SS's ambiguous hunches in the beginning were actually that I was town. It was only until BV came around and posted his baseless argument that SS changed his mind. Then it was reinforced once MtC posted his "empty posts" argument. The first argument against me from BV was found to be false and the second argument against me by MtC is no more than pure speculation. If SS's thoughts are swayed by BV's false argument, how can we attribute any weight to his thoughts right now?

What he interpreted as empty posts was my thoughts about the game at the time. Those thoughts had no conclusions to them but that doesn't make them empty. MtC's conclusion that my posts are empty actually just came from a single post in Day 2. He also attributed this "emptiness" to metagaming, saying I don't do that in other games, except he's wrong and I have made many posts simply stating my thoughts and have not been called out for it in the past 2 games of werewolf HERE on PokeBeach. I'd also like to make note that I was town in both of those games. If you're going to metagame, metagame correctly. It's absolutely false and feels like it was trying to push a lynch with weak arguments.

"Pure speculation" is like 90% of Werewolf. :p Most of your post was just stating the obvious. Here, I'll analyze it. All the sections in quotation marks are quotes from the post I called out as scummy:

"We need to gather all the relevant night information and come up with the smartest lynch."
Again, like 90% of Werewolf.

"Also if your information would put you in danger of the night kill and your death would be detrimental to the town as the game continues, you should probably stay quiet unless it's urgent."
That's always what you should be doing.

"With that said, I think if we don't have any concrete leads we can look into the people who are just active enough to not be considered inactive but also not on anybody's radar."
Again, really obvious stuff here. This was at a point in the day where there was still a high chance of finding a good lead.

In the past, you've never just blatantly spouted obvious things every Werewolf player already knows. You're usually pretty straightforward.

Well that was very fortunate. I say we lynch Lenny now. Who's with me?

Yes, lynch the person who the leader of scum was going after before any heat was put on him. That really makes perfect sense, MtC.

This could easily be WIFOM. I'm not going to take it into account.

Ok. Humor me Lenny. Vote for someone.

Lol, I have to vote for someone why? Because you said so? You didn't even address any of my responses so why should I give you the respect of answering your question?

This late in the day, not having a vote candidate is very bad, and often something scum do when all the current suspects are their scum buddies.

Still no vote... Why? That's towns biggest weapon.

I won't answer your points yet because I see no reason to. Your case has changed. The reason why you should answer my question is because you are the current lynch candidate. I am not. This thing just seems seems like OMGUS to me.

@r3v3rsor Please post something of substance sometime soon.

Because if I actually place a vote on MtC without proper reasoning behind it then it IS OMGUS. I don't have the proper evidence to back a vote on MtC so I don't vote for him until he responds to me. If he responds in a way I feel does not make him come off as scum, I will not vote for him.

Town should never be afraid to vote for someone.

Lenny's still my main suspect. I've seen him do many scummy things this game, all of which are very different from his usual playstyle. Camo's made a great case on him as well. I'm fairly positive he's a wolf, and I'd like to see him lynched today. I'd also like to point out that I don't find you suspicious for the same reason Brave did, and I think his reason for voting for you was rather silly.

Squirtle Squad said:
So, during the last day period the plan was for me to use Steelix to protect Vom so he couldn't be killed.
Yet today, Vom was killed and I got targeted by at least three abilities.
For the scum to have killed Vom I had to be role blocked or target switched or something.
Scorched Feathers has claimed role blocking me.
Bigfoot has claimed he could have been involved with my target being switched to Lenny.

Now assuming both Bigfoot and SF are town, why would the scum target Vom for the kill knowing he would be protected. Unless they knew I was going to be role blocked or switched. I don't think that both are scum but I think one of them is!

Once the scum knew that my ability would not work (through being blocked or switched) they then switched my ability with BV (who must have the least helpful ability) so that the 'doctor' ability was out of the way.

This is actually a really good point. I wouldn't mind pursuing this lead tomorrow.

rev's continued absence is a bit suspicious, I must admit. I wouldn't mind lynching him, but I think Lenny is much more suspicious.

