Still happen. Unown G would prevent effects that happen to that pokemon, such as special conditions. Thos effects don't effect the pokemon, they effect other things.

This confuses me. Can someone explain why this is true? Also, if you raise your pokes to Lv. 100 and they are leveled down to 50, do you still have to do the 248/248/8 spread?

Too many techs. You always want to start durant and with durant as only 40% of your basics that makes it a little tricky. I say: -2 Ditto -2 Drowzee -2 Hypno +4 Eviolite to reduce damage on Durant +2 Seeker to pick up injured Durants

Not sure if this would be true at all (considering my lack of experience), but i think that the OU metagame would radically different and maybe Ubers would be more played and more balanced, considering a lot of threats would jump up to Uber level without rocks. Then of course on the other side...
