  • Okay, so this is going to be long, but Im upset right now and I want to rant so even though you are at camp (have fun by the way) Im still going to have this really long message about what is happening:
I published my book March 20th and I was previously in a creative writing club with Coach P as the head and he helped me a lot. When the book was published he supported me and is helping getting the news around in the community. This includes contacting his friends in charge of the CFN(Canadian forces network) and AFN (American) to put it out on their radio/tv channels. He is also trying to put it into the stars and stripes newspaper.
Over break with my mom and I we created pre-order forms for a book signing that the entire office staff and Canadian and german office agreed to. Tuesday during seminar(like Spartan time) I passed out the said forms to the students with a small little summary that I would say before heading to the next class. The 7th graders were having an assembly, but at the end Coach P got up and said a few words and told them they could bring the money to either him or Liam, my brother.
Everything was great. This morning I should up to school and my mom did her normal email check and found an email that had been sent out to the entire staff of Afnorth International Elementary-High School.
The email was a few paragraphs long but the jist of it was that we are proud of the student at our school who published her book but selling things on school property is against the law so promoting her book is not allowed. All of the forms have to be destroyed, no one can buy a copy from me, and teachers/students are not allowed to talk about it in a positive manner as to increase sales.
Immediately after we read it together three teachers that my mom worked with came into the classroom (at different times, but all close to each other). Each and every one of them was on my side on the events that took place. Especially when we mentioned we had already asked the principal face to face it this was all right to do.
They say I broke the law and they are calling Legal and we are going to have another meeting. We already had one with just my mom, me, principal, vice principal, and Coach P who has been drawn into this by being my biggest supporter at the school.
Teachers are telling us to get the union involved and to send the letter and information about the situation to the Stars and Stripes. They want us to make a big deal about this. Coach P is frustrated and doesn’t care even if he gets fired (which has been threatened) for supporting me. He said that if we were in any other school there would have been an assembly called after the book was published to congratulate me.
Well, sorry for such a long rant. I’m…. frustrated…
TheGuy, Yeah. Most people (including me depending on which class) head to the pod that your classroom is in and since there is so much time, chat outside of the classroom before heading in :p I was late once for Spanish class once (class after lunch) because I was up in the library and forgot to look at the clock.
TheGuy, Yup, every now and then. My math teacher is stern when it comes to showing up on time. One girl showed up one second late (literally) and he gave her a fifteen minute lecture on the importance of Math and getting as much as you can and every minute/second counting and her being late was unexceptable and then gave her a tardy
TheGuy, We have, like ten minute passing periods. And each class is around an hour and a half so a lot of the teachers are dying to kick us out and we get out early from time to time (we have no bell system due to the germand having a different class schedule as well as the elementry schoolers). Other teachers always start ten minutes late because they enjoy their time at lunch (*cough*spanish and english teachers *cough*)
TheGuy, Its a military school. There are very few spots were there isn't cameras. But, yeah. I avoid them when I can :p They are easiest to avoid when I am going to PE and hardest to avoid when im going to computer class
TheGuy, Yes! And it is ridiculous! My mom is obsessed with constantly taking pictures of us. I am being forced to get used to them, but I still dont like it :p I mean.. My school has security cameras all over the place. I am one of the only students who knows where everysing security camera is :D
TheGuy, It is a very weird trait to have as a writer :p Thanks :D I just about figured that. I think I have some of the weirdest fears on the planet. Cameras and people reading my books!
TheGuy, huh, Gecko Grill? I actually dont remember that name of a restraunt :p But then again I have forgotten the names of a lot of restrautns.

No, I didn't mean that. I'm weird. A stranger or aquaintance reading my book doesn't bother me at all. They can tell me something bad, goor, or nothing about my book and it doesn't bother me. But when my friends read it... I dont know what to think. I guess I dont want them to judge me based off of what I wrote. Im probably one of the only people who writes a book and is afraid of people reading it.
TheGuy, What restaurant? And I think homework is a general bummer everyone has to deal with :p Tell me what you think of my book when you finish it... Although You dont have to read it.
TheGuy, My break was great! This week had one day of doing nothing (which was amazing) and another day of almost nothing (we just went to the Dutch theater that night). I have to go to school monday, so I am doing homework today (so boring!!) Hmmmm, I think that is everything besides my book arriving in the mail. My break has been pretty amazing!
    How've you been?
TheGuy, Man, now I want a castle even more :p

I can't believe my relative are leaving tomorrow morning! It's been nice having some Arizonians with us. I can't believe I have been away from Az for eight months already...
TheGuy, Happy easter to you as well!

And it would probably be better to keep Liam out of the secret, but searching for a secret room is probably hard and the extra help would be needed. For example the secret room in my local castle was used to hide the owners brother from all of the revolting french people in the french revolution and they never found him.
TheGuy, Your faith in my family is pretty low, but that is probably true. Although, if we owned a castle I would probably make Liam search for a hidden room or chamber with me. There has to be one in every castle, right?
TheGuy, I can totally see that happening. My dad wants us to buy and move into this near by castle, but my mom keeps telling him no. The arguements get to be quite interesting.
TheGuy, Mhm, it is just on the other side of the cotton field from my house. It has two moats and two drawbridges :p I love the dungeun and the secret rooms hidden inside of the walls.
TheGuy, Dutch make absolutely no noise when watching a movie.,don't laugh, don't jump, don't cry... Just STARE. It actually is a bit disturbing. When I was watching The Hobbit with a few friends from school we were actually 'shhhhhhh'ed

I guess, but the tour is hilarious. "look at his pretty bridge were couples leisurely stroll. The bricks are pieces of the Bastille and the opening day of this bridge was after the general official came ome to find his two daughters had killed each other. He cried and had an elaborate funeral service for them on this bridge (now known as the bridge of tears, except in French)"
Everything is like that!!! Look at that beautiful island in the center of the lake, that used to be a place of torture! Look at the beautiful town square. Over 2000 executions were held here
TheGuy, Bleh,mi hate DBQs I don't know why, they're easy... Maybe it's that I have to do one very other week that I have just come to dread them a bit :p

Yup, I'm impairs now. We finished Monday with a short trip to Koln Germany (mini NewYork) and tuesday everybody but me went to Volkenburg (I have already been there 3 and my entire 3rd quarter class of Psychology was due so I had to take some tests and stuff). When hey got home we went to the Dutch movie theater. We ran into another American family (Maxwell's) and they sat with us so we were the loud Americans in the theater
Wednesday we drove up to Paris. Second time in Paris.... It should be called the City of Death instead of the city of Love; just personal opinion
