I never beat Luxchomp with Gigas, but maybe it's just my build.

That's part of it; another part is who gets set up the fastest. If Luxchomp can get running well enough, and start spraying Sacrifices, Gigas will lose, but if Gigas is already taking prizes by T2 or T3, it's hard to stop
 
@Azelf Master, that actually happened to me. :D I gave him a RH Poochyena and Mightyena.

I did that. (on the 3rd or so turn.)

You know your pro when the judge asks you for deck help.
You know your pro when you are undefeated.

 
There are like three legit quotes in this thread so far lol.

"You know you're pro when: You use a worlds playmat" is definitely not one. They sell the playmats at worlds, ebay and sometimes even give them away as door prizes afaik.
 
You know you're a pro when your first five prizes are from Rapidash AR, and you finish with Uxie - and you're not playing against SP.
