Why would the scum be required to do it lategame?

If the scum are down to 3 scum:6 town, 5 who are moderately inactive town, then the scum would have to kill them. Anyway, it was just a thought, and I see where you're coming from. It probably isn't scummy

How do you evaluate the town winning chances in such a situation?

For reals though, I just stated the standard way QT:s have been sent out in all PokéBeach games so far.

I don't see why bbninjas is voted atm.

GM Draclord has been proven to be pretty much impossible to read as scum, so if there will be no leads at the end of the day, I will vote him.

And how much time does i got a scum role.. Just that one lucky time since my teammate died early.. The only thing that holding you from hoping i got lynch is that you yourself got lynch. I dont have evidence to prove who is anyone but atleast i'm not rambling more useless input

Anyway.. Atm I i would lynch no one since i'm bad at reading people especially on early game since everyone is good at hiding things on first day..

I'm not voting for Teal simply because I think he might have access to a QT. I'm also voting for him because I don't like the tone of his posts. For some of his posts, it seems like he made the post, then realized "this is too wolfy" and added a couple sentences like "well this thing I said might be wrong" to make it seem more town-like. It's hard to really describe exactly why I think Teal might be a wolf; I just do.

I don't understand the suspicion towards Lenny. His posts seem insightful and generally helpful for the town.

I assume that the wolf QT link gets sent to every wolf at once in a separate PM like usual so it would be incredibly careless to miss sending the role and the QT link to someone. Of course if the QT link is sent in the regular role PM, this logic doesn't work.

That last sentence seems to be what I just described, where he added onto his post after realizing it was a really scummy post.

##Luis did Omega Soul really not get their role? If he's lying then that's quite weird. Also not sure why he wouldn't raise this via a PM rather than through the thread...

Not fair for him to answer this question, it would pretty much confirm Omega as non-wolf...

Honestly, I'm not sure of either of the main suspects right now. bbninjas' obsession with needing "reasons" for RVS isn't terribly scumlike, just because he accepts "He's Australian" as a reason. And Teal saying the QT thing means he's scum. First of all, him mentioning it doesn't mean he is in a QT, and even if he is that doesn't necessarily mean he's scum. In a game with this flavour, I could see a lot of potential QT groups. Perhaps one of the couples that exist or even a group of teachers or something like that. I also think AlexanderTheAwesome saying Lenny because he had a long post is somewhat concerning, because I don't think that was a random vote.

AtA voted Lenny because he thought that the long post was out of character looking at his town playstyle, and he made that pretty clear in his post.

I'm not sure I like how much you defended AtA in this post. I mean, it is just 1 post that you're defending him, but what you're defending him from is Wailord misinterpreting what AtA said just a little bit. For that kind of misunderstanding, you were defending him a bit too much.

I never hesitate to lynch good/experienced players if I think they're a wolf. I always follow my gut (or what I'm pretending my gut is telling me), and I have a pretty decent gut feeling on you right now.

That's not entirely true. Sometimes town power roles like to actively lurk.

Contributing to the discussion anyways might help. The reason why you are so dang hard to get a read on is because you lurk a lot. You don't contribute that much.

Hey guys, sorry I'm late to the party. I will try to post more.

Thoughts so far:

I was a little confused as to what post MTC was referring to when he said he didn't like rev's post, because rev only posted an in post and "hey this game is HP" and I didn't see anything wrong with that at first glance, but based on context clues from others I figure that has to be the post he's referring to. Is MTC trying to goad a response out of him? MTC's response to bbninjas (p 106) leads me to believe it's a legit lead and not just RVS, but his lead is sketchy even by day one standards. Or perhaps MTC knows something and is leaving a bread crumb for us to find later? I dunno. Either way, it's day one, and I'm not going to put stock into anything right now.

Then MTC goes and votes Celever for trying to hinder d1 discussion. As far as a day one lynch goes, that's the kind of almost-legit logic I can get behind, but as I said, it's d1 and early. No need to commit yet.

I don't blame TT for claiming after being scum for over nine thousand games in a row and then auto-dying in his first town role in centuries, but remember that you guys are the ones that said he was Hagrid, and he just went along with it. Doesn't mean he's telling the truth.

In response to TheGuy's post (p 195) asking where I've been, the answer is not in this thread. I don't want it to be like the last game where I was gone for like 80 pages. Having to comb through ~300 posts is bad enough, so I'm putting in an effort now so I don't have to go through like 80 pages.

...and here's MTC again with his dead-serious cases, this time against Teal (p 222).

Let me say that I don't buy the argument against Teal. I can't remember a game in recent memory where the host included the link to the QT in the role PM. Keeping QT links out of the role PM is an extra added layer of security in the event a role PM gets sent to a player it shouldn't.

Omega Soul is soft cleared, as Camo said, but he is more likely hard cleared because if he was scum he would have been sent the QT with the rest of his scumpartners, regardless of whether or not Luis correctly sent Omega his role PM.

I'm glad to see Wailord_2 coming out from underneath his rock to post.
