XY What kind of Gym Types would you like to see in Gen 6?

Believe it or not, we have not had a single dark type gym leader and I think we are highly due one.

We believe it, in fact we already know it. If Game Freak does make one then they should throw Spiritomb into the gym leader's team just to troll anyone who wants to use fighting types to take said gym leader on XD

I want a gym that hasn't been done last or early ( a.k.a rock,bug,ghost,normal,poison).
And the post about Tobias being the champion, I freaking agree :-D

This is how it should be in my opinion

First gym: Steel. (Reason: make a first gym that would blow everyone off, literally.)
Second gym: Dragon. (Reason: a weak Dragon gym for once; why do dragon Pokemon trainers have to always be powerful?)
Third gym: Ghost. (Reason: from this point, if you have not made a Pokemon party that uses different types this could be a highly difficult gym.)
Fourth gym: Fighting. (Reason: see Third gym)
Fifth gym: Rock. (Reason: we never really see a Rock type gym in the middle anyway.)
Sixth gym: Grass. (Reason: Grass is normally weak, so why not give it a little boost.)
Seventh gym: Fairy. (Reason: Let this FEMALE Pokemon gym leader give us a taste of the new powerful Fairy type [maybe she could help you defeat the villain in every Pokemon game!]
Eighth gym: Dark. (Reason: We never had a a Dark gym leader, so this gym leader will do everything he can to triumph you in a very unpleasant manner [remind yourself of N, but just as a gym leader and maybe add this gym leader with his own theme soundtrack].)

What do you think? :) Feedback!

Water resists steel, fire is super effective against steel. It wouldn't blow anyone off except those with the grass starter.

Second gym: Dragon. (Reason: a weak Dragon gym for once; why do dragon Pokemon trainers have to always be powerful?)
2nd gym dragon is fine, I don't think dragon-type in-game trainers are strong. Just the reverse actually, I think they're extremely weak.

Third gym: Ghost. (Reason: from this point, if you have not made a Pokemon party that uses different types this could be a highly difficult gym.)
How so, Ghost is immune to normal and fighting and only resists 2 types. You could sweep a ghost gym leader with any of the 3 starter-types (depedning on what pokemon the GL uses). It's fine as 3rd though.

Fourth gym: Fighting. (Reason: see Third gym)
Fighting resists 3 types but none of them being the 3 starter-types, again you can sweep a fighting gym leader with your starter alone. It's fine as 4th gym

Fifth gym: Rock. (Reason: we never really see a Rock type gym in the middle anyway.)
Well, there's nothing to argue about there.

Sixth gym: Grass. (Reason: Grass is normally weak, so why not give it a little boost.)
Gym placement doesn't "boost" a type, the diversity of pokemon they use does.

Seventh gym: Fairy. (Reason: Let this FEMALE Pokemon gym leader give us a taste of the new powerful Fairy type [maybe she could help you defeat the villain in every Pokemon game!]
A fairy user doesn't have to be female, that's kind of sexist. Your last reasoning is usually what the champion/ rival does.

Eighth gym: Dark. (Reason: We never had a a Dark gym leader, so this gym leader will do everything he can to triumph you in a very unpleasant manner [remind yourself of N, but just as a gym leader and maybe add this gym leader with his own theme soundtrack].)

Again, nothing to argue about here.

I agree I was being sort of sexist there on the Fairy gym lol. We have to have some females in the game anyway, as for the first steel type gym? I absolutely *censor* love the idea, making a so unique and weird type as a first type gym leader. This would be the most common feedback. (Why would you have a STEEL type gym as a first gym!? This has to be a fake, no way so random and irrelevant! But I love it either way I want to see more of what this game is about then!)

New and change is what attracts people it has been proven psychologically

Steel as 1st gym is a good idea don't get me wrong, I'd actually enjoy that especially since there's little difference between the rock gym as 1st

Common early types:
Normal
Flying
Bug
Electric
Poison

Steel walls all these except electric and the same happens with rock so steel as 1st gym isn't outlandish of an idea.

That's exactly why it's unlikely, unless they add some Fire, Ground, or Fighting types before that point, it might be too hard depending on what starter you chose.

They normally do that anyways. Mankey was added in early to help those with charmander, mareep and geodude can help against falkner if you chose chikorita, shroomish and seedot can be found before Roxanne, Psyduck and machop are available before Roark.

The respective elemental monkey is gotten before the Straiton Trio and riolu is before Cheren.

PG13 warning!

wat? How is that PG13? xD
There is a Roughneck in DP called Kirby with a Cleffa. I just thought it would be funny. cx

Better safe than sorry, I remember him.

I really want a female ground-type gym leader... I don't know why I just do.

Reminds me of an extremely awful movie

Riolu wasn't much help against Cheren unless you spent an hour training it to Lv. 15 so it can learn Force Palm.

I agree with the Dark type gym and we haven't had a Psychic gym since Ruby/Sapphire (Not counting the remakes). I also think we need a male hippie Grass-type gym leader with long hair, a tye dye shirt and a fringe vest with pink glasses and a beard who says "man" a lot.

Actually, we began discussing it here: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/thread-what-kind-of-new-gym-leaders-and-champions-will-there-be
But it doesn't matter, you can do it too I suppose.
But here are my thoughts of a Gym and Champion.
1.Psychic
2.Grass
3.Dark
4.Fairy
5.Water
6.Dragon
7.Electric
8.Flying

And I think the Elite Four should be like this:
1.Ghost
2.Fire
3.Ground
4.Rock
Champion: Multi-Typed Champion (I liked the fact that Cynthia was a Multi Typed Champion!

I hope that the type list will be:

Bug (confirmed)
Fairy (in rumor)
Poison
Fighting (in rumor)
Dark
Psychic
Flying
Ghost
