Or would killing Drac remove your connection to their faction entirely?

Answer ^ Bigfoot.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 1 will end on December 17th, 23:59 GMT

Oh, sorry. No, it wouldn't sever my connection to the quicktopic.

Then I'm all game to kill him.

I've never had to deal with 'bad' Independents - do they deserve more priority than scum, or is it just that it's a decent lead to go on for so early in the game?

In this case, it's not really important which one we're prioritizing, since we know for a fact that he's an Independent, and we don't know for sure who any of the wolves are.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 1 will end on December 17th, 23:59 GMT

We also get a role revealed, that isn't Town - and how QTs where sent out no less - from this lynch. I'm a supporter.

Umm... guys... This sounds awfully lot like a cult...

An anti-town faction that converts one player each night into a cultist and that wins by outnumbering the rest of the players. (Usually they can only convert town and they die if they try to convert a wolf afaik.) The role(s) I hate the most in WW. Converting a player's win condition into something they have been playing against midgame is a bastard move...

This way we are guaranteed to lynch someone anti-town. If Drac is on the town, we'll probably end up lynching Bigfoot tomorrow, but yeah.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 1 will end on December 17th, 23:59 GMT

Bbninjas, I'm not sure what the difference is between the two things you wanted me to clear up. What I meant was I could not get a read on you either way (town or anti-town)...does this make sense? That was at that time. At this time, I'd say you're on my probably town list, subject to change as more information is revealed of course. If I didn't answer the question you were asking, then elaborate the question for me.

I'm all down for the GM DracLord lynch. It's got evidence behind it and it's better than bbninjas or Teal (or me, in my opinion :p).

##vote: GM DracLord

Instead of a shot in the dark, we can remove a for-sure anti-town as well as gain information on how QTs are released. And if for some reason BigfootAUS is wrong or he lied...well, we'll deal with that if it happens.

I actually don't know why you would lynch Bigfoot tomorrow if Drac is town. Bigfoot hasn't confirmed Drac as anti-town (and made sure not to confirm him, instead say he thinks), although he has a pretty big - and sensible - hunch.

Yep! That's what I wanted confirmation on! You still in my scummy books but we'll see...

I didn't say that I would lynch him, I said that we would probably lynch him. Baseless lynches end up happening all the time (but particularly on this site I find) as a means of revenge for someone creating a lynch on a townie. Bigfoot sounded pretty sure in his post, so the less rational players would just think "Bigfoot started this town lynch he is scum let's lynch him!"

Personally I think that Bigfoot did some pretty good detective work there when he figured out it was GM Drac from the grammar.

Also, by this lynch we can see the indies' WinCon, which is also very useful.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 1 will end on December 17th, 23:59 GMT

I'd just like to remind you all that my only leads are the one quicktopic post I saw, and the fact that Drac assumed I could see a quicktopic to create my lead (the lead that no one knew anything about, at the time).

If Luis or SF says I can quote host PMs, I'll show you all the post I saw and you can decide for yourselves if the spelling/grammar is similar to how Drac writes. Sure, it all makes sense at the moment but my lead stems from Drac's spelling/grammar matching with the quicktopic poster's spelling/grammar. If you guys think it doesn't match, then my lead falls apart.

Unless someone predicted correctly and managed to copy Drac's writing... but that's nearly unthinkable.
Bigfoot, at would stage would you say the post was written? Late, middle, early?

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 1 will end on December 17th, 23:59 GMT

and that why you conclude me as anti-town.. Just because you trust bigfoot saying that he detect me through my grammar.

Yep. Later, I'm assuming he will post the quote and then we can decide from there; if he doesn't post anything adequate and you are town then we may lynch him.

Drac, why shouldn't we believe him? You have a distinct way of writing; I refrained from using my common *s in WW XXIII-II scum chat in case of this.

Early to middle, I think. It's Night 0, and the post is talking about Fenrir's alignment in the HP universe (not the WW24 alignment). I'm thinking they've revealed the character names to each other (preferably entire roles so I can strike gold later) and are trying to figure out who they actually are.

Yeah, from my experience with Fog Of War people don't usually deviate from their usual spelling/grammar just because they're using a quicktopic. WW veterans might be different if they expect certain roles to be in the game, but that's probably about it.
If I'm being fooled, it would mean that someone does use different grammar in QT and also predicted that they were being watched - it does seem highly unlikely that that occurred, considering how many not-so-veteran players are in this game.

Keep posting. More posts help me (and hopefully everyone else if I'm allowed to post what I got) conclude whether the post was yours or not. So far it's looking like it's you. I mean you didn't even address the whole quicktopic thing, you're just addressing the grammar deduction. This isn't looking good for you in my eyes.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 1 will end on December 17th, 23:59 GMT

that aside.. I'm starting to wonder where are the others... Looks like only a few of you guys are actually posting much

I wish i could clear out what i meant about the hunch... But this hunch is not about bigfoot is a scum rather then i felt like bigfoot has an access to QT

Welp, this confirms what I have on you so far, so thankyou for that.
If we want to lynch an Independent today, I'd suggest Drac. Otherwise I'm quite happy to sit on my lead and grow some information from it. As long as Drac's alive, it's veeeeeeerry easy for me to get information from his faction.

FoW is a bit different. Interesting how I was first time scum but refrained from all my norm, distinctive posting, like double *s, and tried to change how I wrote a bit. It's a common practice for me when in a anti-town QT so...

Bigfoot, you could just go to WWXXIII and look there. I'm sure his grammar hasn't changed.
