No... Lurking in the shadows isn't playing a game. Werewolf is a game and therefore you should contribute. Next game that you lurk I will personally push your lynch myself. It is about time that you learned that lurking is just not a good strategy. Also not getting lynched isn't the most important thing in werewolf.

It was a strategy. The whole game, how much suspicion did I have on me? None? Right. It obviously worked.

Not that I can prove it, but I was pretty sure you were scum at the end. But, y'know, I was dead.

Gotta love that two-for-one neurotoxin special.

Okay, who wants to place bets on something next game that I'll never be able to do again?

I thought you meant something that has happened, that won't happen next game. Sorry about that.
I don't know about next game since we have no idea what the theme is.

What you did in WW XIV: you'll never be able to replicate that.

Since I can't be bothered reading 80 pages of text, to find one thing... I'll ask.
What did he do?

Was it the game where he was outed-- wait, he could do that again... Hm....

In WW XIV, there was a shooter role (every night, kill a person) which Teapot had. One night DNA got shot, and then he says in the chat, 'teapot, avenge me' (before finding out it was teapot ofc).

Well, Astra is next in line to host, but if he doesn't respond soon, then I'll be taking over for him. I don't know anything about Astra's theme, but the name of mine is Werewolf XVIII: Seleno City. It's got a big city theme, as you can pobably infer from the title, and items will be making a comeback as well!

And yeah, the DNA/Teapot thing is pretty funny, I remember reading about that. I'm sure DNA will manage to find something though.

Sorry guys. I've been really busy with Uni classes so I've been unable to finalize the game.

Will hopefully be starting Saturday if everything goes according to plan.

Alright, I'm glad to hear that, since I'll have more time to finalize my game, which is good. Looking forward to seeing it Astra!

I'm pretty sure that you were the first target of PMJ's Neurotoxin ability. That's why your posts were being restricted to 30 words.

The following is the list of players and their roles in the game along with my thoughts on how each player did.

PMJ:
glados_portal.jpg

Character: GLaDOS
Alignment: Antagonists

You are GLaDOS, a supercomputer and center of Aperture Science. You can control every moving part in your facility by thinking it, allowing you to create endless puzzles to test your subjects. With your sick sense of humor, itching desire to test people, and readily available neurotoxin, very few will stand in your way.

Ability 1: For Science... You Monster
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. You will put that person in a testing chamber for the next two days. The first day in the chamber, that player will be restricted to 30 words per post. The second day in the chamber, that player will also not be able to vote. At the end of the second day, that player will be unable to solve your test chamber and you will kill them with neurotoxin allowing you to pick a new target that night. You may not have more than one person in a chamber at once.

Active Effect 1: Meeting of the Minds
You have access to the Evil Lair sub-forum and may use it to communicate freely with the other Antagonists.

Win Condition:
At least one Antagonist-aligned player is alive when all other players are dead, or nothing can prevent the same.
Ability usage:
(N1=Haunted Water, N3=Machamp the Champion, N5=Blah)

I think PMJ played well. He was smart in using his ability on people that had a low probability of being lynched. He was also lucky in targeting Machamp (Romeo) because it gained the wolves one more kill due to James (Juliet).

I don't think anyone ever realized what was happening when I would send them a note saying they couldn't post more than 30 words and then couldn't vote. Everyone kinda kept those effects to themselves so after they died the next target didn't know what was going on.

Hegafire0:
master-chief-halo-4-6d81cde5-sz600x352-animate.jpg

Character: Master Chief
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a SPARTAN-II commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command, and a decorated war hero from the Human-Covenant war. Clad in the half-ton, neurally controlled battlesuit known as the MJOLNIR, your physical strength, athletic ability and reflexes have all been enhanced.

Active Effect 1: Enhanced Strength
Before Day 6, your vote weight counts as 3. At the start of Day 6, your vote weight counts as 2.

