safariblade, OH YOU MEAN THAT YOU'D ADD 90 TO HIS RANK. Okay I feel stupid. I really misunderstood that. But I still think you should calculate using the difference of rating instead. If PDC and Bippa faced off with 2000 points each whoever wins gets 200 points for being evenly matched. If me and a random person with 100 faced off, we would get 10 points for being evenly matched. I think that's still a bit unfair.

Wouldn't that mean he gets 10 from me (10% of 100) and 200 for him (10% of 2000) for a total of 210? .-.

Okay lets say Bippa and me were facing off. Bippa had 2000 points and I only had 100. If I beat Bippa, yes I"d get 210 points, but that isn't likely to happen. If bippa beats me he'd still get the 210 points for winning a match he was easily going to win in the first place. He could just play the lower ranked players and rack up points easily, but if I play someone about 100, I'd only get 20 points. Why does he get 210 points for beating someone that he's favored to win against, while I only get 20 for beating someone that's about even as me? Also, lets say Bippa and PDC faced off each with 2000 points. They're evenly matched and if one of them wins they get a whopping 400 points. If I were to play someone with 100 points, while I had 100 I'd only get 20 points for playing a person with an even chance to win. Why do Bippa and PDC get more points? I know 100 and 2000 is over exaggerating a bit but you get my point.

safariblade, no the real problem is, if a higher tier beats a lower tier he gets a ton of points, for a match he's already favored to win. You're not supposed to get that many points for playing someone who you should easily beat.

Yeah, I know we're using yours which I don't mind I just wanted to let you know what I thought could go wrong later in the system. Basically once you reach a high rank it's extremely easy to stay there, while if you're in the lower ranks it's hard to move up.
