RSE/FRLG What if the original Pokemon games were on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console?

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

Here's what they sent me. I'm so happy :D
Hello,

Thank you for writing. It appears that you have put a lot of thought (and research!) into your request. As a fan myself, I can understand why you would like to see these older Pokémon games available to download for the 3DS. It's great to hear from fans about what they would like to hear from in the future, and I want to assure you that your feedback has been forwarded to the appropriate departments to use as they see fit.

That said, for a variety of reasons, we are rarely able to state with certainty if or when a specific title might appear on the Virtual Console lineup. We also do not have a listing of upcoming Virtual Console titles that we can provide you with and any release dates you might have seen are always subject to change. However, new titles are being added weekly, so there's hope that what you’re looking for will eventually appear. Keep an eye on the news section of our website regularly to see what has been released!

Karla Lerback

If you want to see these game on the e-shop, send them an email! Every email is read and they will always respond back. It may take a day or two, but it's worth it.

@PikabooPikachu

Where do I email them at? I would like to try and convince them, also.

NO!!! Yeah!!! :D being able to not worry about the batteries drying would be a great thing because after my silver dried... I kind of stoped playing the GB pokemon games...

There are guys on ebay who repair it for you for five bucks. You pay them, send it to them, they replace the battery, and then they send it back.

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

Here's what I got from Nintendo:

--------------------------------------------

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Nintendo of America.

I'm sorry that it has taken longer than normal for us to reply.

At this time, Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver have not been announced for release here via the Nintendo 3DS eShop in North America. More importantly, we do not have any information that tells us this game will or won’t be announced, but I will pass along your comments to the departments which make those decisions.

If or when we do make an official announcement about new games for the Nintendo 3DS eShop, we will share all the exciting details on our website (www.nintendo.com). Until that happens, we appreciate your patience and ask that you continue checking the website.

Sincerely,

Mike Chandler
Nintendo of America Inc.

Ooh. They're forwarding this. Maybe our hopes will come true :)

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

Well, considering that the e's in Pokemon weren't accented, I'm assuming that either you didn't use the accented e's or, for whatever reason, Mike Chandler didn't make the accented e. That tells me that it was an automated response and not an actual response from person to person.

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

It's quite possible the writer simply didn't bother with it.

I didn't know that. I just got a battery and my dad used his special Nintendo screws and knife thing to open it up and replace the battry. It works fine now :)
Thanks anyway :D

If it was an automated reponse, then there would be e's with the ' over them. Like nobody bothers with the funny e unless it's an offical statment thing or you have that charater on you keyboard.

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

You're welcome :) Yeah, you can do it yourself too, but you need to know what you are doing.

And I have é on my keyboard (it's part of the Hungarian alphabet) and even I don't bother with it all the time :D So no worries, it could easily be a real answer.

No, I meant that the sender (Driscoll) stated "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver" without the accented e's. Since the reply stated the phrases "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silder" without the accented e's, it's very possible that it was an automated response. They probably get thousands and THOUSANDS of e-mails every single day...do you really think they have enough time to personally reply to every single one?

If it was, the only important thing is that it was fowarded to higher up's at Nintendo. So does the e' really matter?

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

Well, tell me this. Has a magazine or article (OFFICIAL ones, as in ones actually published in the real world) or anything ever referred to Pokemon without an accented e? Press releases, reviews of the games, the official website, etc. state "Pokémon", not "Pokemon". Why would somebody at NINTENDO respond to an e-mail concerning Pokemon if they did not include the accented e? Although I understand what is trying to be said against me, all I ask is that you consider this. I'm not saying they're not gonna be on the VC, I'm not saying they will. I'm just saying that there's a very good chance that the e-mails were automated responses.

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

With mine though, It's kind of hard to pick though. Because she does mention that I did my research. Which there were many facts and statments suporting pokemon games onto the e-shop. If you'd like to see my email i sent them, could you tell me how to make spoiler button? Then i'll put it under one of those.
Other wise, it has became confusing to desifer wheather or not these were auto.

Edit
There might not be e's because it's not an offical that these games will be rerealse on to the e-shop, so pokemon is just spelt casually... I don't. I'm threw things up in the air now xD

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

Yeah I like this idea because I only got to play my friends blue in the E4 and I never got Red but I wanted it at one point and I never got to play G/S/C or Pinball. I have played Pinball and that one was fun too. How would we be able to save to the game without the internal battery dying though?:)

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

I want to email them too but I can't find the 'contact us' button. Does anyone know where it is?

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

Contact Us appears to only be on the US site. Nintendo's UK email link appears to be here.

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

Um... ok so what do I do now I still can't find an email adress...

RE: Original Pokemon Games on Nintendo 3DS Virtuale Console.

that would be quite cool actually. but my 6 year old brother has a 3DS and wont let me look at it.... sad for me.