Active Effect 2: Spartans Never Die
Once a game before day 7, if you die by the result of the Antagonist’s nightly kill, you will be reported dead but instead go MIA for the next two nights. Being MIA is the same as being dead - you may not post, communicate with players, etc. At the start of the day after your second night MIA, you will return and may continue the game as normal. This ability will be hidden upon your first death.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

It was very disappointing when Hegafire0 was modkilled. For reference, Hegafire0 took a screenshot of his role PM, and made it his avatar. It was never a rule set in the first post prohibiting it, (it should be from now on in games that allow role reveals though) but I did mention publicly in the thread not to screenshot when someone asked me directly. I felt REALLY bad modkilling him, but I couldn't let him continue the game with the advatage gained from picture.

The role however was very good in my opinion. The idea was the wolves would eventually find the triple voter (they did) and night kill him only for him to come back later negating their kill. This almost happened - the wolves were debating whether or not to kill him or someone else one night. Unfortunately if Hegafire0 would have survived the lynch the day he was modkilled, the wolves would not night kill him because he was then on Shocker's list. (See below)

Sir Taco:
brainiac.jpg

Character: Brainiac
Alignment: Antagonists

You are Brainiac, the super-intelligent alien being from the planet Colu, and one of Superman’s arch enemies. Extremely advanced mental abilities that have allowed you to work through numerous robotic and even human proxies make you a dangerously formidable opponent.

Ability 0: Alpha
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of an Antagonist, and a non-Antagonist player. The chosen Antagonist will kill the chosen non-Antagonist player. This ability will be given to a random, Antagonist aligned player upon your death, or if you go one night without using it.

Ability 1: Tracker
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. You will learn what player your chosen player targets with any abilities, and what player targets your chosen player.

Active Effect 1: Kryptonite Laced Blades
Superman will always die regardless of any abilities if you are chosen to kill him.

Active Effect 2: Meeting of the Minds
You have access to the Evil Lair sub-forum and may use it to communicate freely with the other Antagonists.

Win Condition:
At least one Antagonist-aligned player is alive when all other players are dead, or nothing can prevent the same.

Ability Usage:
(N1=Glace, N2=Glace, N3=RaichuGirl, N5=Machamp the Champ, N6=Dark Void)

Alpha Kill:
(N1=Teal, N2=Blui, N3=Kecleon-X, N4=Glace, N5=Keeper of Night, N6=ChillBill)

Sir Taco made good use of his ability. Night one he found that Blui and Haunted Water targeted Glace, the claimed seer. They luckily guessed that Blui was the Doctor, and removed him from the game. Then night 6 he targeted Dark Void so PMJ could have real results hopefully validating his tracker claim. Here is where I made a mistake though. I sent each tracker (Taco and Flys Gone) the same information. Each tracker should have seen the other in their results. This would not have changed the outcome of the game at all, because even if PMJ was lynched the wolves still would have won. (see below) But regardless, I kicked myself repeatedly for this mistake.

Interesting to note that despite PMJ's instructions not to kill anyone on Shocker's list (see below), Sir Taco killed KoN night 5 shortening PMJ's lifespan. Maybe Sir Taco wanted to remove PMJ from the game because the Alpha ability says you can't kill another Antagonist... Hmmm... ;)

Teal:
avengers-the-hulk.jpg

Character: Hulk
Alignment: Protagonists

You are The Incredible Hulk, aka Bruce Banner. After being caught in the blast of your own invention, the gamma bomb, your DNA has been altered causing you to transform unwillingly into a large, invulnerable green beast when you’re under emotional stress.

Ability 1: You Won’t Like Me When I’m Angry
Once a game during the day, if you have 3 or more votes cast for you, you may post in green text and all capital letters for the rest of the day. If you do, a game host will inform the town that all votes have been reset and the first person that voted for you will no longer be able to cast a vote for the day.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ah Teal, the unlucky night 1 kill. He had a rather underpowered but useful effect. The flavor text would make him out to look like a protagonist when the active effect triggered, somewhat confirming him as town, as well as saving him from a potential lynch. If this role were to be employed in future games, I would change the last part. Instead of the first person to vote being suppressed from voting, I would make it so that the player with the role could no longer be voted for.

Eagle4 -> Keeper of Night:
s_MLB_v_O_f_3022158354_082012.jpg

Character: Batman
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Batman, a vigilante donned in a black bat-themed uniform to hide your identity. After watching your parents murdered as a child, you have sworn revenge on criminals, an oath tempered with the greater ideal of justice. As you are a billionaire, you have access to the latest tools and gadgets to accompany your advance martial arts training.

