Where to buy in USA?

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

Everyone says buy booster boxes it's cheap, but when you have like £15 a month then that's not an option. I know what it's like not having loads of money, i'm a student it's hard. I don't have the money to buy a box, so I buy packs, tins etc. It's part of the fun, I bought 4 packs today and got Klinglang holo. I spent my £15 but I am happy, i'm fortunate enough to be able to get packs, when I know full well that there are some people who can't. Be grateful for what you have. I get packs regularly, I hardly ever get amazing pulls, the past 3 months i've opened up about 30 packs, I've pulled.

1 EX
1 Prime
6 Holo's
1 Catcher

Not the best pulls, but when I do pull a good card I appreciate it more.

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

I understand that I wait until I save the money for booster boxes I trade in the mean time to get the singles I need to complete sets and so on

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

Yeah I would personally save my money and either buy a booster box after two or three months or I would try to invest smartly and buy and sell cards for some small profits to get me to my goal faster. It's what I used to do when I had little to no money for cards...

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

I can't sell on eBay or Amazon. I can sell on forums and YouTube that's it, but from my experiences because the £ is worth more than the $ it's hard to confirm a deal when selling to the US.

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

all I do is sell how much it would cost in pounds to the us dollar that's what I did when the AUD was getting high

I could see that being a problem. Part time summer job ftw? :D

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

Yeah, I am trying to get a job, though I still can't sell on Ebay or Amazon. £13.50 is like $20. So if I want to sell something worth £13.50 that's $20. If it sells on eBay here for £15 but $18 on Ebay US. I end up having to lower my price,or they have to pay more. It's rather annoying, it's like a tax on people in a country with a better economy lol.

Well it depends on what you are selling. I for one always search ebay.co.uk because its results never show up on ebay.com which is super annoying even though I select the worldwide option.

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

Yeah, I know that just currency conversation is rather annoying. Though most people don't buy outside of eBay or Amazon anyway so I can't really sell.

RE: Best place to buy Booster Boxes?

http://Coolstuffinc.com

Really reliable, has a rewards program, and has free shipping to most states. Even if you have to pay for shipping it's like $100 total, and it ships 1-2 days leniance of 2 weeks. Plus, if you're looking for singles coolstuff has some pretty good prices, most are the same or a little more than ebay.

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

Does anyone know whether coolstuffinc.com is good or not? Someone on the 'beach recommended it for boxes but I'm not sure abut packs.

Whenever I pull a regular holo, good or bad it's good enough for me.

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

Yeah, I pulled a Reshiram Holo and Zekrom Rare reverse out of one of my two Plasma Freeze single blisters. I was really happy, since it was a new set as well.

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

The new blisters look even easier to weigh...

They don't have the plastic the old ones did to throw people off.

I wouldn't buy them now, but I went my stores first thing when they came out and bought 35 packs.

1 FA 2 Shinies (Empoleon) and 6 EX plus 7 holos.

But many stores didnt have it which was really annoying.

Anyway the new design just looks like its easier to weigh and I'm not reliving my time when I bought 27 packs got didnt even get a holo.

Let''s just conclude that if you aren't pulling anything good at the place you buy packs then their is some funny business going on, nuff said.

There's a guy at my local store who never opened an EX, an Ace Spec, a Shiny or even an FA, no funny business as I've opened tons of them, just bad luck

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

I've opened two blisters, got them online as stores don't sell them. Pulled a holo and rare reverse out of two blisters. I was happy with my pulls.

Haha, that was to conclude the off topic discussion of weighing. It is possible to have a terrible run but most of the time if you pull nada from places like walmart etc...then you should probably look elsewhere...

RE: Buying Individual Packs Online

Does anyone know if dacardworld weighs their booster packs? Thinking about doing business with them..
