  • The ten questions one would be fun, so long as you don't start asking anything too personal of me.
Truth be told, my local library was actually taking applications before New Year's Eve. I submitted mine, but never got called in for a job interview (which kind of sucks because I need money for bills and stuff).

But anyways, about the profile comment game... Was it something you started or Lucky Fire? I've noticed you two seem to leave each other a lot of fun comments/actions/etc. If that's what it involves, then sure. I need something to sort of get my mind off stuff, and don't mind people I chat with a bit anyways leaving fun little comments on my profile.
Yep, for a change. I'd still find a way to get online with my laptop to proofread your story anyways after you send it. It would've just meant having to find time to get to the library.
Aside from me, Zyflair and DNA are probably your best bets. Only thing is that I'm not sure how much time they have for actual proofreading. I have some time on my hands due to the slump in my work schedule and, with my grandma in the hospital for the time being, I have somewhat reliable Wi-fi access for at least a few more days.
    MrGatr, *Lucky dodges it!*

    *Lucky uses Wake-Up Slap!*

Wait, what Pokemon are you? Feraligatr, or Krookdile?
MrGatr, *Lucky transforms into a HUGE DRAGONAIR!*

*Dragonair slaps Gatr with her tail*

    Nope, not going to use Coil. -.-;
Feb. 10th? No problem then. Still, I'll try and be quick about getting back to you with a proofreading, though, so you have ample time to fix and adjust things if you want to.
MrGatr, I'm moving into a new room anyways. :p

    * Lucky attacks Gatr with Leech Seed!

Wait, Vulpix can't use that... *transforms into a Bayleef*
Yes. I'll try and get it back to you ASAP too.
Just send it when you're finished. I want to make sure I catch everything I can in one fell swoop.
I'm presuming you mean it's a short story contest; in which case, yes, it is very much possible to write a good story with a five page limit. Also, I'd be glad to proofread it for you.

However, in order to double-space for printed version, you'll have to set MS Word (presuming that's the word processor you're using, since I know you've mentioned it a couple times) so that the lines themselves are double-spaced instead of just hitting the Enter key twice after each new paragraph (The only reason you do it for posting online is because automatic spacing and indenting won't register on forums like PB's).

I have an older version of MS Word I use for writing, but I don't think newer versions have changed too much. You should still have a tab labeled "Format" near the top of the screen somewhere. By clicking on that, you should get a list of options; in order to format the spacing, you'll have to click on "Paragraph." That should open up a window with two tabs, one labeled "Indents and Spacing" that lets you adjust how much new paragraphs are indented and how far your lines are spaced. Under the "Spacing" subheading, there should be a box labeled "Line spacing" that you can use to switch the spacing from Single to Double, which is considered standard for most professional reports and such (since it's easier to read when you actually print things). After that, you also can reset the left-hand indent to a half-inch (or .5" as it should appear in the indenting box); you can just hit the Tab button to indent every new paragraph like normal while writing, but I've found this little trick helpful when doing essays in college because it makes the indent automatic (thus eliminating the need to hit Tab button all the time).
MrGatr, I'm not a Heatran, I'm a Vulpix. I'm still restrainaint to fire, through. :p

    * Lucky throws her twin at Gatr
MrGatr, Nooooooooooo I only like 2010 ponies.
*Lucky throws all of the world's ponies at Gatr*

Yup, it includes avatars too :p
