The cult's win condition is to outnumber all living players; they have infinite recruiting potential as long as the leader is alive. Of course, sometimes the recruiting role will pass to a random cultist in case the cult leader gets killed before he can amass a huge cult, which in itself is nigh impossible to balance because if you literally don't eliminate the leader on d1, the cult will win unless there's like a vig shot and they hit the recruited member on the same night.

I'm calling it right now. I really don't think Astra would be stupid enough to put a cult in without realizing the repercussions of it, but if he did, they're going to win.

That's a good question. The honest answer is idk. It just says I win if the cult is eliminated.

Wolves are the uninformed minority set out to use deception to crush the town. You have dealt with them in every past werewolf game.

Cults are different. They share the same win condition as the mafia (outnumber all players), but the way they achieve it isn't by killing, but by recruiting players into the cult. The cult starts off as a single player (the cult leader), who can, once per night, choose to recruit a player into the cult. If successful, the recruited player will become a cultist and lose their original role. Their new win condition becomes that of the cult's.

Typically, scum cannot be recruited into the cult because if they were they could just spill to the cult/town who their former scumpartners are. Therefore, if a cult tries to recruit scum, they typically are killed.

As I said before, even if the cult is discovered d1, unless they lynch the leader and prevent him from recruiting anyone, they'll just recruit someone. Even if you lynch cultists every day, they get a new recruit every night. If we hadn't found out about the cult until, like, day four, it would have been pretty much gfg.

They're extremely hard to balance. The only way to know the extent of the damage Astra's cult will do is to play the game and find out.

Ah, those were the days. That was the game when my scum-streak began, if I recall correctly. Although I'd never be as daft as to repeat a folly such as that twice over, if that is what you are thinking.

In the rut I'm in (which in most games I manage to put myself in my rut a lot #sobad), I have no intention of lying. Also, I didn't even know what a cult was, so how I would I make up my win condition to one that just so happens to be in the game. And, I don't see why I'm being targeted. I said considered and people took it as " HE SAID TO LYNCH A GUY, SCUM, SCUM, SCUUUUUUUM". That's not what I meant at all. I said as a last last resort. We can't vote No-lynch which is why I said that.

Why is the one day I'm completely unable to post the day a WW game starts. ._. I hate reading 150-200 posts back to back because I forget everything.

Anyway, let's just get rid of the fluff and state the important stuff.

- I believe DNA and I think he's town.
- I think PMJ is town.
- I believe RogueChomp's win-con.
- The RogueChomp wagon is really dumb.
- The TwistedTurtwig wagon is really dumb.
- I agree with SS that TokyoToots' post in the Night Chat was scummy (in fact, I noticed it before day 1 even started), and I think he's been acting even scummier now.
- We have camoclone and SheNinja in the same game and neither is being lynched day 1... this could turn into the most chaotic game of werewolf yet.
- I'm voting for Tokyo until something else pops up.
- Something else needs to pop up so I can post a second time.