Ability 1: Flash-bang
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. That player will be unable to use any abilities for the remainder of the night. That player will be informed that they were unsuccessful, but they will not be told why.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N1=MDL, N3=TheGuy, N4=Dark Void, N5=DNA)

Eagle4 only used the ability once before passing the torch to Keeper of Night, and I must say I have no idea why he targeted MDL. camoclone claimed that R2D2 was in the game and was a seer. MDL posted 'beeps' and 'boops' at the end of each message. I'm not sure why no one put two and two together..

KoN's Night 4 and Night 5 usage really helped the town however. N4 he delayed Dark Void's wincon and bought the town a day, and night 5 he stopped DNA from redeeming his coins for a superstar when he didn't need it, allowing him to save it for later.

Salamencetrainer34 -> Lenny:
tumblr_ltp5unSlT71qa4id4.jpg

Character: Mew
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Mew, the cat-like Pokémon with psychic abilities. As your DNA contains the genetic codes that allows you to use any move, it is said that you are the ancestor of all Pokémon. You are considered a mirage to most experts as you only appear to a select few people.

Ability 1: Psychic Peek
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. If you would die as the result of the Antagonist’s nightly kill, the targeted player’s full role PM will be revealed in the thread at the start of the next day.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N1=Dark Void)

Poor Lenny, victim of the one shot kill from TheGuy(Bowser). Salamencetrainer34 claimed he was Mew day one, then subbed himself out for some reason. Unfortunately it was Lenny at the top of the replacement stack to take over instantly with a target on his head.

Anyway if Lenny were not killed by the fire and instead by the wolf kill, he would have outed Dark Void as an indie. This would have been a double edged sword however: if DV would have been lynched Haunted Water would not be able to unlock his hidden ability (although he still never did:( )

Haunted Water:
tommy-lee-jones-as-agent-k-in-men-in-black-1.jpg

Character: Agent K
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Agent K, aka Kevin Brown, founder and agent of the Men in Black. You have devoted your life to your work in hunting down and neutralizing dangerous aliens for over 40 years, and have become a well respected agent because of it.

Ability 1: Alien Tracker
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. You will be informed if that player has a Mind Probe or not. If you find two players with a Mind Probe, you will unlock a hidden ability.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

******************

[HIDDEN ABILITY]:
(Unlocked after finding two Mind Probes)

Ability 2: Wavelength Synch
You will be provided with an updating list of players with Mind Probes. Once a game, you may PM the game host the names of two players on that list. You will be sent each player's entire role PM.

Ability usage:
(N1=Glace, N2=DNA)

Haunted Water actually found one mind probe, but fell victim to PMJ's poison before finding the second. :(

The thought here was players would post that they couldn't vote (the effect of a mind probe) and would appear as good targets for Alien Tracker. Being unable to vote was also a side effect of PMJ's poison to cause some confusion.

Dark Void:
l.jpg

Character: Marvin the Martian
Alignment: None

You are Marvin the Martian. Known for your incredible tenacity and extraterrestrial intelligence, you pride yourself with being superior to any earthling, even though this attitude sometimes gets the best of you.

Ability 1: Mind Probe
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. That player will be Mind Probed, and will not be allowed to vote for the following day. The targeted player will be informed of this effect, but not what or who caused it.

Win Condition:
If 6 Players have a Mind Probe at the start of a day, you will be declared a winner and removed from the game.

Ability usage:
(N1=Teal, N2=DNA, N3=MDL, N4=(blocked)James, N5=Machamp the Champ, N6=doublenikesocks)

Dark Void is the reason that it didn't matter who was lynched Day 7. He was one probe away from winning and being removed from the game.

Before the theme was even decided, I wanted to have an alien that won by probing people to no effect, and a conspiracy theorist that finds the probes and learns information about the players with them. Once the theorist found a certain number, he would become masons with the alien and his wincon would change or something. I think this would be a cool thing to bring back in future games. (hint hint) :p

MDL:
R2-D2-star-wars-640x410.jpg

Character: R2-D2
Alignment: Protagonists

You are R2-D2, an Astromech droid from Naboo. Although designed as a mechanic and copilot, you have found yourself saving the lives of you and your friends on multiple occasions. Armed with several gadgets and universal computer hacking technology, you always have a way out of every situation.

