Pokemon When do you think a likely date will be for Generation V?

I seriously don't think they will run out of ideas.Look at all of these other cartoons and anime that keep coming up with new characters.If they can do it...Pokemon can too. Also...yes I am in favor of a Generation V if you haven't figured that out yet lol
 
Yeah I suppose you're right, but they're starting to run out of animals to use. What's next? A toaster-type Pokemon?
 
There is still a decent amount of animals they can use. One person even suggested a cockroach. Also who said they have to make only one Pokemon per animal. A good example is Delcatty and Meowth..both cat Pokemon but very different.
 
I for one, am for generation V. I agree with you though, Gamefreak734, they should let us wait untill everyone wants new Pokemon, I think they should slow down a little. I mean I first discovered that GSC exsisted when I was little, then Ruby came out, then emerald, the fire red, then diamond! IT WAS MADNESS!! A way to put it is, a huge whole was being burnt into my pocket.

On another note, I don't beleive that they can really run out of ideas. And who said that it had to be animals? Rotom is what? A bolt of electricity, its a pretty decent Pokemon right? They could start just coming up with things, and they can still use ghosts, plants, shapeshifters, and even humanoid creatures.
 
There IS IS IS IS IS going to be a 5th generation. Did anyone read WPM's interview with the pokemon guy! Hey said there was, i would say 2011 or 2012
 
I hope they don't make a 5th gen.

They should just focus on making G/S/C remake and possibly more titles that incorporate two regions into one game.
 
Pokemon was released in America in 1996 or so,
It was a hit.
So then came gen 2 , then gen 3. Then it lost popularity.
Then gen 4 came , popularity popped back up.
If they can make money from it , they are going to make it.

It all has to do with money and how far they think they can go,
