Hmmm.... that's interesting. Since I saw the fire room during the trailer, I kind of just assumed that it was the inside of that cathedral-like building on the western end of the map. As for what it is, I don't think its an E4/Champ chamber. It could be a gym, because we've seen gym designs become progressively more outlandish since Black and White (think Drayden's gym in BW2). My bet is that its some kind of temple akin to a tin tower or dragonspiral tower. It seems to have the ceremonial touch of a tower housing a legendary pokemon.
 
I think it's a legendary and or elite 4 Room, elite 4 member could disappear after defeat.
 
So... the villains this time are french electronica duo in orange Team Flare huh?

That actually looks a lot like the outside of their base! You have two buildings on the side of a courtyard and then a main entrance. The only question is where this thing even is. Underground?
 
The ground is where the shadows are. Increased contrast. It may be night time, but there's an equal chance for day time.
 
Hmm, you're right. But surely Team Flare wouldn't be so un-fab as to showcase their evil base in the daytime! It wouldn't be dramatic enough!
 
Showcase... you do realize it's a building, and unless they pulled a flying/invisible thing like in B2/W2 [GO FLYING BOATTHING GO], it would be there all times of the day...

If 'showcase at night', would you have to wait for it to be nighttime to get to this? Pffff fashion birds...
 
I was joking, you know.

But yeah, the location is unknown but it does look like their base. It even has the fancy stained glass and such, though actually I'm not sure how well that fits with Flare's modern style. Perhaps more hints towards some other fancy agenda???
 
my guess is it is probably the way to the champions room like on BW/BW2 how u go down on that pedestal which would irritate me because they've done that already twice
 
I think it's Team Flare's base of operations, and I think it will emerge out of nowhere (much like N's Castle) on that mountain below, which I guess is an inactive volcano. That would explain the sky-high flames bursting from the ground.

Kind of like "i gunna explore deh mountain" and then you discover it's actually a volcano --- and Team Flare's HQ.

...And I got a hunch it will have something to do with Yveltal. The whole destruction theme and whatnot.

Speaking of volcanoes, I hope we see the return of ash falling from the sky! That may not be snow on that mountain...

Hmm.... It could be the lair for Team Flare (It rhymes!), or the Champion/Elite Four's Room. Or, it could be a new feature in Pokemon X and Y.