Ability 1: Communications Hack
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. You will receive a message stating that your search was positive or negative. If your search returns positive, that player is Protagonist aligned. If your search returns negative, that player is not Protagonist aligned.

Active Effect 1: Droid Speak
Each post you make in the thread must contain a combination of “beeps” and ”chirps” etc. at the end of your message. Example: “Beep-bop whistle”.

Active Effect 2: Encrypted Messages
This effect will always be hidden if searched, upon your death, etc. Instead of adding ambiguous “boops” and “whirls” at the end of your posts by the effect of Droid Speak, you may choose to encode a message for C-3PO who can read them.
Key:
Code:
Boop-beep = Protagonist
Chirp = Not Protagonist
Skreee/whiiirl = Player on the player list where the number of ‘e’s/’i’s equals that player slot.

Example:
Hey this Porygon-X guy sure is a great game host!

Chirp skreeeeeeeeeee!

This post would incriminate the 11th player on the player list.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N1=Teal, N2=Kecleon-X, N3=DNA, N4=Dark Void, N5=Machamp the Champ)

Ah MDL... I think he played well. He actually found both indies before his demise.

I loved this role so much. The point is that he can send encoded to messages to C-3PO(camoclone) through the thread, without knowing who C-3PO was. Once MDL would die, 3PO would be safe to convey all the information MDL gained to the town, making them a very powerful combination. Unfortunately for the town, this never came to be.. (see below)

Machamp the Champion:
romeo_juliet_1996_xl_01-film-a.jpg

Character: Romeo Montague
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Romeo Montague, an idealistic impulsive star-crossed lover. You secretly married Juliet, a member of the rival House of Capulet, before killing Tybalt to the result of your banishment.

Active Effect 1: Young Love
You may freely communicate with Juliet, whose identity will be sent to you in a separate PM. If Juliet dies, you will immediately commit suicide.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

What better lover-masons could there be than Romeo and Juliet? :p It's a shame that Machamp or James(Juliet) never came under suspicion, because they could have confirmed each others mason claim.

Astra:
Magneto.jpg

Character: Magneto
Alignment: Antagonists

You are Magneto, a born mutant with the ability to manipulate metal. With the aid of other like-minded mutants, your goal is to eventually dominate the human race as you view them as an outdated species.

Ability 1: Manipulate Metal
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. That player will be unable to use any abilities for the remainder of the night. That player will be informed that they were unsuccessful, but they will not be told why.

(N1=Kecleon-X, N2=Glace, N3=Raichugirl)

Astra, the only lynched wolf. He got great mileage out of his ability, although the first night it actually helped the town. By blocking Kecleon it meant that the first kill he could make would be night 3. Next night he was able to block Glace who claimed even night seer meaning that Glace never had any results all game.

Blui:
doctorwho50th.jpg

Character: The Doctor
Alignment: Protagonists

You are The Doctor, a Time Lord who travels time and space in a sentient blue spaceship, the TARDIS. With the ability to regenerate into a new body after an injury that would be fatal to most other beings, you have seen many different faces. Along with a succession of many companions, you work to save civilisations, help regular people, and right wrongs.

Ability 1: Protector
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. That player will be protected from death for the duration of that night. You may not target the same player on consecutive nights.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N1=Glace, N2=PMJ)

What better character for a doctor role than The Doctor? Amirite?

Targeting the claimed seer Glace is what spelled Blui's demise. The wolf tracker (Sir Taco) was able to find Blui before Blui could get any mileage out of his role. Personally, if I had this role I would not have targeted Glace assuming the wolves would assume I would target him, but again that's just me.

Originally he had a one shot deathproof ability, but I figured it would have unbalanced the game a little, so I removed it. I'm sure if posted in the thread, Kecleon would have 'nerded out' and called this role fake for not having some kind of immunity. :p

Shocker:
artworks-000018130593-8n0kz4-crop.jpg

Character: Optimus Prime
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. Selfless and endlessly courageous, you are the complete opposite of your mortal enemy Megatron. Every casualty in the war with Megatron, human or Cybertronian, weighs heavily on your spark. However you do not show this side to your soldiers, and never succumb to despair.

