Best game this year, what else can be said? It's an old school Nintendo platforming Mario game that people have been waiting for almost two decades. It's obvious this is the best Wii game of the year.

I was recently looking at the list of the other Wii games released this year, and it was a huge "meh". I guess Kororinpa 2 and Madworld (and Metroid Prime Triology if that counts) were fun as well, but I'm very glad a new decent 2D platformer came out this year, so NSMBW definitely gets my vote.

NSMBWii is just timeless fun combining old skool mario epicness with new epic gameplay & graphics. There's my vote.

New super mario brothers wii because i only got it yesterday but already love it and have played it for ages, most addicting, fun and challenging game for the wii yet.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

It's filled with references from SMB3 and SMW (the 2 best Mario old school platformers), including but not limited to Castle Theme, Yoshi beat when on Yoshi, Mushroom Houses, Ghost Houses, Airship Fortress, secret exits, Koopalings...

At the same time, its full of novelty and feels like a whole new game.

Its simply awesome.

New super Mario Bros wii. It's one of the few wii games that you can have fun playing on a regular basis for long periods of time. Unfortunately, most wii games are a bunch of tauros chips, so there aren't a good amount of games in the conversation.

Screw the rules, I have Mudkipz
Anyway, my vote goes for Punch Out Wii.
It has lots of replay value, especially for those (like me) who grew up with Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and is an awesome fun workout with the WiiFit Board.
