This Friday (in Japan)...

The selection of Owners we have to work with seems rather small. Is Pokémon hiding more from us?

... and Cyrus leveraged his business skills to amass a private army of a whopping 24 Pokémon (including Lv.X's and reprints, but who's going to argue with Cyrus at that point?).
Now we're in a situation where Pokémon is sampling popular characters from a variety of eras. If anything, I would say the better question is "how many Owner's Cards can we expect" than "How many Owners will be featured."

After all, both the volume of owner's Pokémon and the number of owners (9 versus 23) have varied (this is without even considering Japanese products like the VS set and the half-deck promos). We don't even know what the Trainer support for these cards, if anything, will look like.

Though I expect something closer to the Gym era in terms of functionality, written for a single Trainer rather than the whole gimmick, they could feel as powerful as Galactic's Secret Machines for all I know.
I just realized why the Giovanni battle in Pokémon Origins makes sense. You know, the one where Rhyhorn sweeps most of Red's team (even KOing Victreebel with Thunder Fang)?

Red was literally that one kid who trained his starter Pokémon and nothing else, just like the rest of us. Just look at his team in each battle scene of the show. They had to make him relatable somehow.
I don't feel like the Full Art Terapagos ex that got cut from Stellar Crown is going to be featured in the Terapagos ex UPC. It's just the basic Full Art and not something like the Mewtwo and Mew ex Alt Arts that got cut from 151 for the Mew UPC. Will this be another card like Lapras and Cinderace?

I mean, there's not much "premium" about the card choices for the other Ultra Premium Collection this year, so I wouldn't rule out the Full Art Terapagos ex.

Hey, I also do YouTube! Let's support each other:
Do you think Ian Robb's disqualification was valid?

@Kookaburra Kong He wasn't disqualified, he just received a match loss (meaning he would retain his placement and keep his winnings). No, he was not rolling dice and @Charmaster:) it was no accident, he had no dice in his hand when he did it. Source: I have eyes.

Yes it was justified. Bro knew exactly what he was doing. Probably didn't think they'd call him out on it, but you gotta be a special kind of stupid to think that doing that shit _on stream_ would fly.

@PMJ , I'll take your eye's word for it, considering I don't want to watch the clip myself.
Perhaps someone bought legit packs from Meijers, opened them, repacked them with fake cards, and returned to the store for refund. And then you bought those packs unsuspectingly. Plus, why would different print runs have different font thickness and attack damage? Makes no sense.
My favorite YouTuber is celebrating his channel's 3rd anniversary with a tournament featuring four decks from a fan format called Nagoya Hall of Fame (inspired by Japan's official Hall of Fame, which they got instead of Rocket-Legendary Collection as a final solution to all the broken classic era cards).
