From what I know this hasn't been working for a few days now. Maybe they got rid of it or just updating it.

It isn't showing up for me, either. But, I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Give the mods some time, guys. They are busy people. In the meantime, just look at the part that says "Unread" in the bar at the top.

It's not really that hard to look up to where it says: "Unread" next to the PM's.
I guess it was just a Luxury item that we can live without. :)
 
The same is happening to me, but I just look at the top left and read if I have any unread PM's. No harm done.

Same thing happening to me, I didn't reply to a message from 2 days ago without noticing.
 
I have been having this problem too, but I have been checking back often seeing as how you can access it from any page.
 
Yep, no problems here with my alerts. I feel so special. Someone should look into this, it's obviously causing great distress among members. ;f
