RE: Werewolf XXIII-II Trust Issues - D1 ends Oct 21

Supporting what PMJ said about Celever. Stop trying to lead the town. And stop asking for claims, role PM formats etc. all the time. It is too early, we do not trust you, and we definitely don't wanna reveal a thing about our roles.

RE: Werewolf XXIII-II Trust Issues - D1 ends Oct 21

That's the other thing I wanted to address. xD Yeah, Celever is in fact very suspicious, asking for roles and everything even when it isn't allowed to c/p. It very well could be a wolf tactic to find some info on town roles, which can't be helpful for us.

However I would like the layout of your Role PM with all information taken out of it, just to confirm that you did in fact receive one with the right formatting! :]

1. You are not allowed to c+p or screenshot your role.

If anyone posts the layout of their role, I'll consider it a minor rule break of the first rule.

This rule also applies when OC-ing, right? Just to be sure.

Thanks! :D

Oh, and PMJ, is not that I'm putting all my support on No Lynch, but I'm saying that, if needed be, it could be an option not to potentially lose 2 town members instead of 1 for when we start off D2.

RE: Werewolf XXIII-II Trust Issues - D1 ends Oct 21

By specific layout, do you mean like using specific terminology? because

role name
alignment
flavor
ability
[more abilities as needed]
win condition

is basically the standard format for every game ever. please don't modkill me :[

Putting more than 0% of your support behind No Lynch on D1 is good enough to earn my vote, scum.

Yes that's fine, but if you quote the flavor, then i'll count it as a break since that gives away sensitive info about your role.

Haha, ok, if you say so. :p Still, I would't like to do it either, just as a last resort move. I'd rather keep looking into Celever for those faulty requests.

RE: Werewolf XXIII-II Trust Issues - D1 ends Oct 21

1) I didn't try to lead by any means. I just said that in OC a village leader is pretty much necessary, since I realise that most of us here haven't actually played OC before.

Haunted Water, would saying something like "I am seer" or "I am doctor" be breaking the rules?

RE: Werewolf XXIII-II Trust Issues - D1 ends Oct 21

>Celever asking for roles.
Wow.

>Luis jumping logic.
Okay...

>BBninjas asking for votes.
-.-

Seems like standard D1 so far.

RE: Werewolf XXIII-II Trust Issues - D1 ends Oct 21

Sorry I haven't posted yet, much irl stuff going on.

Thoughts so far:
1) Celever is being silly with the town leader shenanigans. I don't even know why such a thing is necessary, especially on Day 1. Also, asking for role formatting is odd...mostly because we can't even quote so why does it matter?
2) bbninjas seems excited to play, but I haven't played with him enough to know anything about his regular play style.
3) Camoclone is relatively quiet compared to most Day 1. I'd like to hear more from him because most often than not he's the one getting most of the information on the first day.
4) No Lynch is a bad idea because it could potentially get us nowhere. It's like giving the scum a free pass. Unless someone has a significant night role that will for sure lead us to a scum during the next day, then it isn't worth it.

With all that said, there are some people who have yet to post at all. I know I'm not one to really judge as I just posted for the first time, but I'd like to see more of the inactive people participate, or be replaced. It's only a 20 player game, we need as many active town as we can get.

@ Lenny and anyone else
I'm currently testing out different play styles, being new.

@HW Can we quote ability names/ability effects or must we 'paraphrase' them? And can we say what our role is named?

RE: Werewolf XXIII-II Trust Issues - D1 ends Oct 21

You can say the names of abilities and your role, but you can only paraphrase what abilities do.

Just a little advice, but if I were you I wouldn't try out "different play styles". Just be yourself from the get go, and adapt that play style to become more viable and helpful. Personally I think you have a great attitude etc. for werewolf already, so I would ask for some advice (preferably in the post game) and try to take that into account, as opposed to trying out different things and trying to uphold awkward conversations etc..

Does that make any kind of sense at all? :/

OK then, that makes sense. But I think I will stick to my current RVS whatsadooba.

RE: Werewolf XXIII-II Trust Issues - D1 ends Oct 21

I just thought of something:
Why would Celever need to role format? I would think ONLY if he needs to cover something up, make up a role (either for or not for an ability) or his role is so pathetic it barely has any ability.

There is no village. And there is never any need for a leader.

Camoclone is usually very busy during weekdays due to school, homework, and tutors

It doesn't matter at this point and I doubt it will matter at all.
