machamp won a couple of BRs here in the pacific NW. it still has legs if run by a competent player.
How is salamence going to beat flytrap? it has more complicated energy requirements and lacks free retreat. salamence is stronger but slower and i think that's going to be a problem.

people have been thinking that tangrowth/sceptile was justthisclose to being tier one ever since it debuted in the middle of the GG era. at this point, pardon me, i'll believe it when i see it.

Here's what I like for cities
Gyrados and Gengar are going to be last years Dusky and Kingdra
FlyChamp and Tangrowth will come in 3rd and 4th.
Salemance won't do too well cuz of Flygon.
The best rogue will be....
Arceus but only focusing on one to three Arceus.

Okay here's my pick for BDIF
Gengar.
More powers to prey on(Salemance, tangrowth etc.)
A level X that isn't great but works nicely w/
Metagross SV.
Also at No.2
Gyrados as long Tangrowth/ New Scizor Cherrim isn't popular.
Then FlyChamp will be somewhere in T3 hard to tell because we don't know how popular SPs will be and if Salemance is going to be good.

What?

Salamence pwns Flygon. Flygon can barely KO Sally back, whereas Sally KO's it a lot easier. And Salamence is not slow.

Brawler is correct. Salamence has a self powering ability. He can charge 1 energy on his own, plus the "1 per turn".

Maybe even mix him with Leafeon X....

Ehh, leafeon maybe. With Spiritomb you can get going T2. It's a very cool deck in that point.

It'll just be BR/World's Metagame + Random Jank & Spiritomb.

There's really nothing in this set that's amazing.

Hmm.

I have to agree, but Salamence seems too clunky, just all the stuff you gotta do to get him going.

it may be good, who knows

A lot of stuff?

Start with Spiritomb and have a Bagon. With roseanne this happens. With a good list you can be set up T2.

Spiritomb is ok... I dont see why is super hyped. Sure, evolve a pokemon, but still. Isnt that what we have candy for?

spiritomb is a sexier version of phione. i don't who it will combo best with (ampharos maybe?) but will certainly put a hurtin' on sp decks unless they can get free of it. it could resurrect skittles too, now that i think about it.

Well if you build your deck where you dont relly on rare candy and other trainers to set up really qucikly then it won't hurt you.

Not exactly an easy task to do, but definately possible. I just can't see it hurting decks as bad as it's hyped, it's like a Deafen lock, only worse.

But thats just it, with spriritomb, you dont need rare candy. He is your evolution card right there.

He screws up SP decks. Many SP decks have 2 or less Bebe's because SP radar does the same. GONE.

Does spiritomb turn on Tools?

if spiritomb catches on decks that can afford it will just tech in regice. i expect most gyarados decks to trade out registeel for regice just to deal with spiritomb/mr mime in the future. kingdra too if it makes a comeback.