Ability 1: Teletran-I’s Scanners
Once a game during the night after night 3 and if at least 8 votes were cast the previous day, you may PM the game host that you would like to use this ability. If you do, you will be told how many players on the last day’s lynch wagon were not aligned with the Protagonists.

Active Effect 1: Robots in Disguise
You will always be able to use your abilities regardless of any abilities you may be targeted with.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N4=DNA, KoN, PMJ, Hega, Machamp, 1 wolf)

Allow me to start off by saying to all future hosts: don't use this role.

As PMJ continuously points out, this role is broken. It worked out fine in this game, but the way this role currently is could wreak havoc. The day before Shocker could use his ability I think 3 wolves were on a wagon of like 7 iirc. That would have been bad. If you do decide to nerf this and use it, be very careful.

Kecleon-X:
app-icon.jpg

Character: Slenderman
Alignment: Self

You are The Slenderman, a tall thin man with a featureless face clad in a black suit and tie. You are said to stalk, abduct and kill people, although no one really knows, for they never witness you and live to tell the tale.

Ability 1: Soul Reaper
Once each odd numbered night you may PM the game host the name of a player. That player will be killed, and you will receive an updated role PM with a new random ability from that player’s role. The new abilities are one time use.

Active Effect 1: Teleport
You are deathproof until the start of Day 5.

Win Condition:
Be the last player standing or let nothing prevent the same.

Ability usage:
(N1=MDL, N3=RaichuGirl, N5=MDL,)

Abilities Gained:
Ability 1: Mission Briefing
Once each night you may PM the game host that you would like to use this ability. If you do, you will be PMed the name of a character alive in the game but not who is using it.
Ability 1: Communications Hack
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. You will receive a message stating that your search was positive or negative. If your search returns positive, that player is Protagonist aligned. If your search returns negative, that player is not Protagonist aligned.

Ah Kecleon... I was hoping he'd hit a Transformer role, but alas.

He was talking to me about how bad his role was, but he never read the last part of his kill ability that allowed him to absorb abilities. :p

I made a mistake here too. As the wolves had to work for their safe claims (see below) I never sent any out at the start of the game... Which means I never sent out claims for those who didn't have to work for them. (Kecleon and Dark Void) So I guess it was Day 3 when I realized I had all these extra claims so I sent them out. Kecleon assumed that what I sent him was a message from another player so he posted a self-incriminating message in the thread saying to anyone who actually knows what a safe claim is that he is an indie. Realizing what he had done he deleted the post, and I had to give him a warning. But then everyone knew he wasn't town aligned so it eliminated his shot at victory.

RaichuGirl:
skyfall-best-of-bond.jpg

Character: James Bond
Alignment: Protagonists

You are James Bond, code name 007, a British Secret Service agent. Armed with various gadgets supplied by Q Branch and intense training, you are the bane of many criminal masterminds.

Ability 1: Mission Briefing
Once each night you may PM the game host that you would like to use this ability. If you do, you will be PMed the name of a character alive in the game but not who is using it.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N1=Optimus, N2=Mario, N3=Bugs Bunny)

RaichuGirl actually really helped the town by posting Optimus Prime was in the game. It made it so that Shocker could post his list without coming under fire because it would be stupid for a wolf to claim a role that's confirmed to be in the game.

The idea behind this role was that if anyone role revealed, they could be confirmed by this ability. If employed in future games I would probably up the results to two a night, or maybe two on even nights and one on odd nights.

TheGuy:
BowserNSMBU.png

Character: Bowser
Alignment: Antagonists

You are Bowser, also known as King Koopa and the arch nemesis of Mario. As your title suggests, you command a legion of turtle-like creatures known as Koopa. In your spare time, you like Kart Racing, golf, and kidnapping princesses.

Ability 1: Fire Breath
Once a game during the night you may PM the game host the name of a player. That player will be killed.

Active Effect 1: Giga Bowser
If you are killed, during the next day phase all votes will be cast privately to the game host, and if before day 7, all Antagonist-aligned players will have their vote weight doubled.