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

w-w-what? I'm being voted for?

I apologise again for my inactivity; I am actually fairly busy this weekend, and furthermore, these few days, I'm only able to be online at this time at night (I'm busy in the morning/afternoon when I'm out). I'm attempting to post when I can, as opposed to not posting at all; I often don't have time to analyse stuff in depth since I have two assignments due in two days. However, just to attempt to disprove the connection between this and my MoM chat behaviour (where I feigned inactivity because I couldn't come up with a claim), I'm going to actually try to do something useful now.

Now I'll try to respond to post 518 (where camo argued against both me and Lenny).

Camoclone said:
Rev is constantly putting off doing something and has been for this whole game. He hasn't posted anything useful at all and it's not like he hasn't had plenty of chances.
Yet again dodging posting anything of substance.

I believe I've offered my reasoning for why I haven't been able to say much yet.

Lenny said:

This doesn't make the BV thing seemed planned at all.
Again. Look at how planned the BV thing was.

imo, I think you're looking too far into this. I personally think that after looking at posts, it's a pretty natural response: when a newbie scum votes for a person early game, I doubt they would have planned this so deliberately. Is it even worth getting a fellow scum member modkilled just to attempt to clear one person (and not even very successfully at that)? I'm agreeing with Lenny on this one.

I know I don't have much to go on, but the least I can do is ##VOTE: Camoclone.

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

And yet again a kinda empty post...This seems a bit like OMGUS to me... Saying you don't have much to go on is an understatement; you have absolutely nothing to support your vote, unless you consider what you posted above to be a reason. Camoclone hasn't even looked too far into this, it's more or less a statement of the obcious possibility of Brave trying to throw off the town (well, not the best try, but w/e). You don't really counter something with your post, you don't defend yourself, and you try to cast suspicion without having suspicions. Sorry, but I'm not convinced. The vote stays.

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

I'm confident with r3v for now.

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

well, I tried. still, imo, at least my saying something is better than nothing.

I was attempting to defend myself, at least a little. Basically what I believe makes me look dodgy is inactivity/not saying much, which I'm trying to turn around slightly by offering opinions on stuff and actually posting. I'm not necessarily able to build a good case nor analyse stuff very deeply, but my aim is to do something.

I admit that vote was mostly omgus rather than anything else; but I'm not finding anyone else suspicious _yet_.

I've also caught up on more recent posts which I didn't address before. I will agree that SS raises a good point, that scum must've known or somehow caused Vom to not be protected. I'm aware that I'm likely to die today, but either SF or bigfoot (or both? unlikely) have a good chance of being scum. Also, if at least three actions targeted you, then so far we have:
-SF claimed roleblock
-bigfoot claimed possible target switch
-the Pokemon switch between SS and BV; which I'm assuming BV did. This is still a possible cause for the scum knowing SS wouldn't be able to use his role... (this might have something to do with what actions take priority), but it should still be a good idea to investigate those two.
I don't know enough to vote for either of them; I'll also retract my vote since it doesn't seem particularly useful anyway ##UNVOTE: Camoclone

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

GM DracLord is now subbing in for TheGuy!

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

Okay! So im thinking the day period will end soon...
Rev will be lynched which will be good, he's been quiet and the posts he have done have been bare and stating the obvious... Whatever he flips he hasn't been helping the town!

Because i think I'm a good chance of getting night killed again im going to post all my thoughts yet again, just a recap for you all, mainly my thought processes haha!
The suspects: rev (lynched today)
Lenny, has been more active since he's being targeted.. His posts have been pretty bare too.. Also Bv tried a last ditch effort vote on him, maybe scum trying to clear scum?

Bigfoot and SF. One of these two im pretty sure is scum, UNLESS, I was targeted by other abilities that night that were not made public or PMd to me... I made my case for them before so check that :)

I'm almost certain Camo is town! He's been really helpful to the town, could be trying to buddy with the town but I'm almost certain he is in fact town!
We didn't hear from Lance did we today??? @Camo did you hear anything?
He's probably one of the many inactives..
Anyway that's my thoughts from this day period :)
(rev, Lenny, SF, Bigfoot)! All of these could be scum.. However I think out of SF and Bigfoot, one is scum not the other (see my case for the details :) )
If I die, it's been fun guys!

