Realisticly you know you're a pro when you can beat Machamp with SP WITHOUT ANY MACHAMP COUNTERS.

You know you're a pro when you go to a new state and know hardly anything about the meta and come in second at cities.

You know you're a pro when you can beat little kids by using Uxie the entire game and winning.

To be fair, there's no such thing as a Machamp counter, and Gigas can be Luxchomp's biggest nightmare.
