I was thinking the exact same thing.

While I do entertain the idea of games with all Pokemon on 1 region, it's still a mere thought. I only think the Kalos Dex will have about 450 because of the threesections. In my opinion, it allows for more Pokemon to be present within the games, while still keeping it all organized.

At least, 450. No more, no less. That's what I think.

Just a question: is anyone here wondering if the Regional Dex may end up with more than half of all existing Pokémon? I mean, it did happen before. (RSE, looking at you.)

RE: What Gen 1-5 Pokemon do you want to see in X/Y? I agree. I'm planning on getting Y because of Yveltal, and I'm also planning on getting X later on for Xerneas, but it may not be worth it if we have a few exclusive lines. I might just as well get the good ol' deer from a friend. Game Freak...

You know, if the Kanto starters bit turns out to be true, then all 3 Kalos Dex's might begin with a set of starters. Kalos for Central, Kanto for either Coastal or Mountain, and a third set for the remaining Dex.

Well, if every section of the dex has a slightly equal variety of 'mons, we can count on at least 231 'mons. Looks closer and closer to reaching 300 by the second...

Well then, I apologize if I may have misled you. I meant the current confirmed total. I, personally, am hoping for the largest regional Dex possible (maybe bigger than B2W2).

RE: Kalos Region: Dissecting the new region. About the Pokémon League's location: I don't know if anyone has agreed on something yet, but in my opinion, the castle southeast of the ice windmill building appears to be the League building. Not to mention there's also a cave right before it.

I don't know about you, but I, personally, think that the split is because X and Y will have a LOT of Pokés to catch, so much that it needs to be split for, don't know, easier navigation?
