Other than the Bird and the Elk. What other Legendaries do you guys think there will be.
Im thinking that there will be a T- Rex, a Kraken, Bigfoot and a Dolphin which would all be legendaries.
T- Rex Ground/Fire
Kraken Water/Poison
Bigfoot Fighting
Dolphin Water/Ice

RE: What kinds of legendaries to you think there will be?

A dragon because Yggdrasil. Maybe the cute legendary is a squirrel (who messaged between the dragon and the eagle).

Or then Xerneas and Yveltal are based on Artemis and Apollo... the thid is... Zeus as a white bull? lol

RE: What kinds of legendaries do you think there will be?

The trio will be aquatic IMO.

Kraken Water Poison
Dolphin Water/Grass
Giant Squid Water

If it is German mythology, Yggdrasil would appear being Dragon. It would be call Zernior (or something with Z)

source of the trio being aquatic?

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dames_Blanches_(folklore) I know gamefreak maybe do something with the Dames Blanches. It's almost perfect. They can probably be the Legendary roaming pokemon of 6th Gen but all female.
If made I called it XD

RE: What kinds of legendaries do you think there will be?

In each generation starting from Gen.III, they've had at least 2 or 3 secret legendaries revealed a year or a year and a half after the game's release. They'll most likely do it again like they did with Jirachi, Deoxys, Shaymin, Darkrai, Arceus, Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect. They might come with new forms as well, like Shaymin and Keldeo (excluding Arceus and Genesect, as they are just minor changes in color).

How about more mythical aquatic creatures? A dolphin just seems too plain imo, and I find that the Kraken often resembles a large squid-like creature in modern culture.
-Mermaid (could have 3 being in their own trio)
-Loch Ness Monster thing
-Megalodon shark
-Sperm whale -possibly a Kami-trio style with a Sperm Whale mon and a Giant Squid mon fighting and a thingy-Siren maybe? calms them down
-Siren
-Sea serpent

Isn't lapras a a Loch Ness monster

I think its design was based on a plesiosaur, which is what the Loch Ness Monster is commonly shown as. But when I said Loch Ness Monster, I was thinking of it in a more "large scary marine monster lurking in the depths".

Ok i see where your coming from. That would be a pretty sweet pokemon.

I hope the new Trio are interesting. All three Pokemon in the Kami trio are at the top of my least liked Legendary Pokemon list.

T- Rex Rock/Fire
Kraken Water/Poison
Bigfoot/Yeti Fighting/Ice
Dolphin Water
I edited the original types to be more in my eyes appropriate.

I'd like legendaries to be based off of stuff like Lleu, Gwydion, Arawn, Spirit beings like Kachina from native lore. Why not 2 Raven legendaries that draw influence from Huginn and Muninn? Or a horse like Slepnir?

Ive been thinking about how the musketeers are like spiritual far cousins or whatever you wanna call it, of the Johto beasts, with them sharing similar personalities (proud, aggressive, feminine ~), being the second quadruped trio, found scattered across the region (in a different manner I know), share NO type with them... freaky things like sharing the exact same heights (Cobalion/Entei 2.1m, Terrakion/Raikou 2m, Virizion/Suicune 1.9m)... and how ones were born from dying in a fire, while the others saved wild pokemon from dying in fire. lol

So what if Sinnoh basically finished the "first round", and made 3 Psychics as a special trio to point that out?
Then perhaps gen VI and gen VII would see trios that are in some vague way equivalents of the Kanto birds and Hoenn golems?

Anyhow, heres my guess from this xDDDD

A trio of nature-related birds:
Grass/Flying
Water/Flying
Ground/Flying
(with a hidden fourth event member like Keldeo... Normal/Flying?)

Or something more abstract, perhaps some specific kind of liquid creatures (think Heatran or something? xD)
Water (water..)
Poison (acid)
Ground (mud)

(and then gen VIII in Sinnoh-style, but make 3 Ghosts or 3 Bugs that time instead? I'm definitely looking too much into this I know! LOL....)

As for the "extras"...
Id love to see some special legendary that controls gravity, lol.
Or a plasma-related one.
And temperature shifter?
Like, make it Normal/Psychic, but then depending on specific triggers, it turns to either to Ice/Psychic or Fire/Psychic...either turning slow and defensive, or fast and offensive.
xD

They'll prolly make something with a concept that can easily spawn interesting formes in later games.

I think there will be an evolution to Charizard. He will be like DARK/FIRE/STEEL and have new moves with BASE DAMAGE 200. He will be only obtainable after you collect Xerneas and Yveltas and give both a fire stone or maybe somekind of a new one!

....Please tell me you're not being serious.

Also, I've heard a couple of people say that they would like the mythical horses as a trio/quartet, and I have to say these could be done really well. Their types could be:
Unicorn-Ground (maybe an exclusive?)
Pegasus-Flying
Sleipnir-Fire
Hippocampus-Water
These types also fit in with the Greek elements. If one of them had to be event exclusive, I'd want it to be the Unicorn, just because I find it's more commonly seen in modern culture than any other (debatable) of them.

I also like the mentioning of a Bug-trio by Mitja. They could be things like a giant spider, a wasp/bee, a praying mantis, a scorpion etc.
I also thought of a Poison trio; maybe showing poisoned substances?
Poison/Water - polluted water
Poison/Flying - air pollution
Poison/Steel - reference to the fact acid can melt metals? also if given Levitate and a decent support movepool and good base defences it could be a pretty good defensive mon.
And maybe a Poison/Normal just to show how poison can take over everything.

Or a neat Bug trio would be ones that resemble different stages of metamorphosis but stay like that xDDD

Like a legendary caterpillar, a legendary cocoon and a legendary moth. lol

Would be a bit more diverse than the all-psy lake spirits eh?

I quite like that idea. Bug/something for the caterpillar, Bug/Steel for the cocoon (it'd be like Kakuna but competitively viable :D), and Bug/Flying for the butterfly/moth (really unoriginal but meh)
