XY What Current Pokémon / Moves Would You Like To See Changed into a Fairy-type? Why?

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

I can see Mawile being Fairy to balance out with Sableye.
As far as MY hopes/dreams/fantasies?
The Snorlax and Chansey lines, Spinda, the Panmonkeys, and maaaybe even Dratini and Dragonair?

... A girl can wish, right?

Now that you mention Dratini and Dragonair, they do have fairy-like characteristics. And a Dragon/Fairy would be SWEET!

The only issue would be that blasted Dragonite, haha. What is it now, Dragon/Flying? Ehh, I reckon if Altaria's Flying bit can go, so can the orange dragon. :U

If GF did in fact change Dratini and Dragonair to Dragon/Fairy, they'd have next to no choice but to make Dragonite Dragon/Fairy because if Dratini and Dragonair got an immunity to the Dragon type, and Dragonite didn't, no one would evolve their Dragonair. But I doubt they'd change any of them.

Granbull as a fairy would be epic. Dragons would fear him. As he marches across the frozen kalosian mountains, tracking them, hunting them. They tried to fight back, but it was all for naught, he was immune to their dragon attacks and his fairy attacks destroyed them in one fell swoop. Granbull the dragonbor... wait different franchise
Sorry guys, i got a little carried away

great, thanks a lot, now I want a dragonborn pokemon (not granbull, though, never granbull. gallade, maybe), as stupid as that sounds.

BUT

a new dragon move: SHOUT
could be learned by the more classic dragons (dragonite, salamence, rayquaza, druddigon)and the dragonborn pokemon. Whatever it would do, It would be sooo awesome.

Just now I thought of a cleffa killing a salamence and absorbing it's soul. he, he.

I hope there is no fairy type. The Cleffa, Igglybuff and Togepi families are perfectly 'Normal' to me and fairy would kind of ruin the game to me. No offense fairy lovers ... but I don't want Navi-Pokemon.

As much as I would love to see the design of a fairy/dragon Pokémon, don't you think it would be OP?

Dragonite has a habit of being the hard to take down out of all the pseudos recently though xD

Altho I don't see the Dratini line being changed, I'd like it lol.
Dragonite always looked so fat and friendly (LOL) instead of being the typical badass "Ill rip your face off"-dragon. And the "how the heck does this thing fly with those silly wings?"-aspect is fairy-like IMO.

Also I can't see it losing its Hurricane STAB.

It wouldn't make it THAT much overpowered though. It would make it tougher for sure, but not where it would be impossible to take down.
Bad:
-lose ground immunity
-gain poison and steel weakness
Good:
-lose its only quad weakness
-gain dragon immunity, losing dragon weakness
-lose stealth rock weakness

Well I agree on him resembling a fairy. Honestly if any dragon Pokemon were to be fairy, it'd be him; definitely. I mean all I think back to is his first TCG card of him sitting in front of a rainbow.

What if they gave dragonair a split evolution?
There are people who think that the step from dragonair to dragonite doesn't make sense physically.
Then we could have a fairy/dragon evolution.

I'd like that!
Would be fun to see how many genwunners would consider Dragonite family ruined because of it lololol

Hmmm...a pseudo-legend gaining split-evolutions, that would be interesting thing to happen O:

Back in 09 I made a Pupitar evolution that turned Rock/Dragon instead of Rock/Dark, and kept its blue armor on the outside, and its been the most faved of my gallery next to a 150+ fakedex which its not even part of... so I guess people dig the idea.

I could also see a Shelgon evo that stays defensive.

It's probably popular due to how awesome it is, i love it. And the unique typing is pretty cool too.
a split evolution could be really interesting, i wish this would happen now

ohmygod, the genwunners would have so much rage if dragonite changed, they were already peeved off with newtwo

I can easily see a more serpentine, fairylike dragon being a split evo from Dragonair. (Dragonairy!)

That split Pupitar evolution is niceeee :)

I can see a split Shelgon evo, but as opposed to Dragon/Steel I think Dragon/Dark could make a fitting type for it as well.
Think about it, Bagon's lifelong dream is to fly. It changes into a cocoon, but never comes out, just the cocoon gets bigger. It would be angry because its dream will never happen, which could eventually lead to it starting to get angry over silly situations, and eventually becomes so corrupted that it becomes brutally hateful.
Of course, knowing GF they'd go with the logical Dragon/Steel, but the Dragon/Dark type would be a nice idea as well.

If that happened wouldn't it be a steel type because it never became dragon like?

Do you mean the Dragon type would be ditched for Steel, or become a Dragon/Steel?
I can't see it losing its Dragon typing anytime soon, since Bagon and Shelgon are both pure Dragon and I doubt the line would go Dragon->Dragon->Steel.
Dragon/Steel would be one of the more likely type combos for it though.

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

lol, I just realized, since these would all be as OP as the original pseudo-finals, it wouldn't be uncommon to see competitive battlers use both pseudos of one line on their teams xDD

Like:
-Salamence
-"Steelgon"
-Dragonite
-Tyranitar
-"Fairynite"
-Scizor
(because notice how the two discussed examples both add a unique and very different type combo to the line)

so IMO we need a few dozen more powerhouses, so its not alt.evos for OP pokes that adds diversity to "OU battles" hahahah

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

Fairy is confirmed, gardevoir, jigglypuff, marill and sylveon are fairy types

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

now Bellossom Grass/Fairy please. To fix them same issue Gardevoir had (being ignored after Gallade shows up being more awesome).

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

Though many mentioned Marill and Gardevoir....I didn't see those coming!

If Jigglypuff is retconned, guess things look good for Chansey and Audino as well (obviously Cefairy would've been retconned regardless)!

I could see Bellosom as Grass/Fairy now due to Gardevoir and Marill; it would also help solve the lost type problem experienced when evolving from Gloom to Bellossom.

It seems like there could be quite a few Pokémon getting a Fairy-type add-on!

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

I'm thinking Chansey Normal/Fairy now (I thought pure Fairy first). I think that's even more horrifying XD
Ghost and Dragon immunity.

RE: If X and Y really do introduce the rumored Fairy-type, what current Pokémon would you like to see changed into Fairy-type? What moves?

^The only problem I have is why Normal/Fairy? Why can't they just completely remove the normal type from Jigglypuff and all those and make them simply pure Fairy? What's their problem with removing a type for good? They did it with the Rotom formes (even if they're just formes)...
