What's wrong with you people? I really don't understand how can you mistake jellyfishes for a giant octopus (damn, at least if he had said Octillery...) and just mix all canine pokémon in the same bag. Hyenas are less canine-related than people think and dogs/foxes do not replace wolves. Seriously? The only pokémon we have that remotely resembles a wolf is Manectric but even that one, I never thought of it as a wolf when I first saw it in R/S (I actually thought it was more feline-related)... I already said this before, we need a real wolf pokémon, kinda like Garurumon. That's a real wolf!

Well, we need more Ice-types in general. And not pure-typed ones. I'm talking crazy combinations, like Ice/Bug or Ice/Fighting. And I really hope someone in GameFreak decides to give them some other resistances. I mean...seriously. Only one resistance, and it's their own type.

I agree about the Ice types, especially the wolf. That would look amazing. I could see it being Ice/Dark, which would be really awesome. The only other Ice/Dark I can think of off the top of my head is Sneasel (and Weavile) and that line was introduced back in Gen 2 and look nothing like wolves.

You cannot seriously think that Arceus counts. Arceus can be any type you want, it's just a gimmick. That's not the same as having an actual ghost type, ghost themed legendary AT ALL.

And both your "krakens" are jellyfish.

A kraken is always portrayed as a cephalopod, and most often a squid. In fact, giant squid were what inspired the legend to begin with.

We have an octopus, but no squid.

But in all seriousness, I want to see a griffin. Maybe Dark/Flying or Electric/Flying?

I think a griffin could be a contender for Fighting/Flying, it has those big sharp talons and everything, and it's lion back legs could be stylized to be good at kicking?

For new type combos on new Pokemon, I want a Dark/Electric, Ghost/Psychic, Fighting/Flying, and most of all, Psychic/Poison.

Ghost/Psychic wouldn't work, but I can see Dark/Electric. Maybe a Pokemon that looks like a sphinx?

And the reasoning?

I thought quite the opposite, Ghost and Psychic are so close that its a wonder we haven't seen the combination yet!
It almost feels like the obvious casual combo, ala Rock&Ground, Grass&Poison, Water&Ice....

This is not a Pokemon hope, but I would like to have Choice items for each stat besides HP.

Lol I wrote about Choice items for Def and SpD in a joke gen 6 prediction article. Those would be so terrible I can't even handle it.

They would be screwing up damage calculations because you never knew if somebody were going to be using it.

No one ever in a million years would use it. What defensive Pokémon would rather have a +1 in either Def or SpD instead of full use of its moveset? They'd all get more use out of being able to alternate moves than a measly +1.

I think there should be a Wagtail Pokémon. It should learn all the tail moves, like Tail Whip and Tail Slap.

I would really like a Dark/Electric Pokemon that's slightly rare, or at least uncommon. It should be black with some bright electric blue bits (Or just some sort of neon, like Zekrom when it's all lit up). I have no idea what it would be though.

But a Wagtail is a bird, not a monkey.
The reason I chose that bird, is because they may use their long tail to scare/attack bugs, spiders and beetles.

The reason I chose that bird, is because they scare/attack bugs, spiders and beetles using their long tails.

It would be kind of like Rock/Ground, in that its two key weaknesses become x4 weaknesses.

Weak to:
Dark (x4)
Ghost (x4)

Resists:
Psychic (x1/2)
Poison (x1/2)
Fighting (x0)
Normal (x0)

It would have super-effective STABs against Fighting, Poison, Ghost, and Psychic types. Could be interesting
