i've been drawing a huge Rapidash VS Zebstrika picture for a few weeks
I wanna see it!!

may not be done for a while, as im doing the rough draft on paper and my dad's borrowing my wacom tablet so he can draw the vascular stuff for the legs for all of Sutter (they had 2 images for arms, and apparently legs look exactly like arms, shoulders and all)

...wait... what if we got a medical needle mosquito pokemon?

Honestly I think we have enough object pokemon. We have ice cream cones, magnets, gears and a ton of rocks.

I don't think we have nearly enough. Think of what they could do with something such as origami or a playing card. The problem is that we get things like a trash bag that people think is rediculous.

A playing card would be confusing to implement in the TCG, though. :/

I don't see how.

There is already trainer cards that are treated as pokemon on the field and tons of other confusing stuff. A card pokemon would be as simple as any other pokemon Dx

Or they could make the card Pokemon, like... the card itself. A full art version, at least. Make it look confused that there's a bunch of writing on it.

To confound those who dislike object Mons and want more canines and things, there should be a hot dog dog. Their minds will implode because it's a canine so they should love it, but it's also food so it's "uncreative".
On a more serious note, do we have a Pokemon made of glass yet?

I think Id rather just have a Dachshund Pokemon than a hot dog.

What typing would a glass Pokemon even be?

Steel, Psychic, or a combo of the two, obviously.

Actually, now that I think about it, a glass Pokemon would probably be Ground type. Reason being, Ground has been used to represent "sand" or Pokemon from that type of area, and since sand is used to make glass- well you get what Im saying Im sure!

RE: What are some inanimate objects that you want a Pokemon based on?

Had some ideas of some inanimate object mons

Poison/Steel trash compacter
-would have a huge crushy thing and have a load of toxic garbage spilling out. GF could do something akin to Rhyperior+Geodude and mention that trashcompactermon occasionly mistakes Trubbish for trash

Ice/Fire comet
-would be a comet made of ice. It would have leave a trail of fire (I can see it being somewhat akin to solrock/lunatone). could have massive speed stat

Grass/Flying OR Grass/Ghost tumbleweed
-a ball of tumbleweed. Ghost typing because they could pokemonify it to be possesed

Ground/Psychic hourglass
-controls the sand inside its glass body, but when so much of the sand falls to the lower half it has a major thing happen to its mind. could have some kind of ability where something happens to its stats if it's HP goes beneath 50%.

We have several times as many animal pokemon as objects. You can't think there's "enough objects" without thinking there's already enough animals or enough pokemon in general. Do I need to repeat my entire rant that object creatures are as cool and important as animal based pokemon?

Get out of the thread if you don't like them :p

RE: What are some inanimate objects that you want a Pokemon based on?

I think we need more inanimate object Pokemon, mainly because we don't have very many and they're pretty hilarious. I could see a speaker Pokemon, a mirror/screen Pokemon, and possibly a printer Pokemon. They all seem pretty outrageous, but I think it's something Pokemon would go for, I mean the Rotom forms, who would have expected them?

Or do you dislike object Pokemon?

I'm not exactly super welcoming to naysayers, buuuut OP did ask :V

RE: What are some inanimate objects that you want a Pokemon based on?

A laptop form for Rotom.

No, really, that would be awesome.

Electric/Psychic? or maybe Electric/Steel. Electric/Psychic would be better because it's unique and a computer is 'intellegent' and whatnot.

RE: What are some inanimate objects that you want a Pokemon based on?

A watermelon Pokémon. :L

I've always liked food Pokémon like Cherubi. a watermelon would be cool' I also want a Grass/Ghost pumpkin/jack-o'-lantern and a Grass/Dark eggplant.

RE: What are some inanimate objects that you want a Pokemon based on?

Fruits and vegetables aren't inanimate objects though, they're living organisms. Otherwise all the grass types would count for this thread :p

I'm surprised there's no eggplant pokemon though. In Japan it's the stereotypical "gross vegetable" that children hate, hence why they appear in lots of older video games as "bad" pick-up items and as monsters in other manga and anime.

RE: What are some inanimate objects that you want a Pokemon based on?

A steel/fire toaster with volt absorb. There. It would be ridiculous, and therefore awesome.
