Xbox: A New Generation Revealed! Introducing the Xbox One!

Yeah, they pretty much realized they were gonna lose money with these stupid restrictions and did a total 180 HURRRRRRRRRRR

But in all seriousness, they're still a bunch of greedy losers. The fact that they could have changed these policies at any time before this just proves that. At least now those who were actually going to buy a One are going to have an easier time of it.

Even with this, I'm sticking to Sony. Sony still beats Xboner in terms of online membership/play, exclusives, and price of course.
 
This all felt like a business move to me.
Reveal a console so god-awful that everybody who knows anything hates it, then show off the real specs later when everybody knows what the problems with the revealed thing was.
Whether this theory is accurate or not, I lost trust in Microsoft.
 
Even if they removed all of those restrictions, I still have no interest in the console. Microsoft doesn't make the kind of games I like, mostly bland shooters and stuff like that. I can trust Nintendo and Sony to make something that I'd like, so I'd choose both of them over Microsoft any day of the week.
 
I was going to buy an Xbox One anyways despite all the hatred towards it. But, I'm happy they changed some things as some of their restrictions and such were completely bonkers.
 
If there weren't any restrictions to begin with, I probably wouldn't have cared and just gotten the Xbone. But like, PS4 is like 100$ cheaper, and Microsoft pissed me off, so yah PS4.

Hardly. I still expect the PS4 to crush the One in terms of sales. Some of the restrictions might be gone, but everyone still hates Microsoft for putting them there in the first place. PS4 is cheaper and has better exclusives anyways.
 
Ahahaha, this is so funny, seeing Microsoft crawl Go Home with their tail pulled between their legs. Can't undo the huge PR damage, but now they have a chance of actually selling the console to some people.
 
Microsoft is filled to the brim with greedy buttfaces. This is a known fact. "If you want an offline console, get a 360 and play that" really ticked me off, and it still is. But I personally am liking the panicked backpedaling that Microsoft is doing, even though it seems to be a trick and has been all the while. Unfortunately, if this is all a big business plan to look like the hero in the eyes of the consumer, changing their console because they "Saw our complaints", I think they have another thing coming. If they had just revealed, say, an Xbox 360 with everything we did like and without the things we didn't and added in all of that TV shenanigans, I think it would have been a much better business move and I think that it will hurt them in the long run that they didn't do that.

Not me. I was so looking forward to this thing crashing and burning. It's like Microsoft is constantly disappointing me.

About PS+, what free games do they have up? Like how big of a budget are we talking, here?

Here's July's list of free games. 4 AAA titles for the PS3, and the best Vita game out there (Gravity Rush). And many, many more.
