RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

UNVOTE: Glace

The only way for Glace to be scum is if he is tracker. I believe him for now. PMJ seems suspicious as he wanted cop to claim with what was Glace's role. Now outed Glace when he knew that he followed him (has a PR and he could use his ability so he isn't scum).

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

Missed the vote.

VOTE: PMJ

If PMJ is maf tracker, Glace is conf as town as the only role he could have (to be scum) was maf tracker.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

Glace could still be mafia tracker and just claim doctor since I didn't die (which is irrelevant because there were three kills last night; one from each faction and the vigilante kill), so all he has to do is hope no one cc's him and he's gold. He could also be Hider.

I am regular tracker. I figured that confirming what Glace said about targeting me last night would be enough to convince you idiots but I guess not.

UNVOTE: Glace

At this point it is unlikely--but not impossible--that Glace is scum.

I initially hid the fact that Glace targeted me in order to see if he would lie about what he did last night, just like he lied about his role.

will post more after I get home from work if you morons haven't lynched me by then.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

I'm probably not going to post much during this week, because I'm away from home, and the internet sucks here.

From the looks of it, Glace is telling the truth, and PMJ is Mafia Tracker. He claimed town-aligned tracker, which there is only one of, which is such a huge risk. But, since PMJ said he really didn't like this game very much, so I wouldn't be surprised if PMJ just wanted to take that risk, and maybe go all the way with it. If he really is Tracker, he may end up revealing another power role, and I'd be fine with lynching him.

VOTE: <PMJ>

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

I suggest we wait until PMJ posts more before we do anything. Still undecided who to vote for, but I'm not going to do no vote.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

I'm not too sure why Glacé would protect PMJ, since he's constantly accusing him, at least until his most recent post.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

Yesterday I thought he was a townie...

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

Cmon PMJ stop working and post the rest of your defense :p

How do you know Glace is telling the truth? The evidence supporting his claim of doctor is circumstantial because all three kills that were supposed to happen happened. He claims he protected me, which might very well be true, but there is no way to tell at this point in the game. That said, after taking a closer look at the possible roles, it is improbable--but not impossible--that Glace is scum. I said that in my last post.

Consider this. I claimed tracker and no one has counterclaimed me. That should be a pretty good bet that I'm telling the truth.

If I were mafia tracker, it would do no good for me to claim town tracker because then the real town tracker could cc me. I would probably be lynched first, since I had a bad attitude about this game at the beginning. I get lynched, flip mafia tracker, and then the real tracker would probably die next night. But it is always in the interest of the town to trade 1-for-1 with scum, so it's a worthy sacrifice.

However, it does not work in reverse. Let's say I was cc'd and then lynched. I flip town tracker. My counterclaim is boned and guaranteed lynched because he is obviously mafia tracker. It is definitely NOT in the scum's best interest to trade 1-for-1 with town, so the fact that I remain uncc'd at this point should be a huge sign that I am not lying about being town tracker.

My issue is with SheNinja, not the game. As I said previously, if I really didn't want to play this game, I would ask to be subbed out. I stayed in because I like playing mafia.

This part isn't entirely accurate. I never accused Glace of anything until he lied about his role.

Not really used to playing strict mafia where not everyone has a power role, lol.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

Uhm, could someone tell me what's cc?

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

Cc= Short for counterclaim, I'm pretty sure

The only real I have with PMJ's argument is that someone may not want to counterclaim because scum will get them.

cc does mean counterclaim

Also, like I said before, it is always in the town's best interest to lynch all counterclaims if the initial claim flips scum. Town can afford to lose a player if it means losing a scum too. Scum does not have this luxury and must be careful to conserve their numbers.

The difference here is no one has counterclaimed me, so when you guys inevitably lynch me the town will lose their tracker and I will just laugh and laugh.

You must remember all roles are not used.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

That is true, but consider this: everyone who has made a claim has claimed VT, and I am pretty sure all of them were liars.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

^ I am also including the time before the roles were redistributed.

Also a big reason I claimed was the fact that I drew the same role I got last time. I mean, seriously, what are the odds?

Claiming without pressure is scummy.

Claiming without pressure is scummy.

Specially if you claim town.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

Then let's start pressuring everyone who claimed (and lied about having) VT before the roles were reshuffled.

That's unimportant. Let's focus on the present.

RE: Werewolf XVII II: The Greatest Idea (Day 2) (D/L 6/26)

Curious, PMJ, why would pressuring the past be relevant to the present?
