to officially end the day. Once that time passes, it's game freeze and everyone should stop posting.

Do not submit night actions until the night is officially started by either Blah or myself. And remember, this is an odd-numbered night, so you will be submitting your night actions to me tonight.

Ok, you've convinced me lol. At least on that bolded part. It makes a lot of sense that he had little reason to hide it and only when asked, provided it. There's just no easy reasoning behind that. Time is running out and I think we should focus on Astra at the very least even though I'm not completely convinced of him or Luckyfire. I'm not sure if I really believe the bluff that Astra won't get lynched either (and even if he won't, all the more reason to go after him in the Night IMO because that means he will have lied about his role).

UNVOTE Luckyfire
VOTE Astra

dmaster out.

RE: Werewolf XVI: A New Melee. Day 1 ends March 30 at 8 PM CST.

We've got less than an hour and we are long from a lynch (around 9 votes). It seems that the lynch is tied.

RE: Werewolf XVI: A New Melee. Day 1 ends March 30 at 8 PM CST.

Who hasn't voted yet? These people need to make their decision because a no-lynch would leave us with not enough information after Day 1.

RE: Werewolf XVI: A New Melee. Day 1 ends March 30 at 8 PM CST.

For the sake of not getting a no lynch.