(N1=Lenny)

TheGuy really stayed under the radar, which was good and bad because he never got to activate the powerful Giga Bowser. I was almost dreading this role when I made it because of the mass influx of PMs I would get if TheGuy was taken out early. :p

Glace:
1340064729m_SPLASH.jpg

Character: Spock
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Mister Spock, a half-Vulcan, half-Human who serves as science officer and first officer aboard the starship Enterprise. Although known for your emotionally detached, logical perspective, you are good friends with Captain James T. Kirk and Dr. McCoy.

Ability 1: Mind Meld
Once each even numbered night you may PM the game host the name of a player. You will learn the Alignment of that player.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N2=Blah, N4 James)

Glace... I think this is the perfect example of why you should never claim seer day one (or any day really). Night 2 he was blocked by the wolves, and he died before he could get the results night 4. He claimed seer to counterclaim camoclone who was going to be lynched anyway.

sillykyle -> TwistedTurtwig:
G1Megatron-Flail.jpg

Character: Megatron
Alignment: Antagonists

You are Megatron, the ruthless Decepticon Ruler. Armed with the powerful Fusion Cannon and the entire Decepticon Army, only a fool would go up against you. Or at least, that’s what you like to think.

Ability 1: Laserbeak’s Reconnaissance
Once each night you may PM the game host that you would like to use this ability. If you do, you will be PMed the name of a character that is NOT in this game.

Active Effect 1: Hiding in Plain Sight
If your Alignment if ever investigated by an ability, it will return as Protagonists.

(N1=Red, N2=Steve, N3=James T. Kirk, N6=Mega Man)

This role was an experiment. I wanted to see what would happen if the wolves had to work for their safe claims. It worked out just fine this game, but this could have gone very poorly. Don't use this role the way it is in the future.

I actually still like this idea however, and if it were to be done again perhaps you could have it so each wolf has their own way to unlock a safe claim. One could have to survive to day 4, one could have to be chosen to kill two players, one could have to unvote three times in one day, etc.

pokemeister899 -> Phoenix -> ChillBill:
gandalfa.jpg

Character: Gandalf
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Gandalf the Grey, a wizard with great physical and mental strength. For over 2,000 years you have worked most faithfully against the rising powers of evil in Middle-earth. Your deep wisdom and care for all creatures of good derived from the patience you learned in Valinor.

Ability 1: Reflection Ward
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. If you are targeted by any non-lethal abilities, they will be reflected to that chosen player. You will be informed of the names of the abilities that you were targeted with, but not who is using them. No one will be informed of this redirection.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
NONE

Replaced twice and the ability still never saw a single use.

Lemonnade:
640px-Darth_Vader_Hoth.png

Character: Darth Vader
Alignment: Antagonists

You are Darth Vader, a Sith Lord. You are encased in a dark life-sustaining suit that secretes an eerie noise every breath. Despite hindered mobility and awkward cybernetic arms, you are still quite skilled with a lightsaber, and a force (pun intended) to be reckoned with.

Ability 1: Force Block
Once a game during the night you may PM the game host that you would like to use this ability. If you do, the player chosen to be killed by the Antagonist’s nightly kill will have their abilities and active effects hidden from the town. If you die, the hidden information will be revealed.

(N5=Keeper of Night)

Lemonnade was the only player in the whole game to ever PM me that he wouldn't use his ability. :')

I love the janitor role, but I think this one was a little underpowered. Perhaps it should be boosted to twice a game, or maybe let the wolves see the censored material.

DNA:
1349929682_mario-fireball2-pv.jpg

Character: Mario
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Mario, a short pudgy Italian plumber. Although you may not look the part on the outside, you are a brave hero who has saved the princess on multiple occasions. Equipped with the ability to use mysterious power-ups hidden within ‘?’ blocks, Bowser and his evil Koopa army is no match for you.

Ability 1: ‘?’ Block
Once each night you may PM the game host that you would like to use this ability. If you do, you will smash a ‘?’ Block and you will obtain a random effect.

50%: Coin
25%: Mushroom
12.5%: Fire Flower
12.5%: Starman

If you receive a Coin, it will be added to your Coin bank. Coins never disappear, and you may redeem them for a power-up instead of using the ‘?’ Block ability for the night. Mushrooms and Fire Flowers are 2 Coins, and a Starman is 3.

