Also I'm not sure how I'm connected to Reinforce and I don't really understand the case on me. I know he said he knew the scum team so I'm going to guess he threw my name in there but I must have missed that post.

I'm Ricken and I'm the Universal Backup (pick a dead town-aligned player and inherit their ability). I've already picked the role to be the backup for and it was the ability I targeted bbninjas with last night. I can do the more formal claim later, including the role I've backed up, when I'm not on my way to bed.

Imo, Ricken could be a safeclaim for Validar, but I'm not jumping to conclusions.
 
Outrealm Skill Results: You made time to visit both Reinforce and bbninjas, and saw that Reinforce targeted Professor Palutena (and was targeted by mordacazir and bbninjas), and saw that bbninjas targeted Reinforce (and was targeted by Luispipe8 and Professor Palutena).

The way I see it now, the options are Reinforce, Luispipe and PP.

Reinforce- We learn nothing from lynching him, he is not a threat to the town since he can win with the town. The problem is that he can also win with the scum team and we have no way to know if he is with them or with us.

Luispipe- Killed bbninjas. If he flips scum then I think it would tell us that Reinforce is definitely with the scum team and we can then lynch Reinforce for obviously be the one who brought bb to 10 hp. If he flips town- not much info.

PP- If flips scum, we can trust Reinforce for helping us. Although it might be a way for him to win the town's trust and win with one scum member (assuming the other scum team is also 2). if flips town- not much info.


How much time is left anyway?

Him not telling us his results from last night is making me doubt his allegiance. If he had done so, I would be voting for scattered or Prof P rn.
 
I think the benefits of keeping @Reinforce alive outweigh the cons. At this point in time he is forced to vote with the town, as he'll be lynched otherwise. He can also function as a seer. Right now, I think Reinforce should post the post Professor Palutena's ability. He hinted that he couldn't say who scum are, but he never mentioned any restriction involving revealing supposed scum's abilities. The only downside to him being around would be Rightful God, but it could have its uses in eliminating scum at night. We know Luis can attack, after all.
 
@Camoclone, It depends on if you are willing to take a chance with @Reinforce. I am, but I understand if you aren't. Right now, I feel like we should lynch PP to see where Reinforce's loyalties lie. After that lynch and night phase, I feel like we can get a good read on him.
 
@Camoclone, if his loyalties lie with his win con, then the only person he can trust is himself. However, I know from experience, that people with his win con will always side with whoever has the most power. Right now the town has the most power. Unless a major momentum shift occurs, town should continue to stay in power throughout the game. He'd be foolish not to side with town right now. If there happens to be a major power shift though, we can simply lynch him.

If Reinforce allies with town today, scum kills him tonight for his betrayal. He can't win.
If Reinforce allies with scum today, town kills him tomorrow for lying. He can't win.

Frankly, there's no real great way for him to proceed through this situation unless he's got some sort of gambit going. I don't see how he can fulfill his win con regardless of who he sides with today.

So I guess the scary part about today is: how do you handle a player who knows they can't win regardless of how the situation unfolds?

If he's worked with scum thus far (considering he hasn't outed them yet, I think this is super telling) and if @quakingpunch73 is correct about them sharing a QT (which I don't buy tbh; it seems like a big reach), he's got every reason to ally with them. It's gotten him this far after all.

Also for what its worth, I think keeping Reinforce around would let scum achieve their win condition sooner. 2 scum achieve parity at 4. 2 scum + Reinforce achieve parity at 5, possibly even 6 if they vote as a block to force a tie.

Also since I'm done school right now, I'll be posting my claim really quick. Then I can see what Reinforce has to say about it.

I used Lovestruck on bbninjas last night, but because he died from weapons, my ability didn't save him, as it only protects from abilities and skills.

So yeah, I'm the doctor. Part 2: electric boogaloo.

Didn't really want to claim but I've got little choice considering that I'm one of the targets today. We lost our first doctor super early in the game. I don't want town to lose their second without fighting for it.

Reinforce is saying scum can win in 3-4 days. As far as we know, I'm the only role that can extend that number.

Now to see what Reinforce has to say about my role.
 
Honestly, I'm unvoting PP because he has a provable claim. The ability is provable, although kinda creepy considering the implications
