HMM, DOES ANYONE ELSE FIND IT STRANGE THAT KIRK AND SPOCK ARE IN THE SAME GAME, BUT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER? THAT SEEMS A LITTLE FISHY.

Frankly, I blame inactives. They have lost the town the last 2 main games, and also the last spin-off (pretty much). I think hosts should make it a bigger thing that inactives should NOT play games unless they think they can play the ENTIRE game. Or at least let the host know when if they have to drop out ahead of time. (like sillykyle did in this game... or was that a different one?) Or maybe encourage more replacements, and replace them more. I don't know. It just seems stupid that so many people sign up, don't post, and ultimately lose there side the game.

*sigh. Anyway, rant over. GG everyone. Let's hope I'm finally a wolf or indie next time. :D ... maybe?

the sensor role is the most absurdly broken role in the history of werewolf. now you guys know why. jesus.

What was the sensor role again? I couldn't find anyone that had that role.

Oh wow I thought for sure that DNA was mafia. Stop being so scummy, DNA :p

I didn't really tag on to PMJ but I cringed at flygon's lynch and thought that flygon was village, so i probably should've added it together to find out that PMJ was mafia. Ah well!

I would've liked everybody to target Shocker more often. I believe I made a post about him Day 1, and nobody responded or pressured him since then :/

Good game, cringe-worthy at times.

Sensor is a mafia role which can be used once per game. it tells the user how many people on the previous day's wagon are anti-town. it's broken because, as was mentioned, as soon as all the scum are found, everyone else is automatically clear. it goes against the spirit of the game and turns it into a witch hunt untill all the scum are found. I seriously thought I was instantly dead. If more of the town was active, I might have been.

future hosts: dont use jester. dont use sensor. you cant balance them. stop trying. I couldnt. you sure as hell cant. thanks.

The role PMJ is referring to will show you once a game how many players on the previous day's lynch wagon were wolves.

And yeah, it's broken and I would discourage it's use in the future if it's not heavily nerfed, but it's not as bad as PMJ keeps making it out to be.

EDIT: Ninja'ed :p

Ok, so I'm pretty sure no one on PB is going to ever trust me in any WW game ever ever again. A wolf in all three of my first games here? It's a gift and a curse, I'm telling you.

But regardless, I had a ton of fun. Granted, I didn't have much I could do ability wise, since I was a safeclaim-generating godfather, but my ability did come in handy to help PMJ create his fake claim. The three characters I received that were not in the game were Captain Kirk, Steve (the Minecraft guy), and Megaman. My one comment about "being really excited because I got my favorite character" was in case I had to claim at one point, and I would have used Steve. I had a whole fake role in mind, with a 2-shot self-protect ability called Unaccompanied Miner, but I never had to use it, although I can't say that's a bad thing!

And you know, I had completely forgotten about the mind probe thing! I was so fixated on Kecleon-X's indie role that I forgot about there being a second one out there.

And DNA, thanks for giving us the wagon we needed to win. Always go for the confirmed scum. Always. :3

Oh please, PMJ, I don't edit Wikipedia pages and cosplay at ComicCon. Don't be silly! (I would probably cosplay if I went, though :p)

I am still raging over Gordon Freeman's role, though. He is not, and never will be a tracker. He is a theoretical physicist and a total coolguy when it comes to crowbars. I would have probably said, like, "Alyx's Guidance" or something of the sort if I wanted to keep him a tracker.

If you want to rage about roles, be co-mod in the next game and take it over.

Hey, what was Haunted Water's hidden ability? (http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/thread-game-werewolf-xvii-universe-game-over-antagonists-win?pid=2507109#pid2507109) Or are you going to keep it a secret forever?

Sensor is terribly overpowered. allow me to demonstrate.

30 players. Six scum. day 1 it's 16 to lynch. assume all six are on the wagon and it gets sensored. logic says no more than 1/4 are scum so you just cleared fourteen players on d1. that is an extreme example yes but consider that if you have to heavily nerf it to use then you probably shouldnt use it.

it doesnt matter how you nerf it. getting a list of players and saying x out of these guys are scum is uber. town happened to keep guessing wrong and that is why they lost. if I had been lynched first then the town would have won four clears without having to work for it.

doesnt matter how big the list is or how few scum there ar on it. once you find them all, everyone else on the list is automatically cleared. and that's why it's broken.

The fact that I almost lost that game for the wolves by posting in here when I was supposed to post in the wolf thread still annoys me a bit. For all of those that didn't see it before I deleted it 10 minutes afterwards they can see it whenever the wolf forum is revealed in Phase 7's thread.

I must say that we clearly dominated this game with having five of us survive. That's gotta be one of the best wolf teams ever.

Definitely. and we lost astra to...who knows

So...the town had a Tracker who couldn't find wolf kills, a seer who could only actually seer every other night, no other notable power roles aside from the sensor (which was way worse since it couldn't be used pre-night 3), and the wolves had 1.5 nightkills (thanks to GLaDOS), plus a roleblocker. Seems legit.

I still don't get why everyone voted for Flygon due to suspicious day posts (which I've yet to find) when they had a 50/50 shot of hitting a wolf by following the PMJ/DNA line.

They had 1 and a half seers (mdl) and a seer mason. (camoclone) The town had everything they needed to win, they were just inative, and some played poorly. I'll elaborate more when I get to the postgame writeup.

No... My role was definitely not a mason. I was a confused robot who had ADHD and loved Darth Vader.

Not in the literal sense. However MDL could privately relay his findings each day to you.

Well, at least I was right about the MYLO thing.

I don't care; I'm still alive. I checked it off my bucket list.
Never happening again, but I don't care.