If you receive a Mushroom, the following night in addition to using this ability you may target a player other than yourself. That player will have their abilities (if any) powered up for that night. They will be informed of this, but not of the source. If you do not use this power-up the night after it was obtained, it will dissapear.

If you receive a Fire Flower, the following day your vote weight will be counted as 3.

If you receive a Starman, you will be immune from death for the remainder of the night it was obtained.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N1=Coin, N2=Coin, N3=Starman, N4=Coin, N5=redeem for star(blocked), N6=Mushroom)

DNA played really well in my opinion. It's a shame that he never got to use a mushroom, because there are lots of abilities (good and bad) that could have been powered up.

I think this role is really solid, but if I were to do it over again perhaps I would have made each item 25% chance to hit and the redemption prices cheaper.

James86134:
romeo_juliet_1996_xl_02-film-a.jpg

Character: Juliet Capulet
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Juliet Capulet, a young headstrong star-crossed lover. You secretly married Romeo, a member of the rival House of Montague, instead of Paris, your would-be husband.

Active Effect 1: Young Love
You may freely communicate with Romeo, whose identity will be sent to you in a separate PM. If Romeo dies, you will immediately commit suicide.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Not really much to say here other than I wish I had requested to be copied on their messages. I wonder what they talked about... Also I was dreading having to find profile pics for the couple, but I found a matching pair from the movie. I think it worked out great.

Cinesra:
man-of-steal-superman-wallpaper-hd.jpg

Character: Superman
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Superman, last survivor of the destroyed planet Krypton after being sent to Earth by your parents. Due to Earth’s yellow sun, you developed superhuman abilities including the ability to fly and impossible strength. Raised with a strong moral compass by your foster parents, you have vowed to fight for truth, justice, and the American way.

Active Effect 1: Invulnerability
You are immune to death.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

I wish Cinesra had been more active. In fact if didn't know the game was going to end when it did I would have replaced him. With a role like this he could go all out and not fear being killed. (other than by Brainiac) If he was ever up for lynch the flavor text would make him sound protagonist.

camoclone:
c-3po.jpg

Character: C-3PO
Alignment: Protagonists

You are C-3PO, a bipedal protocol droid. Although designed primarily for etiquette and protocol, you often find yourself in important points in history, and have even saved the galaxy! Fluent in over six million languages, there are virtually no life forms you cannot interact with.

Active Effect 1: Poison Immunity
You cannot die from any abilities that poison.

Active Effect 2: Translator
This effect will always be hidden if searched, upon your death, etc. R2-D2 can investigate Alignments. In his posts he may post an encrypted message. Key:
Code:
Boop-beep = Protagonist
Chirp = Not Protagonist
Skreee/whiiirl = Player on the player list where the number of ‘e’s/’i’s equals that player slot.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

camoclone camoclone camoclone...

I gotta say I'm really disappointed in how things turned out here. camoclone was accusing everyone left and right so people got fed up and started a wagon. To try and save himself he revealed that R2-D2 was a seer and that he could communicate with him. MDL had to post Beeps and Whistles at the end of each message. I'm not sure why anyone didn't notice MDL was R2, especially when MDL realized who he was voting for and unvoted. Kecleon actually figured it out and tried to kill MDL that night but was blocked. This is also when Glace claimed half seer to counterclaim camoclone, throwing himself and the doctor (blui) who protected him under the bus. So many power roles were lost in the first couple of days...

But I gotta say out of all the roles in the game my favorite would be R2 and C-3PO. Encrypted Message Thread Masons man! I had this idea looonnnggg before I would host a game and it fit right in perfectly. It's a shame though: future hosts shouldn't use this combo because people know about it now. I guess we'll never know things would have turned out...

Flys Gone 2071:
13711-450x250.jpg

Character: Gordon Freeman
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Gordon Freeman, theoretical physicist and Research Associate Scientist at Black Mesa. After an experiment gone wrong, aliens took over the world forcing you to defend yourself and the human race with various weapons and a protective HEV suit.

Ability 1: Tracker
Once each night you may PM the game host the name of a player. You will learn what player your chosen player targets with any abilities, and what player targets your chosen player.

