DS version is definitely amazing like that. Boss games have been in a few MP games, though (I think they started somewhere around 6 or 7). The DK board (multiple stars at once) is actually really easy to win at once you figure out what you're doing.

WanderingWolf, race-to-finish boards suck; it completely removes the skill. Because of that, the Bowser board is the only good one in Island Tour.
Star collection was the whole point and they ruined it.

Don't get it. It's a waste of money. Even Pokemon X or Y are better.
