The Mayan Calender ends a cycle. Most people interpret it as the calender "ending," which leads to people saying the world is coming to an end on 2012.

Seriously though, I believe the show would be better if he would just dominate and would hardly lose. But all this "we can do it" crap and releasing/not evolving pokes makes the show crap.

I don't know. I'd have no problem with Ash never losing battles and having a large amount of pokemon to chose from.

Pikachu constantly is doing things not possible. The show also has constant person matches. Example, Chimchar vs Garchomp.. *head desk*