Active Effect 1: Untalkative
You cannot post during Day 1.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
(N1=James, N3=Glace, N5=Shocker, N6=Dark Void)

Flys Gone played well I think. My only nit-pick would be at the end he should have capitalized on the fact that he couldn't talk day one, a copy of a protagonist role PMJ used in the last game.

Blah -> LuckyFire:
bugsbunny.jpg

Character: Bugs Bunny
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Bugs Bunny, the nonchalant carrot chewing rabbit with a pronounced Mid-Atlantic accent. You are always three steps ahead of everyone else, making hard to predict your next move.

Ability 1: What’s Up, Doc?
Twice a game and only once each Day, you may PM the game host the name of a player and a question you would like to anonymously ask that player about his or her role PM. During the following Night, the game host will send that player your question. When he replies, any lies in his reply will be highlighted in red. However, you may not ask questions involving a player's win condition or alignment, and all of your messages must begin with the question "What’s Up, Doc?" or they will not be sent.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
NONE (seriously what the heck)

I thought for sure after Blah would be replaced LF would get some use out of this role. Nope. Not a single PM.

This role actually is quite powerful, though. You can ask if their role cards say they can communicate with others to see if they are a wolf, can narrow down when Kecleon's invulnerability would end, ask someone a question who has role revealed to confirm it, etc.

doublenikesocks:
5qYM0gtsyEI.jpg

Character: Heavy Weapons Guy
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Heavy Weapons Guy, the towering hulk of man with an obsession for big weapons. While not the most intelligent of individuals, you are notorious for turning the tides of many battles. Some people think they can outsmart you. Maybe they can. But you have yet to meet someone that can outsmart a bullet.

Active Effect 1: Pow! Haha!
If you are killed during the night by the result of the Antagonist’s nightly kill, you have a 50% chance to revenge kill your killer.

Active Effect 2: Illiterate
In each post you make you must misspell a word.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Again I would have replaced him if I hadn't known the game was going to end when it did. When he was active he made sure to misspell obvious words making my life much easier, which was cool.

This has to be my favorite flavor text though. If he ever role revealed it would have Kecleon's 100% approval lol

Wailord_2:
500px-Rainbow_Dash_performing_Sonic_Rainboom_S01E16.png

Character: Rainbow Dash
Alignment: Protagonists

You are Rainbow Dash, a Pegasus pony. You are responsible for maintaining the weather and clearing the skies in Ponyville. As a huge admirer of The Wonderbolts, you dream of one day joining their elite flying group.

Ability 1: Magic is Friendship
Once a game during the day you may PM the game host the name of a player. You will be able to communicate freely with that player for the rest of the game.

Win Condition:
At least one Protagonist-aligned player is alive when all threats have been eliminated.

Ability usage:
NONE

If he had used his ability at all, he could have had his mason confirm a claim, maybe avoiding his early lynch.

I was reluctant to add a pony to this game... But I didn't know what was worse, researching the MLP wiki or facing the wrath of the bronies due to the lack of ponies.

lol

Good game, everyone!

Overall the game went well, I think. I appreciate the opportunity to host a game for you all, and I hope you had fun.

Cheers!

and night 5 he stopped DNA from redeeming his coins for a superstar when he didn't need it, allowing him to save it for later.
I read "your night action was unsuccessful" as "no one tried to kill you". I didn't know I still had the coins.

It's a shame that he never got to use a mushroom, because there are lots of abilities (good and bad) that could have been powered up.
I did that on purpose, and you just explained why.

I was reluctant to add a pony to this game... But I didn't know what was worse, researching the MLP wiki or facing the wrath of the bronies due to the lack of ponies.

lol
lol

I told Sir Taco to kill Keeper of Night because my original plan was to make the claim that the wolves had killed their own guy and hidden his flip so that I could claim odd-night seer and try to get both DNA and myself seen as clear.

Of course, that plan went straight to the moon because KoN's identity was revealed to the town and MDL--the game's other actual seer--died in the same night, thus screwing my plan over.

The whole "ask me any question" role that Luckyfire inherited should also never be used because the only way to make proper use out of it is to ask questions about a player's alignment or that would otherwise clear/incriminate a player.

I had to. :p

Anyway, Camo, why did you act like that? Were you scumhunting, thought you had a bad role or the opposite? Just wondering. :)