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

Because the GM is a derp face, she forgot that Day was supposed to end ~9 hours ago. >_> I didn't think it was until tomorrow for some reason. >_< I'm going to start keeping the "time until Day ends" in the tally, I think. But for now...

Game Freeze!

Nightfall will be posted shortly. Please do not post in thread anymore, thanks. <3

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

Lab Assistant Athena makes her way back outside once Giovanni’s charred remains have been scraped off the concrete and she begins passing out meal menus. “So, everyone, please choose which entree you’d like to have, and, well, I was hoping some of you might have some ideas on how to help us prepare against the potential Team Rocket invasion since, well, you know, you’re all such great trainers and all.”

“Oh, that’s easy,” one of the Indigo League members piped up. “Kick out that guy; he’s a Team Rocket infiltrator.” He pointed over at rev3rsor who was sitting on a chair, petting his Slowbro and chatting with some of the Gym Leaders.

“Are you sure?” Athena asked, cocking her head to one side as she looked. “He looks at awful lot like Will to me, with that goofy tuxedo and all.”

“Don’t let the mask fool you, he’s Team Rocket in disguise, I’m sure.”

“Alright, I’ll go ask him to leave, I guess.”

Athena kindly asked rev3rsor if he would mind going out, but Will refused to go down without a fight. In the struggle, his wig fell off and his cravat was torn off; a large red R could be seen on the shirt underneath.

“Eeep, sorry guys, I’ve gotta go!” Struggling to piece together enough of his costume to be decent, rev3rsor ran out of the house as fast as his legs could carry him.

rev3rsor was lynched! He was Butch disguised as Will, a scum member of the Team Rocket faction.

“Huh, I guess you were right,” Athena replied. “Drinks on me!”

Nightfall 2

It is now the second Night phase. Those of you who have Night abilities are welcome to use them. Please PM me with your actions or with any questions you might have about your abilities. There is no posting allowed in this thread until after the Night phase is complete and I’ve made the Daybreak post.

Those who were expecting PMs for Day abilities should have received them. If you were expecting a communication from me and did not receive, please PM me.

Night ends at 11:00pm CET on Tuesday, February 24th. This is the same as 5pm Eastern / 1pm Pacific, or approximately 48 hours from the time of this post. I will post a final reminder for actions about 12 hours before the end of the Night phase if I have not received all actions.

Because Night will end so late in the evening for me (I’m usually already in bed by now!), Night processing will not begin until the following morning, so expect about a 12 hour delay from end of night until the Daybreak post.

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

This is your official 12 hour reminder to get any and all Night actions in! Thank you kindly. <3

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

grantm1999 is now subbing in for Jarizard!

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 2 is here! And so is Team Rocket?!

With the Team Rocket member removed from the lab, the party guests all feel a bit more relieved. Not because the threat was gone (they were too smart to believe that), but because now they had confirmed their suspicions. Team Rocket had infiltrated the party, and the others would have to be found out. Of course, various Team Rocket members have great disguising capabilities, so it would be hard to sniff them out, but it needed to be done for the safety of everyone’s Pokémon.

It’s hard to see everything that’s going on with all the people milling about, but a few actions stand out. One trainer sends their Pokémon out to track someone’s movements, while someone else sends their Pokémon to chat with another guest’s Pokémon. One guest focuses their mind very sharply on a trainer sitting at a different table.

Someone dumps a can of bright pink paint all over Steven’s clothes. He curses loudly and profusely, then stomps off to travel back home and get his suit in the washing machine before the paints stains it. Keeper of Night was killed! He was Steven, the Champion of the Hoenn League, and an innocent member of the Indigo League faction.

