What deck do you think will win Worlds 2009?

Or if Gengar gets too big. The Sableye is always there to back you up.

SD is Secret Deck.

I expect seeing Gengar not winning. There's many ways to beat that deck just people play it's mirror which is a dumb play and lose to their opponent or win with luck sac power.

I wouldn't say that there are many ways to beat it when Nidoqueen is involved. Heck, the only thing I can think of that can KO without Fainting Spell is Blaziken PT using the 100 damage attack + burn.

Speaking of which, I'd like to see BlazTran, Legos, T-tar, or Flygon win. Those are all cool, fun decks, and not pure luck based.

Well with T-tar in the format. I think it can win.

Though, what are it's toughest match ups? Are most of them absent from the meta or is it the meta game we have now?

What's Legos? I forgot.

Legos is Palkia G with Pixies, I think
I think BlazeTran or Gengar with a tech like Aerodactyl MD or Metagross SV could do well
I personally want Rampardos win, cause I´m playing it
But even a Machamp with Lumineon SF and maybe Dusknoir DP could do well, not only in Juniors

Woah, I didn't really understand what you were saying 0.0

SV will be released but unavailable for Worlds, ya know? I like Dusknoir/Lumenion or anything other than the annoying LuxApe/Gengar to win Worlds.

^ I want a Dialga G varient to win since I might be playing it. lol

I know, that SV releases on August, 18th and Worlds are on August 14th/15th
but I thougt it could be olayed, because PotF is in Japan a really old set

Tyranitar is a really good deck in fact, it beats Gengar and a bunch of stuff.

Only thing it loses badly to is Lucario GL :[

if it's entering, my SD will win worlds.

so far it has beaten:
2 luxapes
2 kingdra
3 gengars
1 machamp
2 blaziken
2 flygon

and it only lost once, due a machamp donk.

anyone going to worlds, i would gladly give you the list :)

I'm going to Worlds. :)

Has it beaten Dialga G? lol! Everybody says their deck is going to win Worlds.

Well, Uxie can handle that.

I don't really know about Tyranitar going up against GeChamp. Gengar would be knocked out by Tyranitar and Machamp knocks out Tyranitar. Maybe Uxie Lv.X and Lake Boundary would do the trick against it.

Right now it seems like Tyranitar is going to hopefully win Worlds 2009.

oh yeah, it went 2-1 against it.
but the 2 i won where really close.
but every deck has a bad matchup :p

If anyone plays Mewtwo Lv.X against Dialga G they're doomed, if they are just thinking about Luxape being there.

Is it Bibarel? That would be funny.

I think some sort of rogue will win somewhere, here's some previous rogues that have won worlds
Scizor/Toxicroak-2008
Bannete/Manectric-2007(not complete rogue, but not common)
Solrock/Lunatone-2006(the most worthless world championship deck, but hey it won)
Eeveelutions-2006(runner-up deck in Masters)
2005, can't remember what won
2004, the only deck that won was Team Magma.
So rogues do have a pretty good track record, also a rogue for this year could be any of the following
DuskGar(Semi-rogue, has gengar so is it a rogue)
Gyrados
T-Tar(close enough,hasn't seen much play)
AMU(always a rogue contender)
Eeveelutions(will need some luck, but can always stay in a match)

Predictions
Juniors-Machamp or GeChamp
Seniors-Gallade(spread seems to win in this division)
Masters-Inferay(already won US Nats, so....)

Some other top finishers I think will be
Flygon
Gengar
Plox(can have another good showing this year)

Really!? Did you just say that!? Mother Gengar would Stolen that and what's really popular at the moment? Mother Gengar. Do you even play the TCG? Spread is dead. (This is why i'm leaving pokebeach.)

Tyranitar didn't even top at nationals? Why would it win worlds?

There's this thing, There's this thing, that opponent's don't expect. They will probably use the power sprays earlier and the surprise their opponent and where's the power spray?

Tyranitar was unnoticed at Nationals, nobody saw the card, but now. Everybody sees it.
