Well, there is a lion set in D/P though they dont look much like lion!
Persian is a lioness, as i've said before(please read the previous posts!).
An worm, well both wurmple looks like one!
 
As much as the name suggests otherwise, Wurmple is more of a catipillar than anything. I don't think a true worm has been done, but err... do you want one? :D
 
BTW i just noticed something...:

Totodile when it's jaws r shut only the top row of teeth show just like an alligator but Croconaw & Feraligatr when there jaws r shut both the top & bottom row of teeth show,what that means is that Totodile is based on an alligator while Croconaw & Feraligatr r based on crocodiles....

There have been enough discussions on lions and tigers....i think!
I believe dewgong is a manatee.
 
How about a lizard or an ant? or maybe a squid, prawn, cow and of course many more... I can't state all because it can't fit in here....

No, dewgong is a manatee....you see, the name dugong is another name for a manatee.And dugong is homophonous to dewgong....
I think we are missin cranes and a swan. You people dont think that golduck is a swan..do u?? I would love to see a second stage evo. of golduck turning into a beautiful swan....