Someone’s Pokémon marches up to Blaine and stares at him with a surly expression on its face. The Pokémon snorts, then lifts Blaine up in its arms and marches him through the fields, into Professor’s Oak’s house, and all the way to the front door, where Blaine is unceremoniously dumped onto the doorstep. When he tries to protest and come back inside, the Pokémon kicks him down the hill, then slams and locks the front door. I guess Blaine isn’t welcome at the party anymore! Camoclone was killed! He was Blaine, a Gym Leader of the Indigo League, and an innocent member of the Indigo League faction.

After the hubbub settles down, the guests all look around to see if anyone else is missing (and therefore a potential Team Rocket target), but everyone else is present and accounted for. Huh. Oh well.

“Alright, everyone!” Athena calls out from the kitchen window. “I gave your meal orders to the chef and I’ll be bringing out the rest of the appetizers soon. I hope you’re all hungry! Especially since we have a few extra meals now that people keep leaving…”

Daybreak 3!

By now, all PMs should be sent out and everyone is allowed to post again. I do not typically send PMs just to confirm actions (nor to those who did not act and did not have anything done to them that would require communication), so if you acted and did not receive a PM, this simply means that your action worked as usual and required no information or confirmation.

If you notice any potential mistakes in either the Nightplot or in your PM, or if you did not receive a PM and you think you should have, or if you have any other questions, please PM me!

For the record, the Nightplot does not contain all Night actions, only a small selection of them.

As a reminder, all voting should be done with ##verb: playername and unvoting with ##unverb: playername, including the bolding in addition to the ##. Any private question can be directed to me via PM, but any public questions, etc. should be prefaced with @Athena: question so I don't miss them.

It will take a total weight of 10 votes to reach the Majority lynch today. This total includes any potential hidden vote weight that will not be shown in the public tallies. If no Majority is reached by 10am CET* on Saturday, February 28nd, the Day will then end, and the person with the highest vote weight at that point will be lynched. (* - 4am Eastern, 3am Central, or 1am Pacific; otherwise approximately the same time as this post in your own time zone)

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 3 is here, but we keep losing guests...

rev flipped scum. Looks good.

Now we are faced with the daunting task of finding out whether the second kill was an one-use ability or not, whether it was scum or not and if it wasn't, who is the town vigilante. And believe me, I don't like vigilantes in WW. Very risky role.

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 3 is here, but we keep losing guests...

I was out all day, was 99% sure that day was supposed to begin earlier, and expected a lot more to happen in this thread while I was out. Oh well.

I redirected Scorched Feathers, if that helps anything. He's the item fisherman, right? If he's scum, then I hopefully screwed up any of his plans. Anyway it's late for me right now so I'm going to bed, g'nite!

The end of Night was at 11pm my time, at which point I was already in bed, so I couldn't begin processing Night until this morning, hence the delay of Day. I did post about that in my Nightfall post, for what it's worth. :p

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 3 is here, but we keep losing guests...

I won't lie, I'm honestly surprised that Rev flipped scum haha!
KoN was night killed for sure, (a person did it) Camo was vigilante killed... I'm definitely led to believe that it was a scums power simply because after Camo was the one pressuring Rev so much then having Rev flip scum puts Camo in a really good light, so they killed him... My guess anyway.. With Camo in such a good light why would a townie vigilante kill him?

I think we've got two decent leads to go off today (if anyone wants to add to that with info learnt last night then please do!)
Lenny, obviously from yesterday...
And scorched feathers / Bigfoot... I'm definitely leaning towards scorched, simply because it's Bigfoot claimed to have had his role tampered with too and I think SF could be trying to play a little dumb about his boot throwing...

@SF what was your item last night??
And because I suspect you, and because I've done it every day so far
##Vote: Scorched Feathers

RE: Werewolf XXV: Party in Kanto! - Day 3 is here, but we keep losing guests...

Sorry to double post but my guess is that it's Blue's Machamp that performed the vig kill. Assuming the kill was scum that would make Blue scum!
That pokemon seemed pretty comfortable walking through the house throwing Camo out of the party, my guess is the pokemon was used to the property / lived there with Blue!!!!

Would the player of Blue please step forward?
